We are a family of 5 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I lost my precious Mama three years ago to Cancer and since then Holidays just haven’t been the same. My family will be spending Christmas serving dinner at our local shelter and I cannot wait. I just want to spread love, joy and hope to others. Thank you to your family for being so inspiring. May God always bless you.

I did the Los Angeles rescue mission as a kid with my mom for years as service work. It is very humbling and reminds me I am so blessed. Thank you for motivating me and encouraging me to get back to it. Gonna try to volunteer this year for Christmas in my city.

I am in awe of how lucky your kids are to be raised by such outstanding parents. Daily.. You are such great teachers of how important it is in life to consider others and if needed provide them with help. It is to a "sacrifice" to move your schedule to be able to do this good work on Thanksgiving. It is about showing your kids and doing what needs to be done to make a better day for people in need. one of the most important things about this channel is watching how God is working through you guys to be a blessing. I'm not a rich man myself and most of my extra resources are tied up in helping some friends of mine who are not as rich as even i am. that's the reason I'm not able to contribute. so as a consumer of your channel I thank you for the encouragement.

I am disabled so Thanksgiving is difficult for me to cook. But this year was special. You see my son Matthew 🦋 is 15 years old and we were living with my oldest son Kevin here in a half because I had a heart attack and a a pulmonary embolism. And this year I bought a condo three houses away from my older son. So this year I cooked. And it came out wonderful! Thank you for being such a people. Your family is a blessing.

A friend I met at a women’s shelter told me that she was going to do that one Christmas, and I said I wanted to help. It was a wonderful feeling to serve people that didn’t have anybody, but very sad to see so many homeless children there; that was when I lived in Bangor, Maine. Because of Covid I wouldn’t do it again, at least right now. Maine isn’t doing so well with Covid, so we stay kind of low. I was surprised you’ll didn’t wear mask, I guess it’s better in Alaska; hope so❣️ I can see why God’s Blessing are upon your family, all of you are truly good & kind people 😊💗. You work hard & give hard, that’s special! May the blessings continue 🙏🏾❤️❄️

if you can't do it at Christmas, consider another time of the year -- also consider that everyone 'gives' at this time of year , but help is needed the other 11 months as well :-)

I live in Honduras🇭🇳 and Thanksgiving has never been a tradition here, it's just a few families (that speak english and have traveled to the US) that celebrate this amazing tradition nowadays. I can tell you that this year after so much that has happened here we were really thankful for the opportunity to share a meal with all the fam.

We live the opposite end of the country to our family. My Aunt whose family is also like us, scattered. When her husband my Uncle dies, she would spend the major holidays seasons by volunteering at Missions in her State. I think it is a wonderful way to volunteer. Not every can volunteer on a daily or weekly basis so, this is a wonderful alternative. Thanks for taking us along as always when you are helping make Christmas a better time for those unfortunate people at this time of year. We don have Thanksgiving in Australia but Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I struggled this year loosing our son Danny Jan 8 2020 to a sudden heart attack then loosing our daughter April July 25, 2021 to an accidental overdose, she was in sober living 10months clean and relapsed. My house went from full loud and beautiful to silence. We have 2 other children Our daughter Marilyn lives in South Carolina with our grandchildren, we hope to move there soon god willing, and our youngest lives with us. anyway you gave me a wonderful idea how to get through the holiday next year and to honor my children at the same time. Thank you for bringing such joy into my life, your kids are adorable bring me lots of joy and you guys are amazing. Thank you again God Bless.

I was born on Christmas day. I'm also single with no family nearby. One year I really wanted a traditional Christmas meal, so I volunteered to help prepare the meal at the Salvation Army Family Shelter. It was fun working with others to prepare that meal. Much better then being home alone. Yummy meal too.

As someone who works in a supermarket, I love what you're doing. If you want to make it easier, maybe try calling the Safeway in advance. For common items, like yams, they can put cases aside for you so they won't have to restock the floor right after you leave. We had a guy who we asked to do this, and he refused. He would come in and clear entire endcaps that had just been built, and now they had to do it again. Plus everything for him was loose, so it had to be bagged. Cases are easier to carry.

Love your channel. I have lived in Anchorage, Alaska since 1967. I have traveled all over the State and if on the road system its usually by motorcycle and have bern to North Pole many times. In the winter I ride a trike and have ridden it at minus 25 so like you I love living the Alaska adventure. I love watching your channel because it always reminds me of how unique living in our beautiful state is. I hope that some day day I get the chance to meet your beautiful family in person so we can share Alaska stories.

So good! It’s a bit rough for me right now, mostly mentally. There was a school shooting about 30 miles from our house, I work in a high school, our family mental health is not the best right now, I am so so overwhelmed. I try, try so hard to be up and encouraging. From the music to your message to your smiles, so much thank you!
