The Gerber DIY is great because 1). It’s something parents and children can do together 2). It kinda shows what knife makers go through 3). It gives confidence that one can take apart a knife for maintaining it and being able to put it back together

I'm the exact same about haircuts. I'm 33 years old and I still don't know what to tell the barber/salon how to cut my hair. I sort of have it memorized but every time they look at me like I'm a little funny and I just tell them to do their best and make me look nice.
My hair is almost to my elbows and same reason. Anytime someone starts complaining I have to tie it up for a few days and hate it. Why can’t we all just have long hair and no one care. Haircuts suck.
As someone who's been cutting hair for about 15 years, I'd say it would be very helpful for you to bring pictures of multiple different angles of the cut you'd like if you have difficulty describing it!
@@Sanguivore I would do this but it would be awkward for me to bring a picture of some handsome dude (probably a model or celebrity) with a trendy haircut to my hair stylist just for them to look at the picture and tell me no amount of skill is going to make me look like that.
I have only had three people cut my hair more than once and two of them are family. I always go to somewhere else so they don't get to know me or I have to invent new small talk
Yeah do some more AMA Styyle Videos, while tinkering or doing stuff around knives. You even might help logistics with breaking down boxes and sharpen the knives afterwards. Theres so much you could do with this format.
Hi KnifeCenter team. Thanks for the video. Some feedback: I think it would have been nice to see more of the knife assembly during the video. Then again, it was nice to see more of Thomas and hear the banter. I don’t mean to make more work for Thomas, but maybe future vids could have a split screen so we don’t lose out on the build, while still “interacting” with the talent.
I’m down for more videos like this. More arbitrary, funny, uncut moments (maybe)? And Seth, I gotta say nice job putting the knife together and being focused the whole time because the moment you stopped to look up and said “wait… what? say that again?” - that would have been me the entire time.

This was a good one! Mr. Gray Bull's appearance is much enhanced by his beard. The sound baffle atop his camera looks more like a dead chick than a dead kitten mitten. Maybe they've stopped eating the cats in Springfield OH. My biggest wound was for hernia surgery, but that was by a person who cuts people for a living.
@Discontinued knives... for me it is Wenger (brand) and Wenger SGT Shortix Plus (knife in particular). As I have worked with gas-chromatography columns that is at the top of my wishlist.
I've never met a female that has cut off a finger or toe or had a body part ripped off. Conversely, I know at least 5 guys that have lost fingers or toes doing something dumb, including my cousin who cut off his index finger while doing deep water welding. My younger brother is a plastic surgeon and has a specialty in hands, and during the holidays, a lot of men chop off their fingers with either a knife or saw.

Thomas is headed into fatherhood with a leg up on lots of guys! I found that the only hobbies I could really maintain with very young kids were "garage hobbies" & pocket knives....Mountain biking, golf & things that took me away from the fam all day fell by the wayside. Fortunately my oldest gets her license sooner than later & she'll have to cart her little bro around & I'll have more time to F#*%k-off by myself in the woods!
