As we set sail into the horizon of memories, let's take a moment to reminisce about the Pretty. Damn. Good. journey we've embarked on together over the past year. From the exhilarating moment we welcomed a new member to our family, our beloved Seawind 1160 catamaran PLOT TWIST, to braving the forces of Hurricane Idalia, our adventure has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Our voyage has taken us to the enchanting North Abacos Islands, where we explored hidden gems and reveled in the beauty of Green Turtle Cay. Each destination has been a chapter in our story, filled with laughter, learning, and the sheer joy of discovery. Our community has grown, with over 1,000 subscribers joining us on this journey, sharing in our triumphs and challenges.
We've shared our top sailing essentials, lessons learned before setting offshore, and the unexpected detours that have made our adventure all the more thrilling. Your support, through every like, comment, and share, has been our guiding star, encouraging us to explore further and share more of our world with you.
As we look back on this year, we're filled with gratitude for the memories we've created together and excited for the adventures that lie ahead. Thank you for being an integral part of PDG Sailing Adventures. Here's to more discoveries, more laughter, and more unforgettable moments on the high seas. Don't forget to subscribe and join us as we continue our journey of finding joy and happiness around every corner.
---
Remember, every view, like, and comment fuels our journey and helps us bring more exciting content to you. Let's make the next year even more Pretty. Damn. Good!

Fantastic look back! It's funny how seemingly heartbreaking events redirect your path to the most amazing and rewarding adventures. You two are living proof, and the adventures are just beginning. I am enjoying experiencing the thrill of all of your "firsts" through your eyes. Thank you for sharing.

Found your channel from the Blackfishsailing website as I'm signed up to take a mileage builder from Gary.

Gary is wonderful!!! Sailing with him in BC was an amazing experience. We were amazed by how more confident and comfortable we were by the end of the sail. Please keep us updated about your trip! We want to go back later this year to see more of BC.

You guys are having a blast and obviously really enjoying yourselves and you look like you are made for each other. Your editing and videoing is superb did you do this before you got your boat? I hope you carry on producing such good material, but more importantly have fun and stay safe. After seeing the anchor dragging does that mean you need a bigger or heavier anchor?
@pdgadventures
@pdgadventures 5 месяцев назад
Thank you! We've been learning video editing and videography as we go... so about one year experience! lol We have a 55 lb Mantus with an all chain rode and put out a 1:7 scope in this instance. The dragging was caused by hitting a rocky, clay that dislodged the anchor and she went flying in 40kt winds with no hope of resetting on her own. We've learned to dive our anchor to check out the holding and the surroundings - if necessary, we pick up and try again somewhere else.
