When i was 13 i met this girl who was amazing, they brought me out of the darkest pit of hell in my life. And having only first experienced that kind of thing for the first time when i was 13, i didnt know how to handle it. I loved her with all my heart but i was pretty toxic not gonna lie. We broke up due to me being such a piece of shit. I was planning on taking her to see this movie, she loves anime and so do I. 2 years later, im 15. I have a dream with this specific song playing, me and her flying in the clouds exactly like the scene in the movie (still waiting on watching it). And i wake up with 3:31 playing in my head, and i bawl my eyes out, knowing i could’ve been treated her so much better. 2 years after that, i finally gain the courage to talk to her again, ive gone through a lot and learned a lot about myself. I was 17. I went into the conversation knowing that we’d never be together again, for the way i acted was pretty unforgivable… until i was proven wrong. She said “I forgive you”, now i dont know if that forgiveness was for me or for her to move on, but it made me cry once again like when i woke up with the song in my head. This conversation has been online only… Until a year later, im 18 and i see her in public, and we became friends again. And slowly over time i found that i still love her, and that I’d never be able to surpress those feelings. So i told her, worrying about our friendship dying and us going our seperate ways…. But she felt the same. Today is Valentine’s Day, and i woke up with the same part of the song in my head this morning, (3:31), and cried again. Because today i woke up with the love of my life… sleeping right next to me. We’re going to watch “Weathering With You” together today
