Elias Pettersson scored a highlight reel goal from below the goal line, taking it back and scoring the game winning goal against the New York Rangers in what wound up being a 4 point night for Petrersson in a 6-3 win. But just 2 nights prior in New Jersey after getting it started just 41 seconds into the 2nd, it was early in the 3rd, scoring the 5th of that game for the Canucks, his 2nd of the night, where he made it look easy to make it a it 5-2 game in what wound up being the game winning goal of that game. And finally, just this past Tuesday, scoring another pretty one against the New York Islanders in what once again, wound up being the game winning goal in a 5-2 win, Elias Petterrsson came into tonights matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins with the opportunity to do something no one had ever done in NHL history.
