These interviews are great. I'll tell a brief Keith Murray story here. In spring of 1995, my 8th grade class in NC took a field trip to Washington, DC. On the morning we left, we were waiting for the Amtrak and my friend and I found a copy of Keith's album on cassette laying on the sidewalk outside the train station. We were psyched because we were both big rap fans and we knew of him from his videos on Rap City but we had never bought his record. So we spent the whole trip trading the tape back and forth and listening on our walkmans. On the ride back down to NC, same friend and I went to the cafe car to get sodas and lo and behold, Keith Murray and Redman were sitting there playing cards and talking. My friend and I approached them and they were extremely nice and honestly very surprised that two dorky private school kids like us actually knew who they were. I rapped a few Redman and KM bars to them and Redman burst out laughing in disbelief. It was pretty funny. They explained they were on their way to do a show in Greensboro, NC. We talked to them probably for a good 15 or 20 minutes before we decided to leave them alone before they got annoyed with us. But it was a great experience to meet them and they were really cool to us starstruck kids. Fast forward to 2008, my friends and I go to the Rock The Bells concert in Jones Beach on Long Island. Keith Murray performs at some point. A couple hours later I go to the restroom and just as I enter, Keith is exiting. I swear to god our eyes meet and he has this insane look on his face like "where do I know this cat from????". I just nodded and kept it moving. I still rock Keith Murray to this day, truly underrated rapper. If my eyes ain't red, it's all in my head, once said by a PhD med. Peace.
@@-sdot83 Facts! That's was when the music meant something to every person. Now they threw creativity out the window, and they are mumbling rap for cash.
This did happen. Dehaven confirmed to Doggie Diamonds that Dame came to him for help about this situation and dealing with Keith and his crew LOD.. Dehaven said Dame was worried about this and the fact that he came to him about it meant something…
Over the past six days I've grown to really appreciate this man. His friggin awesome. I'm 36. I loved the whole death row/bad bay era.(and bone) I can't believe I slept on all this. What about his freestyle holy shxt. The best. Hands down. I love this music man I'm still getting blown away after all these years
I need a map to follow this dudes stories. It goes from the beginning, to the end, to his childhood past, back to the present, take a detour to a club, stops to say hi to someone he was talking about back in the beginning, then back to the present. My head hurt! 😆
Yo art you definitely taking it to another level with Keith Murray bro his stories are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and hilarious his dialect is definitely unmatched by any as of yet in the interview realm big ups to you keep the dope content coming 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Love Keith Murray. Most Beautifulest Thing is still one of my all time favorite joints. Observing by the way he moves and talks, he definitely had his fair share of partying in his day. Respect to the OG!
The tunnel is the place where all the drama happened. Could be inside, outside, on the way or on the way out of the Tunnel. From beatings to car crashes.
@@frank-xp6pj yeah because he’s a 50 something year old successful entrepreneur that doesn’t need to live in the past. Keith Murray was a great MC but now he’s just a coke head 🤷🏽♂️
Murray Was A Wild Boy In The 90’s. Beat Up Prodigy, Damon Dash, Got Head From Foxy. Made Tupac Need Security. Murray Should Be A Regular On Your Channel. Great Stories
*Keith Murray RECAP so Far:* 1. He used to hang out with Biggie everyday back before he blew up. 2. He told Biggie to leave LA before he was killed. 3. He had Pac shook and scared to address his issue. 4. He made "Who Shot Ya" and Puff took it and gave it to Biggie. 5. He spoke with Biggie RIGHT after Pac got shot. 6. DIddy wanted to sign him but he went to Def Jam instead. 7. He beat up Prodigy of Mobb Deep. 8. Hit Dame in the head with a bottle as well. Got it 👌🏿
Mr. Murray actually has a real story. Would like to hear about his start in music. His first two LP's is Hip Hop to the core. Central Islip, Hawthorne Ave, Carleton Ave, Lowell Ave, HalfMile Road, Islandia and so much more. #IYKYK
This dude goes into full details when storytelling, very animated. He makes me think of Nancy Regan's "JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS" campaign and the egg in the frying pan "THIS IS UR BRAIN ON DRUGS"
I was there him and crew went crazy. They tore the spot up.They had to rush Brandy out of there. The lady he mentions was Maria Davis who use to the open mike. She was the lady on jay album.
