Stargate has a lot of game potential, and the actors haven't aged out of being able to do voice roles.

Judging from this video, I am actually STUNNED that no official video game has been made yet (aside from the mobile Unleashed game). Stargate, despite being of the air for several years, still has a HUGE fanbase and I personally think a video game in its own right would be amazing!

The authenticity and attention to detail is remarkable.

imagine a game 100 gb, have 100 different worlds and you can do war,trade,mission,have a farm,have a house,have a ship and update every month adding more detail.fucking heaven...

It’s really a shame Stargate Worlds never happened. At least Brad Wright is trying to get a 4th series going. If it takes off well , who knows? Maybe one day we will have an SG MMO

Just imagine an online game with an unlimited amount of worlds auto generated for you to go on missions and explore, with some well known worlds having side missions you can do

The artist/artists that did this are amazing and the accuracy of the facility is top-notch. I miss StarGate so much. When I was in the service my tag was Teal'c, whenever I was not outside the wire I was watching SG1 or Atlants on my Laptop.

This may be one of the coolest things I have ever seen, seriously my smile was from ear to ear when I saw that puddle jumper!!! The people who have made this have some serious talent and my goodness what amazing fans, the detail and perfect Stargate feel this has is pure fandom joy. If MGM had ANY sense they would give these guys some resources and ask them to build them a full on game, let them hire people to help them finally, FINALLY give us the Stargate game we have all been waiting for. This so beautiful, we don’t want a StarGate game we NEED A STARGATE GAME. With the real actors voice acting the characters. I miss them so much. This show means the world to me, having a game that represent this show gives me the that it will live forever and I’d like to believe that.

I think the real issue is that a majority of fans are out of the target game playing range Which sucks so much because I'd easily pay way too much money for this

I always enjoy playing this little tech demo! I also had the DHD simulator, too. There was a dev team who were working on a full on game for Stargate, which included voice-overs from most of the actual stars. It nearly made it to alpha release, but was cancelled by MGM. Thanks for the video.

Imagine how much SG-1 these guys watched to be able to make the SGC look this good.

My wife and I literally just rewatched the one where Teal'c was stuck in the VR, this is amazing it looks almost exactly like the scenario they were running, saving the SGC from Anubis super soldiers!

Stargate Atlantis is one of my all-time favorite shows, and I love SG1 too. I would love to buy a full game , maybe an RPG with action, SHOOTING and multiple team management.

There's an alternate universe out there where a dedicated team of SG fans created a total conversion mod for Jagged Alliance 2 that's the best Stargate game ever. Now all we need is to find one of those funky quantum mirrors and we can all play it

Just stumbled upon this, but I gotta say this an excellent fan made concept demo. I think a Stargate FPSRPG SinglePlayer / Co-Op (since the team in SG-1 was mainly 4 people) game would be interesting to see, given the popularity of space explorer games at the moment (No Man's, Star Citizen, Astroneer, etc.).

This looks great! I love the attention to detail; you can really tell it was made by fans. There is so many potential game-modes with Stargate: MMORPG, puzzle/escape room, base/resource management, combat, etc. Stargate is a literal goldmine.

There's a paper on the desk with Abydos symbols, and sometimes when you stay in the control room for a long time there's an incoming activation but nothing comes from the vortex

Man so nice to meet another great fan of this show ! I remember I even recorded some of the episodes on the VHS back in the days. Mainly those centered around Teal'c :D Good old days. I would absolutely love game like this. Something like Stargate meets No Mans Sky where you can discover procedurally generated planets but with species from the show. Throw some coop and story around it and you got yourself a hit of a game !

I made a 3D FPS Stargate game. Took me 5 years. I only need a couple or things done and it will be ready for release. It supports multiplayer threw Lan or over server. My Stargates are a full network. That part was a lot easier to code than I figured it would be.

I wish there was an xcom clone where base management is a sideview of the SGC and each room is a different upgradeable and management heavy area of maintaining the sg teams and base operations. When you select an sg team with various specialist classes and send them through the gate, it is not a high-angle, third-person, cover-based, tactics game, but a top-down, tile-based, turn-based strategy game. Each tile is a hex-style terrain piece where weather, cover, terrain, and culture have various effects on your team’s stats and equipment. Encounters occur as your team moves from tile to tile in a randomized world which draws from a randomized set of factors like geography and level of tech advancement and hostility by the locals. After each turn, encounter, and battle resolution your view switches to the sgc to choose the next offworld team until all sg units have resolved their own offworld encounter tiles. You are then free to manage the sgc and when you finally hit end turn, time advances by 6 hours or something, and you can repeat the process again, eventually gaining resources, technology, more sg teams, better equipment, more intel, and you go down the list of randomly generated worlds over and over until story specific events occur which may involve the offworld teams OR the sgc itself. Lets say, an event triggers the gate being locked open. Until you manage your tech team in the sgc to resolve the gate problem, all of your offworld sg teams cant use the gate. The end game is unlocking enough tech, intel, experience, funding, alliances, and resources to send your space fleet and multiple sg teams to defeat some system lord main boss or something.

So many possibilities. Could be so much fun

Think about it... you could have you own base in Cheyenne mountain, need to upgrade it progressively while sending squads on different missions through the galaxy to find new techs and alliances... all the while preparing earth's defenses against a huge goa'uld invasion !!! The tactical gameplay on the field combined with base management would be so dope
