Great idea with those moisture bags. I on Sailing Zatara that they have full coverage sheet for the whole catamaran and windows when they travelling. So they cover catamaran and it protects from dirt and dust

Bedankt Rob! Het was dan ook geen faillissement maar de stopzetting van een zaak die niet langer winstgevend was. De vennootschap heeft intussen een andere bestemming gekregen. Maar wat we vooral geleerd hebben is dat het leven veel te kort is.

Packing and unpacking are always the hardest parts of travel! :) Are you guys multi-lingual - do you speak Spanish, French and Dutch? I take it the eggs didn't make it? If the opportunity presents next time, it might be better if you could get a local wildlife agency to come collect both nest and eggs to improve their odds of survival. I have also seen people put something (like a piece of cloth) that moves easily in the wind on tall structures to discourage birds from nesting.
True indeed, really don’t like the packing 😅 Dutch is our main language and we also try to speak English, French, Spanish and some German. The eggs didn’t make it as expected, I read they only survive a few hours without the mother sitting on the eggs so it was probably already too late 😔 We had never thought about the possibility of finding a nest there, we’ll definitely take some precautions the next time we leave the boat behind somewhere.
