Vegan options shouldn't be a limited time only. Vegan food should also get the same consideration as non vegan food (flavor, mouth feel, and availability). I'm not vegan btw.
@@kdjoshi726 & @hawtyyy I personally think dairy products are far worse in terms of animal cruelty than meat is. I don't look down on anyone's decisions, but "vegetarians" that choose that diet for animal cruelty reasons, I think, don't have enough information yet. I think the most similar comparison to how non-vegans react when they find out someone is vegan, is how people react when you tell them you don't drink alcohol. They look at you like there is something wrong with you, because alcohol consumption, like animal consumption, is such a norm in the world. So when people go against the grain, other individuals get uncomfortable. I also think people have such a bad taste in their mouth when vegan activist attack peoples beliefs (even in our own community of vegans). That's why I enjoy people like EARTHLING ED. He is very respectful, and asks simple questions and allows people to come to their own conclusion. I wish all debates, whether it be on lifestyle, politics or anything went as smoothly as that. You don't have to agree with anyone to understand them. We all have our own internal compass that helps us make decisions that we personally view as "right". So just because someone is doing something you think is wrong, doesn't mean they think its wrong. We all have our own life experiences that shape how behave, and we all have a lot more life experience ahead of us that will continue to shape us as we go.
Burger King actually has vegan mayo here in Germany and the meatless teriyaki chicken sandwich at subway is amazinggg, way better than the veggie patty
the vegan Patty looks a little bit different, than the one I once ate here in Germany. I actually liked it although I was scared to try it, because I am a very picky eater😅 I also like the Vegan options from Burger King.
I wish there were all these vegan options in latino countries such as México. I mean, I can find vegan burgers in small chains or regular vegan restaurants, but it would be nice to find it in the bigger ones. Just as Merle said: they have the money, they could do soooo much better. Jaja that's a humble opinion from a mex girl to y'all :)
“I’m literally like Do I have covid? because I don’t taste anything.” LMAO! Also Subway in the UK we have the vegan patty, vegan chicken, and vegan meatballs
Tucker and Ben were so chill, well done ladies! Lots of fun/funny moments, and I called it that Blaze Pizza would win in my pre comment probably right below :) Big props to Tucker for throwing out the 10, they definitely deserve it!! 😎💥✊🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💦💦💦😌👌
I'm not vegan but I am vegetarian and the meatless options at Del Taco and Taco Bell are just chefs kiss. I didn't even like Taco Bell before going meatless and now I LOVE it! I haven't tried this particular burrito from Del Taco but the beyond tacos are super yummy.
I thought Subway tested a Beyond Meatball sub but maybe that wasn’t in the US? That seems like it would be good but at the least they could get some Tofurky slices!
Ugh they used to have it, at least in Canada where I’m from! I was OBSESSED with the Beyond meatball marinara for a few months and then it was suddenly discontinued in my city. Sincerely heartbroken, it was freaking delicious 😭 I agree that Tofurky slices would be amazing!!
Right??? They did test it and had lines out the door. So what happened? 😭 I take full veggie subway home and add tofurkey 😂 But I would get them a lot more often if I didn’t have to do that
@@nmg6248 I think that it did not have super wide appeal across the United States so they felt it wasn’t good. We had like no response in my area about it. It does show up in other countries as the all of you have mentioned.
This was so fun to watch! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but have been getting the veggie pattie at Subway for years. It's so good. You have to add veggies and a sauce, though! Sometimes I do chipotle sauce or mayo.
Any vegan content I am so grateful for, and obviously Merle is the icing on the cake! I also really enjoy seeing Tucker for some reason haha, every video he's in is it's just so fun and enjoyable so yay for this one you guys 💚💚🥰😘
Tucker and Ben need a podcast, just talking about nothing, I'd tune in daily. They just bounce off each other so well. Tucker is that friend you will have a great time with and Ben is the one who keeps you both safe and out of trouble. 😂😂
This was really fun to watch! I'm not vegan, but I love the Impossible Whopper (literally can't tell the difference) and while I have had the beyond meat at del taco before, I hadn't had the epic burrito. This video might have me checking it out though! And that pizza looks AMAZING.
I hope Panda Express in Texas has this option! I agree with the subway comment.. I rather just get the veggies lol. I had no idea you could request BK to not cook it too much cuz their has been many times that bad boy has been over cooked and it’s honestly not enjoyable at that point. Man I want to try Del Taco. That pizza looked A1 👀
Blaze Pizza is 🔥🔥🔥! It's in my top 3 go-tos for pizza in town. I always do their half pizza/salad combo. Loved this style of ranking too with vegans and non-vegans. 👌🏻
I want Panda Express now! 😍 I wish they would bring back their tofu eggplant, it was so good!! 😭 I got that every time even before I was vegan, it was often a secret menu kind of thing
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Verse 23) The Scriptures says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” ( Romans 3:23). Only Jesus Christ can set us free from our sin (read Romans 6:17-18 and John 3:16-18). Paul’s beginner’s guide to eternal life (Romans 6) leaves us with two choices. Choosing sin, which leads to death, that is being separated from God forever, (eternal damnation) or choosing JESUS which leads to eternal life. I encourage you to receive His gift of life today, and if you have already accepted Christ, I encourage you to share this gift with others today! Prayer- JESUS, I admit that I am a sinner and I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I confess that You are the Son of God and I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead, giving you victory over sin and death. Thank You for loving and setting me free. You paid a debt that I could never pay and gave me a gift of eternal life that I could never afford to buy. Thank You for forgiving me, I am so grateful!
Yeah i have to admit i dont trust anything at Subway except the veg and their "new vegan patty" hasn't changed my mind lol Im still a everything that grows with a fistful of Chillis and Onion Relish dressing. I have however talked Tanny into taking me to KFC soon cos they now have vegan burgers here in the UK. Maybe worth seeing if they have them there too xox
Loved this video for all the information on vegan options out there for fast food. And the group had great perspectives, it was nice to have vegans and non-vegans trying everyday vegan options.
Subway in Germany has vegan teriyaki chicken pieces and vegan cheese and vegan sauces. This veggie patty is so stuck in the 90s. Burger King Germany has vegan mayo, vegan chicken nuggets, two vegan burgers and a long vegan chicken style burger.
I just want to say that panda expresses “vegan” options arent able to be considered vegan as they are fried and made in the fryer and pans as the meats. The sauce also has sugar in it, which i believe isn’t considered vegan
It depends on what kind of sugar actually, and also what brand! Beet sugar isn't filtered through bone char, and not all cane sugar is either (it depends on the brand). It also depends on how strict you're being, and what you count as vegan. Your sugar doesn't have animal products in it (vegan!), but sometimes animal products are used in the process of making your sugar(not vegan?). I guess a similar point can be made about the frying process. Personally, I think whether it was fried in the same oil as meat would only bother me if I had a medical issue with eating meat, since I feel like veganism is more of a personal moral issue, but it really depends on a person's stance and decisions. Thank you for pointing this out, they didn't bring it up in the video, and you make a super good point!
@@Mell1501 I actually work at Panda Express! I forgot what brand we exactly use, but I’m sure because it is a fast food place, the brand we use probably uses animal products therefore the sugar wouldn’t be vegan! And you are absolutely right! I have dealt with a handful of vegan customers who didnt mind that their food was made in the same pans and oil as animal products!
In a pinch I get subway with all the veggies, take it home and add vegan cheese, tofurky slices, and veganaise. That vegan patty sounds so sad. Plus I’m so sad they never went forward with the beyond meatballs yet I wish you had gone to Carl’s Jr. And got Beyond Burgers instead of impossible. Not a fan of impossible as a company or their use of GMO products as they are so polluting and destructive I tried Del Taco beyond meat and want a fan 🥴
Thanks for sharing you Lovely people. 💕 💕 I didn’t know Panda Express has vegan dish. That looks goood! Add schiracha sauce to your sandwiches guys, they will taste better!
This is gorgeous and I’m jealous!! Kia ora from NZ. I can’t even have the chips (fries) from the BK in my suburb let alone a “plant-based” burger. They fry the chips in the same oil as our chicken fries here (for those who’d be wondering, picture well seasoned chicken nuggets in chips/fries form - I don’t know if any other country does this). And our “plant-based” burgers contains milk and are (most likely) cooked on the same grill as other meat patties. Also, this is from only one BK I asked, I know if I lived in another area where there are predominantly vegan eaters, it would probably be a different story.
BK in the US also has chicken fries, and the impossible patty is grilled on the same surface as the meat patties. you can ask for it to be microwaved if cross contamination is a concern though
That veggie patty from subway is actually gross and i don't say that lightly. I couldn't finish it, it tasted like dog food to me. And I will eat it basically everything, definitely not a picky eater
(As a vegan) if I'm starving and dying in the middle of a desert, and I see a Subway off in the distance, I would just keep walking past it. I've never seen trash so easily disguised as food
In UK here. I've not tried the BK impossible buger yet. But I have tried McDonald's McPlant which is really tasty, vegan cheese and mayo 😋 they've also got some tasty cripsy veggie stick things, not sure if they're vegan, but they are also great 👍
I’m surprised that Subway is that bad in your place. I have tried it in Subway patty in SG and Burger King in TH (both has no vege option in my country 🥲), I slight prefer the subway veggie patty thru!
We have the veggie patty at Subway Australia but it's way better and I always get it with marinara sauce, baby spinach, green peppers, onions, pickles, olives, salt pepper- oh and sunndried tomatoes if they have them. Tastes way better like pizza vibes. Our Burger King also has a vegan burger with vegan cheese and mayo so we are so lucky. 😋
Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed the video the only thing I want to say is that they did not eat the Burger King impossible whopper vegan because it is flame broiled which means it is put on the same rack as all of the beef patties and it soaks up all of the meat particles and juices that were on it before.
I’m not vegan but i am dairy free and i can tell you blaze is amazing. Love that they have dairy free cheese and I’m not sure if all the locations are like this but the ones near me do not charge extra for it compared to the normal cheese.
Impossible Whopper... when have you ever been able to order a medium rare Whopper? They're all cooked well done. That critique is literally just a critique of every fast food burger out there.

@@annina7x459 I saw that at German Burger King we have Vegetarian Butcher meat. They should try the impossible/beyond 😆, although I would also love to support Vegetarian Butcher. Plus, they should serve root beer!
Carl’s junior has a beyond burger that comes with ketchup and mustard instead of Mayo so you won’t have to edit it in any way…. And I’m here for it!! Went vegan in February and wanted a burger so bad a few months in… Carl’s Jr. saved the day
You guys are terrific! I wish there was a Del Taco in the Northeast. Jack in the Box recently bought out Del Taco, so maybe they’ll expand to the Northeast without corrupting the current Del Taco lineup.
I’ve heard that at Burger King the impossible whopper isn’t vegan because they cook it on the same grill as the real meat. The only way to make it actually vegan is to not have them cook it on the girl and have them put it in the microwave.
