Hi 😊 I'd like to ask a money question, while acknowledging the taboo around talking about money. This is not to be nosey, but to plan and understand if I could ever afford a project like this. So my questions are, how much to budget for a renovation like this? And does that money come from the overall bank loan for the house? (Like part of the mortgage I guess?) Or do you have to pay renovation costs out of pocket? Thank you for any insight into this aspect of home buying 😊 And congrats on your gorgeous place!!

Looking forward to a house tour! I'm interested to know how you source inspo photos and then communicate to contractors how you envision it working in your space. I'm hoping to build/reno in the future but struggling to find images of exactly what I want. I thought Pinterest would be helpful but so far I'm pretty much drawing a blank.

A lot of Pinterest! Literally hours of scrolling lol. I pieced together elements I liked from diff photos. Then sketching it out & planning the measurements. Then being there physically to imagine, edit or adjust, etc.

Kitchen - a mix of friend recommendations & searching online via Angi & Yelp Bathrooms - A recommendation from a friend who worked with them! Also, no matter how good your people are, I’ve learned that there is no “on time” in this field - expect delays & the unexpected 😋 but patience is key!
