Thanks a lot!! We are really enjoying the life on board of our catamaran. Meanwhile we have also installed solar panels which provide plenty of power. We hope to cruise in Australia as well some day. Happy sail and fair winds!

My wife and I have met several sailing RU-vidrs over the years, and it has definitely been bloody amazing mate. We have taken them out for beautiful cruises on our boats over the years, and have actually had several over for dinner :) There's certainly an incredible cruising community, to be found on RU-vid. I own 2 large boat yards, where we specialise in custom builds and rebuilds, refits, upgrades, etc.. I also had the pleasure to work on several RU-vidr's boats, doing an assortment of jobs, both big and small ~ whatever they needed or wanted. Right now the most popular work is Custom Carbon Fibre work & Lipo conversions, including solar panels, battery banks, inverters, complete rewiring of electronics, etc. I'm a Structural Engineer and Marine Architect, so my life is literally boats, boats, and more boats. It's definitely a stable and busy profession. I'm truly addicted to sailing, as is my wife:) My boat company stocks just about every part, component, or unit for literally most monohulls, catamarans, and trimarans; along with power boats. I'm also an Authorized Dealer for a lot of inventory. We literally do everything and anything in regards to boats. My wife and I are finally taking off 5-6 months, within the next week or so for an upcoming passage to Indonesia (Island hopping), and North, possibly to Thailand or Philippines. I don't really have an answer to that. But I was told by a fellow Lagoon 46 owner that the design is completely different from the 450 so we shouldn't have trouble with the bulkheads.

@@SailingNohma Thought you should know. Maybe Benateau could beef up those weak spots as a warranty fix and you would be golden. There are a couple of Facebook pages started by Lagoon owners that are having the same issue and are sharing info, At the very least you will know what to look for.

Thank you!! They have a large pool in the factory where they do most of the testing I think. And once she was in the water we had to wait for another 10 days for them to finish all sorts of inspections.
