Because its a political statement that no one wants to accept because that means being wrong. Didnt you notice how in the video No one noticed what they ment by the game, its pretty f****** obviously what they're saying but, its nkt what they want to hear. So, in the comment section everyone is say what the game actually means and others are denying what the game is trying to say about socialism by.... get this.... saying what the game actually actually means
@@ihambone2046 No we know what it is saying. Socialism is bad. Thats the fucking joke. And the fact that socialists dont find that funny apparently is worth a whole fucking video lol
@Node Microsystems you're deluded. Don't you realize America would crumble without socialism? The world would too. Society is based on socialism. Social ism iety. Duh..
the amount of people in the comments seeing what maximum, pure, unregulated communism is and saying “grr this is what that evil bernie guy wants” is SCARILY high
To be fair, he has been really vague on what his actual implementable idea's are and has a long history of praising actual communist countries, as a whole, until they eventually fail. On top of that he's even been called out be the prime minister of Denmark for peddling lies about Denmark and how it functions. All in all Bernie doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes supporting countries that are successful, and the ones that don't fail call him out how wrong he is about them.
Relo not really the countries on the whole in my experience, but the functions within those countries. he’s condemned the government of cuba for example while also praising their healthcare, for example
@@cdw2468 www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/will-sanders-long-ago-praise-socialist-regimes-hurt-democrats-november-n1139811 Even recently he doesn't have a good track record. He generally backpedals the moment public opinion is rather made up. He went on cuba from "it's all great" in the 80's to "some of things aren't as great" currently. Still wont recognize the issues in Venezuela. And also praised Sandinistas and didn't want to recognize their issues. Add on top of all that he is, almost intentionally so, vague on his political plans and you have a recipe for disaster.
@@footballhighlights7417 Democratic communist? Like democracy in a communist society or are you calling this person a Democrat and a communist. The latter makes literally no sense. Democrats are liberal and the liberal ideology is a free/opem market, not communism
If you’re managing any projects you may self develop one project before you roll to self develop add a contribution chip and pay the bank to self development fee
I bought the keep solely as keepsake. If everyone plays to win, the game would take hours to try and win. If not, the game is over in 20mins because the community fund is empty. So kinda a boring game
This is definitely not accurate of course. It's just a game. Everything gets more and more expensive so the money should have ran out way quicker then that.
So oblivious, even when the flawed socialist structure is blatantly laid out for them. 3:21 "Is this fun? Not really." That's the closest they got to realizing the point of the game. 😂
These career adult journalist were told to do some journalism on a simple children’s game. They didn’t understand the message. These people write your newspaper
I laughed when people were fighting over money in the "Free Parking", that's why i liked the video. But some people got pissed when they didn't understand that this is how socialism works...you just need to add a few million players...then it'll be perfect.....LMFAO
The best part about this game is how many boomers are using it as an example for "how socialism is a failure!" Nevermind we have studies and history and all sorts of aspects to draw off of, some old guy on the internet just proved everybody wrong with a board game nobody plays.
I'd say this game is a pretty solid criticism of socialism. Its similar to how the base monopoly is a criticism of capitalism. Socialism, at its core, is collectivist ideal. With workers taking the means of production and dividing them among the collective whole. And this is represented by the community funds which are the collective funds of everyone playing. The ideal of Socialism is the collective working together for the betterment of the group and likewise, in order to keep the CF (community funds) at a safe amount, the players would have to work together. The problem is corruption. Socialist states has fallen numerous times due to the actions of individuals exploiting the system for their own benefit. This is shown with the win condition of the game. In order to win, the player must use all 10 of their contribution chips. Only one player can win. This is where the chaos in the game is. Players have to both work for the collective, and for their individual needs and these deliberately clash. Not only that, but if a player becomes a milestone (either through typical bad luck, or deliberate sabotage like the 590 bid) they could result in the game ending in a complete wipe and no one winning. Lastly, the reason the board is filled with things like cafes, restaurants, and other city living places is because of the concept of the "Champion Socialist." The idea that the most common person to espouse the ideal of socialism isn't the workers it was created for, but instead young, healthy, and upper middleclass liberals who do so not fully understanding the concept greatly. Akin to a person demanding to "eat the rich" while wearing 1000$ designer clothing. Is it a perfect critic of Socialism? Eh... not really, but its a decent attempt.
guys... it's fine. socialism is bad, but at least... you're alive??? O.o;; im a capitalist. I believe if i work, i should get paid. Not give all my paycheck away to some homeless person that refuses to work.
