Challenge idea: Do the same thing but decide after you catch 3 whether you are giving/skipping/keeping the 3. Could catch 2 weaklings then a legend and have to decide if its worth keeping the 2 weaklings for the legend or giving the other player 2 weaklings at the expense of the legend

You should do a typelocke challenge where you catch the first random pokemon, then catch the first 6 fully evolved of that type. If it's duel type you can only pick one... It'd be fun cause you'd have absolutely no clue what the other person might have. Could be a sweep, could resist each other, be completely neutral, who knows 🤷

Answer for chill question: kingdra was planned for first-generation but it was scrapped. Dragon-type was taken out for game balance from Seadra.

You should do a reverse one truth one lie one mystery. Rules player tells opponents 1 truth 1 lie and a mystery. The opponent pick pokemon for their opponent and also choose to skip that pokemon after hearing the moves. Example chill tells quick pidgey, latios, ???. Quick picks pidgey for chillin. After read moved quick chooses to not skip pidgey therefore chillin must use pidgey on team.

2 Challenge Ideas: before you encounter a wild Pokemon, you have to guess which type it is. If you guessed wrong you have to choose a new Type, but it has to be different then the one before. Or another way to do this: In the beginning you choose 9 different types. When you find one that has one of those types you have to Catch it and you have to cross out the Type that it has. If it has two types from the list you have to cross out the official first type. Obviesly 3 skips

Chilln threw it with all the switches, especially that first turn one where he could have prevented the setup of the rocks.

I think an interesting twist on this idea is to do with with the starters. 3 save files. each file you pick one, you give one, you skip one. aaand an optional bonus rule is you can't look at the others before making your decision. so the first one you look at, ya pick keep give or save and so on.

challenge: have a set of 3 pokemon for the other person, and tell them what pokedex number they are. if they choose (example number: 152) then they get that pokemon.

2 Ideas Actual challenge: 10 nonmasterballs to catch a team, if you catch less than 6 thats just unfortunate. If you catch more you get your pick. If you manage to catch nothing with all 10 you get 1 masterball for your next encounter. You have to throw a ball at every encounter, no picking and choosing encounter attempts. Other idea is just a rule addendum to your challenges like the language ones where the other person tells you what they are and you have to try and get a good one. Each person gets 1 veto, it can be used to either force a skip or cancel a skip for the other person but you can only do one and that one once only.

Idea: You both stay on call and your opponents next mandatory typing for the next Pokemon. Random encounters only and three skips. This way you got to be careful with comms too and not leak your team. Maybe as an added, you get three skips from the other trainer's team but you decide by only the moveset. No duplicate typings so you can't force a same-type team onto the other.

If multiple mons spawn at once, you get to pick which one you want
