Your videos depict day to day activities that insure the viability of your operations. Absolutely love your videos. You and your dad are so cute together, your funny and I love how you two interact with each other. Your a delight to watch. Some of the things you say are so natural, I would say the same thing, your voice is not hum drum like so many people out there, I don't like watching those guys much, but you keep it interesting. Your first house is special, you both will always look at it in that manner, fond memories is what my wife and I have with ours. We started with a small house in town and years later we bought our first piece of land and built a house on it. That is special in it's own rights, because we built it ourselves, other than the concrete, and raised our kids up there. Good luck on the house remodel and take care, I wish you both the best on it. Despite being in the nursing field for 51 years, I'm still a bit of a prude. Having said that, I thought that "combine fart" was pretty funny!---A number of years ago, when I wasn't at the Farmstead, my brother-in-law was helping paint the exterior. He painted a smiley face on my 2nd floor bedroom window, & it facing east, I get a great smiley shadow on the opposite wall, AND I LOVE IT! He did the same thing to my attic access panel at my California home when he was remodeling for me, & at first it scared my 5 y/o Granddaughter, but after showing her my bedroom window on the Farmstead, she finally got over the fright, & at 7, she no longer comments on my access panel!---Best wishes, one and all.

We are fortunate that we can bale lots of grass in our hay operation. We are in South Texas and in a drought and have not stopped making hay till now. They cut my Irrigation water, we own over 1000 acres of irrigated lands and the irrigation district wont let me move water from one peace to another. My Hay operations is on HOLD till who know when. Hope you guy get all your hay needs for the winter. Blessing Guys!!!

A family member’s house has a similar layout… they wanted a more open layout.. so they halved the walls for the basement hallway/steps (creating counter-height ledges) so you can look from the kitchen clear out the front window.. of course you’ll have to rearrange the kitchen a bit.. but anything’s better than a kitchen shoved in a corner.. and not being able to watch the big game on tv while cooking… lol

Hahahaha!!! "Ya just got farted on by a combine" LOVE IT! It's getting cold up here and some freezing temps. coming in so we are heading into fall roundup and weaning calves too. We went out with the herd up on the mountains yesterday and everybody is looking great. Soon all the bellaring will begin up here though and that part I am NOT looking forward to. Haha! I love that bay window in the living room. Ours sticks out about 3 feet and we put cushions in it so you can read in the sunlight. I get one page read and fall asleep. Nothing better than napping in sunshine. The wife comes home and me and the dogs are all snoozing with our bellies facing the sun. Not a one of us wakes up or moves when she calls us. Hilarious.

Words of advice for DIY painting. Good paint, good brushes and rollers and apply paint generously. Cutting in the trim and ceiling is easier with a tapered brush. Have wet tee shirt rags and a putty knife to wipe off your mistakes easily. I’ve done all my own painting for 50+ years.😉 Looking good!

Nothing like working all day and painting all night but it should look good when it’s all said and done. Most important part is it looks like a decent size garage because once you get all moved in that’s going to be the only room you’ll be comfortable in. 😂

Cole and brain just want to say from way over here in Glasgow Scotland I think the two of you are legend s I was brought up on a dairy farmer here in Glasgow but chose to be an electrical line man keeping the lights but farming never leaves you it’s in your blood how you guys farm and what your doing farming is beyond exceptional and you both make brilliant viewing and brain your the coolest dad and person could ask for I’d love to visit the states sometime and would love to meet you both would it b possible to get your merchandise sent to Scotland

Good job on the paint. I found a system that instead of the pan the handle of the roller is a reservoir that paint is drawn into from the can and then applied to the roller for continuous even application. After decades of the default method I won't do it the normal way again. Saved time and less mess.

Does the house have an upstairs? I like that window in the living room and Cole just for future reference that is a dining area lol. We're averaging 310 on corn and 105 on the beans. The earth is changing its weather pattern. I live in indiana and everyother week we get rain and it did that from spring until now.

Hey so when you painting with a big roller. Get the roll real good and covered first and spread about a 2.5 ft wide area. Then use the roller to spread and cover that area. Also only go up and down with your arms not your whole body or your back. You'll thank me at the end of the day because your back won't be sore.
