These models and stuff look so cool, and it gives me a bit of nostalgia. I think it would look even better if the cooked meat spawned on the bokoblin camps' campfires (like they're cooking it), instead of in their loots chests. Or maybe meat could just spawn in both. I can tell you spend a lot of time on this, and I'm excited to see more!
I think adding kilton and Moblins would be cool you could get a bokoblin and moblin mask from him which would make you invisible for bokoblins or moblins
yeh of course we know that, but there is simply no cold system in minecraft and we wanna see this datapack as additions to the game, rather than a modification that messes with the basegame
For stamina, I think it doesn't really work well with minecraft. I think that maybe it could just drain your hunger, and the honey cooking ingredient would just give you saturation. Granted, you could spam golden carrots or something to go really far, but I think it would work better.
Just saying i've noticed that with the ancient armor helmet in the original botw is over link's eyes and the one blue eye seems to be where he sees out of it.
I love your BoTW modding content! This is done so well! How long did it take to model these unique items? The datapack gets at the end added to Grazzy's BoTW building project and then the spans of the structures are not random anymore, right?
Thanks! Joris did most of the models, while I focus mostly on the code. We both do a little bit of both tho, so its kinda hard to tell how long these took. I will definetly help with Grazzys map, but Im not sure how much of this will be in his map at the end. Grazzy already said he doesnt want the map to include a resourcepack and on the other hand, there is also Howzieky, who has a bunch of overlapping features in his datapack... so yeah its complicated
I love what you guys are doing with the data-pack but i have a question how do you turn off the effects of stamina on the paraglider if someone would like to turn it off? and again continue the good work 👍
Uhm there is not a build-in mechanic for that, but you can simply set the stamina in a repeatimg command block: /scoreboard players Set @a botw_stamina 180
Again, great job there. Why would you need food that gives a Haste effect, though? We are not meant to break blocks in the datapack, are we? And will there be a mechanic for the different temperatures in some biomes? For the cold ones you could use the new freezing hearts effect you get when you are stuck in powder snow.
And that's exactly the point. You can use the BOTW datapack in a survival world and it works perfectly fine for this gamemode. BUT there will be people using the datapack with adventure maps where there's no need to break any blocks, which means collecting these Spicy Peppers is absolutely pointless when you're on an adventure map or in adventure mode. A solution might be giving the Spicy Pepper two effects though - Haste AND some kind of resistence against freezing.
Oh my! It's amazing! I'm going to play with this datapack for sure ahah And if you want more ideas for next updates, here's some: ・Temperature system - When you're in a cold biome like Taiga, Snowy Plain, etc... and you don't have a specific armor, then you will lose hearts because you're freezing. However, if you're in a warm biome like desert or mesa, you will also lose hearts because it is too hot. ・Slow motion system - When you are midair and you're shooting with a bow, everything slow down. ・Korok - When you randomly find a rock or a puzzle to solve, you can get a Korok seed, so you can trade them to get more space in your inventory. ・Shrine and Spirit Orb - You can randomly fing shrine around the world, and by entering one, you can solve a puzzle to get a spirit orb. ・Heart Container and Stamina - You can trade spirit orbs to get more hearts or stamina. ・Stamina Upgrades - Stamina also affects swimming and running. ・Champion Powers - You can use Mipha's power, Daruk's power, Revali's power or Urbosa's power. Note: They are just ideas, and there is no obligation to do them.
add the shrines and the statue things so you can get more hearts and stamina i would like if they randomly generated but there is a unlimited amount that can generate and the puzzles can be reused
Sorry if i can please ask what is the cooking pot mod called that when you throw items aimed at the pot it automatically cooks it for you then throws it at your inventory?
