I love to see more of the classic botw enemies finally being coded in! All the other new features are fantastic too, and that teaser at the end has got me reeeal excited for whats next!
@@Megalophobitegotta be 1.19.3 to 1.20.1 as always. Last version of the datapack it worked flawlessly in newest version. Oh forgot 1.20.2 is out. Sorry I mostly play 1.12.2
by the way when I try to use either the ancient bow or the boko bow with an elemental arrow their textures turn into the normal arrow textures even with optifine
Dont worry about that, it will still work. The datapack and resourcepack were made in an earlier version and I simply forgot to set the versionnumber, because it doesnt really matter. The game will just display that
never used a data pack before. But since it is one. if you update the pack to a newer version of minecraft would we be able to update our worlds to that new version or would we have to restart like you would have to do with mods
Ive been getting into animated java and will probably never do these legacy entities again. I might rework the entities of this pack, but in general there are a couple of things about this pack that "aged" in my opinion. Not to mention that the pack is incompatible to recent versions. Honestly at this point, I could make an entire video about updating the things in this datapack that do exist already lol
I currently have 2 more parts of the botw datapack in mind, but there are 2 main reasons to work on totk rn for me: - its recent - the mechanics are very interesting and fun to create I love wrapping my head around complex features, but we already created the main features of botw, so I'll likely do a break of the botw datapack and do all the fun stuff totk has to offer. However there is a reason we didnt do features like the Master sword yet, so botw will of course receive future updates ^^

It just says that because I forgot to change the version number but it still works. The custom armor requires optifine... however the bow not working is weird
It does work. Maybe try pressing F3+T if it doesn't load initially. It's definetly tested in 1.20. The video was created in this version and besides - If something was wrong with the download, I'd know by now. This datapack has over 10k downloads as of now
Is it possible for you to create some of the mechanics from tears of the kingdom like that ascension ability that allows you to phase through blocks or the construction ability that allows you to stick Items together
