Hey guys, new subscriber. I've been watching a few videos and they are great. Just wanted to say it has to be difficult to live in Ohio and be a Michigan fan lol. Keep up the good work.
Do you find your margins shrink during spring and summer? Shorts and short sleeves don’t seem to bring in as much. Kriss Kross makes me want to. The box has a combo of Hawaiian style shirts and some shorts plus hamster food.
Yeah the spring and summer seasons tend to have smaller margins, but we have found a lot of new with tags stuff so far that are giving us a bump. Our athletic style pants and jeans are still selling well so that’s also giving us a boost.
In the beginning we did look up pretty much every item. Just to make sure the selling prices and sell through rates were good, but now we don’t really have to look up a bunch of stuff. It just takes up too much time. If we haven’t heard of a brand we will still do our research though!
We source for about 10-12 hours a week in total. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less depending on what we find. We hand pick everything from thrift stores, and a little bit of retail store clearance.
We drive until the car is full haha! Normally takes 4-5 stores. Sometimes more sometimes less. We feel like we’ve been very fortunate, but we also work hard and look through every item at a store to make sure we didn’t miss anything good!
@@ResaleBrothers I’m impressed you guys find so many solid items. My state isn’t great for retail thrift so I gotta try driving extra maybe out of state
