I did wonder with the forecast and weather warnings for Italy if you would do more sightseeing. Naples and Rome are places that are better to visit during the cooler months for sightseeing. When we stopped on our cruise at Naples it was really hot,it was in the forties and at Herculaneum it was 52 with no air circulation because it is below the city level and the sun is beating down on you. Which is why we always bring umbrellas with us to use as a sun parasol. Everyone would give us strange looks as if we were crazy but after a while they would be wanting to share the shade or would be constantly looking for shady spots. When we went to Rome it was cloudy and kept spitting with rain but it was still in the high 30s but at least we didn't have the sun beating down. If we ever Go back to either place we won't go in the summer... it's just far too hot. Thanks for taking us along with you on your travels and welcome home xx

I have loved watching your travels... you definitely need more of them ... its really good fun watching you 2.... we met Jp Sammy and Raven yesterday as they are staying 20 minutes from us...such amazing people.. he showed us round the farm he was staying. They are amazing. They told us where your going next but my mouth is shut as don't want to spoil it for everyone else. Sorry we haven’t been commenting , but we have watched all your videos, sone on catchup, as we were on holiday, on a cruise. Not a posh one , but perfect for us. It has been very hit here, very , yesterday and today it has been a bit cooler. Will be a bit warmer again at the weekend. Neil always gives you a good old laugh. Nice chap. I guess a safer driver as well. I think a few of the bus transfers haven’t arrived at all hotels , my granddaughter has experienced this and told not first time . She went via jet 2 . Pleased you had a nice break away and back safe.

Don't know if it will get to UK but Paula & I made fried rice with a new SPAM flavor, Korean BBQ!! Paula liked it but she puts soy sauce on her fried rice and I don't really care for soy sauce. I found the Spam a bit spicy tasting. We'll have to send you a can or two.

Did you find that things in the van kind of looked different. Kind of like colours or items and how you remembered them. I don’t know if I’m making any sense but when I’ve been away a long time. Things kind of look different to how I remember them. Haha. I’m a “Crazy lady”. That was so lovely you cared for the homeless lady. So sad that there are so many homeless and what they go through. The Masquerade was a party night ( Carnivale ) in Italy where people would dress up in disguise and rich and poor would mingle on the streets and be very naughty.... that was the origin of the masks you see there and in Venice.
