The twin turbo setup came off in favor of a 3.8L Whipple Supercharger setup for our 2019 Mustang GT shop car. We wanted an instant hit of boost and that is what we got! That's awesome that torque jumps up just like it did on my Gt500 and your on a bigger pully but you have headers sounds like a full exaust now? I think you should be able to get it to hook but they have a bunch of suspension upgrades that help weight transfer. Great job Ray!

Ray, great video I was eager to see the performance of the new Whipple 3.8 SC. I am comparing this to the ESS G3X or their new GR3 for plans to boost my Dark Horse once I get it and build up the bolt-ons. I may have to drive to your shop for my install. I plan to upgrade the OPG, crank sprocket, fuel system & fuel boost pump when I have the SC installed. I think you are gonna be happy with the 3.8 Whipple over your previous twin turbo. RWHP of 1056 & your torque is gonna be exciting!!! Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you Ray. Cheers‼️👍💪😎💖🇺🇸✝️

3.8L competition Whipple Supercharger kit would run about $14K. Then you have the cost of fuel system mods and installation. Email ray@drpmotorsports.com for more information. Keep in mind the 3.8 setup is intended for big power. You can get a stage 2 3.0L Whipple setup much cheaper and make 700+WHP.

what all does a whipple set need? any other parts beside the whipple i’m looking for help for my own bulid for my dodge rt but i don’t know what all is needed

No the kit comes with engine lowering mounts

A 3.8L is a bit too much for a stock engine, in my opinion

@@drpmotorsports2186 gen 3 owners are running them with stock engine at the track on 6 rib with stock 3.8 pulley which is still the same psi 15 as 3.0L 3.5pulley

Look up @redeyeyote that’s a SBE car all I did was put oil pump gears in it matter fact it’s still on the stock 10r80…E85 doing around a 5.1 60-130 with some extra weight in the back for traction…like huger said 6 rib stock pulley

Great pull Ray! You mentioned that you have a Ford Performance 9:1 aluminator. Is there a reason for why not stay with the stock compression since everyone is saying stock compression is viable for boost? Thank you.

No reason for the low compression Aluminator. It was just a good deal when I bought it. If this setup was installed on the high compression version, I'd be close to 1200WHP on the same boost.

He didn't stay stock compression because he's intelligent man, and he wanted it to last.

@@rhamliniirhi This comment doesn't make sense. One can assume he's running E85, and in that case, there's no need to go to a lower compression. I don't believe one will last longer than the other.

The Aluminator is a stock 9.5:1 unit from Ford. It's being pushed beyond its rating but has held up well!

@@drpmotorsports2186 Really? Are you making more power with the car now? Because I don't think just over 1k rwhp is beyond the rating. Isnt it rated for 1200+? I ask because I have an aluminator myself.
