After reading that book, I too could talk smack on social media about other peoples work. Joshua on the other hand is actually a good welder.

Tessla really needs to allow on tesla to charge another. Enough juice to get to the next charger should not take significantly more time than the fuel up and no need to go buy the cans of gas. Of course on could be a real dumb butt and pull this 100 miles from a charger.

@@danharold3087 , I figured that if they haven't come up with a solution already that they're likely working on an "emergency fast charger" that "roadside" could be equipped with to provide a "quick" charge to a discharged EV. Otherwise the first thing they'd likely come up with which seems a bit hypocritical as the "all-electric EV craze" is to start with, they'd likely show up with a diesel generator on a truck to provide a "quick charge" to the Tesla. It's all about the $$$/politics anyway, it's not about "saving the planet!!" because the excavation of lithium, it's processing and disposal are hazardous, the vehicles are way over-priced, they create additional challenges as mentioned "range anxiety" especially in colder climates some A-EV owners have seen nearly 50% of their range lost. That's like paying $40 to fill up and only getting $20 worth of fuel "just because it's cold outside".... And the list of problems goes on. Again it's because the push is motivated by money/politics not "solving real world problems with practical solutions."

The only companies that use so much cobalt is the fuel processing plants for combustion engine trash, and it's union workers who suffer in comparison to American workers... I mean Tesla workers. @@googadisbeotches9360 that cobalt is only a catalyst in that process (is "recycled forever"). Tesla is still alive mainly cause carbon credits and also subsidies. Time of elecric cars haven't come yet, it will come with SSB ~70-80% less raw material (similar composition) and 1/2 price.

What subsidies? If you want to compare to legacy manufacturers it's just like Tesla gets absolutely no subsidies since legacy manufacturers are barely surviving their last moments living off of ridiculous massive subsidies and grants until they're overwhelmed by their incredible debt which again you don't see with Tesla.

@@Juuk-D They're banning the sale of new cars with internal combustion engines, not the use of cars with ICE. Similar to (In fact exactly the same as) emissions regulations already in place, each time emissions requirements get tighter for new cars, all the old cars that can't meet them aren't automatically removed form the roads.
