I do agree with the requirement for reaching tier 30 before unlocking the new brawler. However, I do not agree with the chromatic brawlers affecting drop rates. You have to realize, because brawlers are being released at about once per month, for f2p players this is very difficult to keep up with. I have had every brawler, with the exception of Sandy, Collette, and Amber maxed out for a very long time. However, because (as a f2p player) I can only buy the brawl pass every other month, I could not get Collette. In addition, I have opened over 500 boxes without receiving any of the 3 brawlers, and I have a .32% drop rate. Imagine how difficult it will be once I get a chromatic brawler at a mythic rate from a box, which I am forced to do every other season. Getting Collette this coming season at a mythic rate will drop my luck value significantly, and it will be near impossible to ever get the legendaries that I am missing, before SC releases new ones. In the past, it was highly possible for f2p to max their accounts with commitment, but the rate at which they release new brawlers, coupled with the chromatic effect on drop rates, is making it harder and harder.

Season 3 was the first pass I've ever bought. I got Colette from the first mega box I got from the pass. It was not fun. She is one of my favorite brawlers now, but the fact remains that I bought it for something to work toward and I didn't care that much about the pass after I got her. I am personally happy with this change. It sucks knowing that since all I am missing are legendaries, I would have gotten one of those instead of the brawler I was guaranteed to get later if this change was in place.

Personally I feel that after an hour or so each day of brawl stars completing quests and stuff I get bored and log off. The every 10 seconds a new map feature will be really nice for giving me something to do in that free time. 9.5/10 one of the best features added.

What I would like to see most about Brawl Stars is the Primitive environment (it would be great to see the dinosaurs on the map, and we would also know the genesis of Kaiju, the monster that demolishes SuperCity). In addition, I'd love to see the "Archaeologist Carl" or "T-Rex Leon" skin. There would also be a new brawler that is mostly related to a primitive environment.

Turrents... or maybe a tower that casts an AOE effect ( Poison, burn, slow, etc) that can be temporarily shut off after a certain amount of damage is dealt and then after 1.5 sec the tower enters a 15sec cooldown that can be ended prematurely by dealing more damage.

I just got my first map greenlit and let me just say...wow it felt so good 😂 It felt so amazing and wasn’t super hard if you’re part of an active club, which I think is awesome because it puts more of an emphasis on being a part of an active club! However, I think that the editor part is a little annoying, as you have to resubmit after making minor fixes (like adding a single block or something like that). I think if there was some wiggle room, it would make it a lot better of an experience. But other than that, it was awesome!!!

Here is how i think of the drop rates.. Im a f2p player and i still have to unlock 3 legendary brawlers... Now that they made it so that getting chromatic brawler affects your legandary drop rate is kinda sad cuz i would rather get a legendary than a chromatic becuz i can wait 2 seasons so that the same chromatic brawler drops down to epic drop rate... So when i get a chromatic it even reduces my chance to get a legendary which i should have got and now i have ended up with a chromatic which i could have got easily if waited 2 seasons.. I don't know why kairos didn't think of this.. Like this comment so that this somehow reaches kairos and eventually supercell. Btw i think it would be cool if there was an option so that we can decide if we want a specific chromatic in boxes so that after 2 seasons we can turn it on.. Or else make it so that it doesn't affect your legendary cuz all i have to do is wait 2 seasons..

Kairos, I'm gonna have to disagree with you for the chromatic brawler affecting drop rates. If I understand correctly, and I could be wrong, even getting the brawler from the brawl pass once you get to tier 30 (not in a box) tanks your legendary rates. I have paid for brawl passes in the past and consider myself a light spender. The only brawlers I have left to unlock are 4 legendaries and one epic. I am disincentivized to buy the brawl pass if it means it's gonna reset my legendary odds to .01% once I get to tier 30. I feel like I am being punished for 'supporting game development'. I could understand if getting them from boxes is the only thing that affects pull odds but chromatic brawlers are a special tier and it would be nice to let an exception to the rigorous luck cycle be. I feel like I'm in a stage where it's more and more annoying to play and this change only exaggerates that.

The reason they made chromatics no hurt you chances from boxes was also because players that buy the brawl pass deserve to get Lou with out affecting there chance which they do. But players that don’t buy the pass should still have to get to tier 30 and then have to pull Lou and it hirts their chances makes more sense

The thing that I am mainly worried about for this update is if I stop playing for some amount of time a miss a season, I would then miss a brawler. And there would be no way of getting that brawler after the season is over. This makes chromatic brawlers exclusive in a sense

Kairos I have seven maps approved and one on its way! The thing is if u don’t have anybody to play with then it’s difficult but if u are in a active club with a couple friends it will take about 30-45 mins and about 3 sets of friendly matches and I had a average of about 75 percent success or higher every time

Before, anyone that bought the brawl pass but unlocked the chromatic from a box would have their drop rates affected. So it makes since that they made chromatics not affect drop rate. This of course solves the problem so they can make chromatic brawlers from boxes affect rates.

The good thing about chromatics not affecting legendary drop chance is imagine opening a box and seeing a new brawler but that brawler is the new chromatic for that season. You just unlocked a brawler that you could've gotten for free or at a less rare rarity and it affected your chances of getting another legendary brawler.

I get why they made chromatics influence legendary chances, but look at it like this: If you unlock one when the chance is the same as a legendary, it will hurt progression so much more than if you unlocked it as an epic. So in a way, it's like a slap to the face for unlocking one early. It's almost better to just unlock it when the chance is the lowest possible. I think that chromatics should always influence your legendary chance the same way an epic does, no matter when you unlock it.

I so thought this was gonna be about legendaries being way too rare. I've completed the entire brawl pass, got a brawler to rank 10, have nearly 7000 trophies, and I only have one mythic no legendaries and only one epic. My Legendary drop rate for Amber is 0.37 which is quite high. *I’ve opened over 20 mega boxes, 100 big boxes and a few small boxes* and got nothing as I’m a max account. I think it’s really unbalanced for many players, making people throw money into the game.

It would be cool if Supercell has a skin maker ability inside the game. like how they are going to do with the new map maker, you choose a brawler with a clean slate that is all white, you add color, shapes, and symbols to it, then you upload it to the game. If a certain number of people love it, it becomes a real skin.

I mean they could make it like if you buy the brawl pass you can get the chromatic brawler by opening boxes before tier 30 but if you did not buy it you will have to reach tier 30 to have a chance getting it, what do you think kairos?

My personal reasoning for disliking the drop rate change is the idea that if I happened to pull the chromatic at legendary drop rates and have it greatly decrease my legendary chance which I have been playing hard to increase when I would have been more than happy to wait two seasons to unlock the brawler and only have it moderately drop my legendary chances, however I think this would be alright if pulling the chromatic at legendary or mythic drop rate only dropped my chances the amount an epic brawler would

Sandy's great versus squishy brawlers in certain maps. He can 3 shot some brawlers, and you can literally auto aim his attack. Almost no skill required honestly. Tip: Treat his super like a time-limited bush. You don't want to waste his super on too many bushes. Instead, use his super to connect bushes, so enemies will a harder time guessing whether you're in the sandstorm or you're on the bushes

Kairos, the legendary chance only decreases when u get a mythic+ rarity. It doesnt decrease for unlocking all brawlers

There's one thing you didn't point out in the update. Since chromatic unlocks now affect legendary chance, if you bought the brawl pass and unlocked the chromatic before teir 30, your legendary chance drops so it makes more chance now for people to only be able to unlock chromatics after teir 30(for brawl pass owners)

I'm personnaly think it's okey to have a lower drop rate when we unlock a chromatic brawler BUT the problem is that with time chromatic brawlers are less valuable. If i have to unlock a brawler with a legendary drop rate i would be very disapointed if it's lou and not amber because i inow that my chances to unlock amber just fade away to unlock a brawler that,in two month will have a Mythic drop rate. That's why i think that if you unlock lou for free you legendary drop chance is lower but at the end of the season it gets higher (i mean it's like if i didn't unlocked a legendary but a mythic) Please like my comment so that Kairos sees it and let it know to supercell Also i'm not a 'ative speeker so please excuse my bad language If you agree with me you can copy my comment , correct it and post it on kairo's next vidéos

I gotta say, I totally agree with the update being 6.5. Like all we got was a new season, VERY small balance changes, a new chromatic, 5 skins, a new environment, and map maker changes. Yeah, it seems like a lot, but compared to any of the awesome updates we got from supercell, this update sure is a small one. Supercell sure gave us awesome updates, and we should be totally fine with them giving us a small update. After all, the update did get released 3 weeks after the Amber update.

I 100% agree with everything, ive been playing since global, just maxed out my account last Brawl Pass Season. This change was definitly warrented. I dont really know how I feel about Lou yet, hes not my favorite, but like all the other brawlers, he'll grow on me. The only concern I have is the rapid influx of higher rarities with the addition of chromatic brawlers. Every season has a new one, yet every season does not gurentee another, non pass brawler. That does not seem balanced. Will every pass have a brawler, will they always be chromatic, will there be another type of chromatic- a lesser (epic-> super rare-> rare) one? With the addition of Amber there is an odd majority of higher rarity brawlers that will eventually need to be addressed. When that time comes I am confident the Supercell will have the right solution, this was just my take on the future of the game.

5:20 there’s a gem grab map that I played that has everyone in the middle and then they put in the lake block around you separating you from 2 huge chunks of the map and then put skulls in those huge Chunks and there’s portals there you will see it if you get unlucky enough to experience

I'm a free2play player but I only play on weekends, my friends are pay2win so i feel a bit left out and I'm sure that there are thousands like me who wish that the F2P Players had our own special thing.... well like our own special progression booster that helps us achieve things... (as you can see I haven't thought of something yet) but its a good idea.

I hope they bring back present plunder during December. I really enjoyed that game mode last brawliday. I know you can play it with friends but I want a repeat of last year where the maps changed everyday and the fun was never ending.
