Since you wish to know more about their group dynamics, here is my take on each pairing dynamics: (its gonna be a long as comment get ready for it, grab some snacks). Jiu + Sua (JiBo): The parents. They are the same age, and Sua is very strict with age hierarchy inside the group, so Jiu is the only member who can speak freely to her, while Jiu is the caring leader, Sua is more like the chaotic mom that puts everyone in line and tends to reassure Jiu's commands on the group. Even tho she makes fun of her a lot. They pals. Jiu + Siyeon (SingJi): The childhood friends. They have been roommates for 10 years now, they know everything about each other and many somnias see them as their comfort duo. Jiu is always taking care of Siyeon who appreciates the attention and welcomes Jiu's love easily. Jiu + Handong (JiDong): The troublemakers. Known for covering a very spicy couple song together (Troublemaker). Jiu goes the extra mile to make Handong feel comfortable in the group. Since Handong wasnt that good at korean when she came to Korea, she had a lot of trouble communicating, but Jiu always seemed to know what she wanted to say. There is this feeling of extreme care and admiration you can see in Jiu's eyes when she talks about Handong. Jiu + Yoohyeon (JiYoo). The warmest: As you noticed Yoohyeon is very clumsy and constantly needs guidance in life, and there is Jiu ready to help. Yoohyeon sometimes would treat Jiu as her mom or older sister and ask for her help oftenly. On the other hand, Jiu feels grateful for ever single interaction she has with Yoohyeon, she once wrote a song about hugging her. Yes, exactly what you just read. Probably the second most shipped duo in the group. Jiu + Dami (JiuBin). The hottest. Known for covering TWO very spicy couple songs (My House and Full Moon). When they are together they are the cool kids, Jiu, despite being the most adorable person in the world, is always trying to match up with Dami's cool kid energy. As you noticed Dami really helps the leader to take care of the members, so they also are a more mature duo in that aspect. Jiu + Gahyeon (GahJi). The cutest. Both leader and maknae are adorable and very cheerful and bright, Jiu as the oldest member, sometimes is left behind on the newest trends and slangs, and Gahyeon is always there to explain new stuff to the old leader. Jiu takes cares of Gahyeon as her younger sister and Gahyeon always mentions she is thankful for it. Sua + Siyeon (SuaYeon). The shameless duo. Here is the thing, Sua is a mess and she flirts with the members, and try to grab their butts, and Siyeon is the only one brave enough to flirt back, so it becomes a whole gay mess. They are very comfortable around each other, very touchy, sometimes inappropriate and unfiltered. They make fun of each other quite a lot too. The most shipped couple out there. Sua + Handong (SuDong). The softest. Handong is probably the only human being in the world who can make fun of Sua and get away with it. Sua has such a soft spot for her, they are very huggy. Sua once said the day she cried the hardest as a dreamcatcher member was the day Handong left to China to joy the survival show. Sua + Yoohyeon (SuYoo). The brats. Chaotic bickering sibblings energy here. Sua would make fun of Yoohyeon and lowkey bully her all the time and Yoohyeon would respond by being a total brat, speaking unformally to Sua who absolutely hates it. But despite this, as every good pair of sibblings, they take care of each other a lot. And they are roommates, so imagine the chaos. Sua + Dami (SuBin/YuRa). the mood matchers. Even tho Sua is the loudest member and Dami is one of the quietest ones, they match each other energy very well. Dami plays along with Sua's chaos, and somehow Sua tones down on the craziness and even chills a little when she is around Dami. My guess is that they've known each other for a long time and know exactly how to make each other feel at home. Sua + Gahyeon (GahBo). Family. Sua often acts like Gahyeon's mom, and tries to raise her well. Gahyeon is thankfull for it, but sometimes they bicker a lot and it's always funny and very endearing somehow. You can see Gahyeon trusts her a lot. Siyeon + Handong (SiDong). The easy going. As you saw, Siyeon can be.. a very... weird member and Handong is 100% fine with it, she laughs along and even do weird stuff along with her. Even if Handong is the quietest member, (to me) she is the hidden funniest member in the group, cause she doesnt talk much but whenever she opens her mouth you sure in for a good laugh and Siyeon's sense of humor matches that very easily. Siyeon + Yoohyeon (SiYoo). The reckless duo. They share one braincell I swear. They communicate by barking at each other, Yoohyeon can be very mischivious sometimes and Siyeon is always ready to play along. Siyeon + Dami (SingBin). The coolest. Just like Jiu, Siyeon also tries to match the cool kid energy Dami gives out, and the result is always... dangerous. But when they are alone, you can see that even if Siyeon is older she relies on Dami a lot, and Dami is very happy to help. Siyeon acts like a very present older sister, and she can match Dami's calm vibes easily. Siyeon + Gahyeon (GahSing). The safe place. Siyeon is very very protective over Gahyeon, she will 100% fight you if you ever upset the maknae. Siyeon spoils her a lot too, everything Gahyeon asks from her, she delivers, definetely the member that Gahyeon bosses around the most. Handong + Yoohyeon (YooDong). Meant to be. Since Yoohyeon was already learning chinese before Handong was added to the line up, she was the only one Handong could have a full conversation with when she arrived at korea. They bonded very quickly because they talked a lot, and Yoohyeon became very clingy to Handong. Even if Handong makes fun of her all the time, Yoohyeon just laughs it off and hugs her lol Handong + Dami (HanMi/DaDong). The classy duo. Dami is very cool and Handong is very expensive, so they have this classy aurea thats hard to shake off. Dami takes care of Handong a lot and even learned a bit of chinese to communicate better with her when the group debuted. They are very comfortable with each other, and you can see them both letting out the loudest laughs (even if they are the quietest duo) when they are together. Handong + Gahyeon (GaDong). The Soulmates. Both of them were added to the line up 6 months before the debut, and they have been sharing a room since then. Being the "Outsiders" in an already close group must have been hard and scary (even if the whole group was welcoming them the whole time) so they became close easily. They talk for hours before going to sleep and share their thoughts and fears. Yoohyeon + Dami (2yoo). The best friends. They were born on the same year, so they are very comfortable with each other. Yoohyeon is very clumsy and Dami just likes to take care of her. Dami has her own room now, but sometimes Yoohyeon would just crashes in her room and she would let her, despite it being too small for two people, cause she knows Yoohyeon wants to be there with her. Yoohyeon + Gahyeon (2Hyeon). The sibblings. Gahyeon, despite being the maknae, is always scolding Yoohyeon's clumsiness and Yoohyeon always messes up and forget stuff she is supposed to remember, so they do bicker a lot, and make fun of each other, but have this really wholesome comfort moments that melts my heart. Dami + Gahyeon (GahMi). The maknaes. Dami used to be the maknae during Minx, and even if she is really cute, you can tell the adorable image is not something she pursues, so I feel she was glad when someone younger joined the mix. Dami takes full care of her, finally being an unnie for the first time. They are both very smart by the way. The maknaes on top dynamics. This was a very long comment, but i hope it helped you :')

If you watch them enough you'll get to know how they relate to each other. Sua and Jiu are besties and Jiu is one of the members who Sua absolutely adores, the other is Yoohyeon. The way Sua looks at them is a dead giveaway. Gahyeon adores Handong and didn't get a new roommate when Handong was in China. Handong and Yoohyeon are close because Yoohyeon helped her with Korean when she joined the group and Handong taught her Chinese in return. Dami quietly watches all of them and fills a need when she sees it. Jiu is leader so she's responsible for all of them, but she worries about Dami the most, because Dami keeps things to herself. Siyeon is the protector especially of Gahyeon who is definitely a little sister to her. They mesh together so well in a way I've haven't seen in any other group.

Yoohyeon produced and edited her m/v cover of "Perfect"; which everyone says is a POV of going on a date with her (reactable, Dreamcatcher official channel). She also removed the "I'm a guy" lyric so anyone can dedicate it to a girl. If you want short-hair Dami to get an instakill on both of you watch the Piri m/v asap (it's also one of Dreamcatcher's best songs). Gahyeon was shorter than SuA at debut but she was still growing and just a tad taller than SuA now. In Korean culture same-age friends (chingu) have an easier time getting close which you've already noticed, Jiu & SuA and Yoohyeon & Dami. JiU and Siyeon have been roommates for 10 years now, SuA and Yoohyeon, Handong and Gahyeon, Dami is on her own.

Gaycatcher is no joke.. they have very generous limits lol! Tbh most ship videos from this group are overexaggerated to make it look like some dynamics are super special and extra real by shippers while pretending like other's don't exist. but tbh all of them are extremely wholesome. JiU loves them all to bits and goes out of her way to give them comfort like how she will put her hand in Siyeon's general area so she can pinch her skin. SuA is aggressively affectionate and acts as the mom figure and ensures everyone is fed and healthy, Siyeon has repeatedly refered to the 6 girls as her soulmate and has literal heart eyes whenever she looks at them but is also aggressively protective of them, Handong adores them and is deeply attached to all of them, Yoohyeon will ensure the others are comfortable and happy even at her own expense, Dami silently provides support and comfort without ever saying anything and Gahyeon adores them all and can also be super protective. I know shipping videos and gaycatcher content is really popular especially with suayeon and jiyoo shippers pushing the ships so much, but the girls all genuinely love each other, are actively supportive of the LGBT+ community and aren't afraid to play up the gayness of their already extremely close dynamic. SuA, JiU, Handong and Siyeon have all said they want to meet again in the next life and they really are OT7. Also wanna point out Korea and similar Asian culturrs are homosocial and are usually more open about same sex affection. The fact that Dami is uncomfortable undressing or being undressed around her members is something that was very shocking to the hosts at idol ground because she grew up with brothers and is in general not comfortable being touched or hugged.

During the US tour they would speak a couple words here and there in English or even a few sentences, but other than that they did have a translator translating what they were saying.

A lot less well known is that they once went on a radio show and voice acted out what are basically two like original stories (i dont remember if they wrote it but wouldnt surprise if they helped) The first one is about all of dc coming together in this house that turns out to have this treasure, and u find out that all of them have ulterior motives, The second one, is at damis wedding, and all of them reminisce about how dami came to their school years ago and how they all got a crush on her (well, she plays a guy in the story but like still lol?) Even when they do things like Weekly Idol, Idol Radio, Idol Marketplace, After School Club, the show where they did Pepero game their crazy can not always be contained. Had same problem, I got into them after they had their first European tour but lucky enough they came back to London for second time few months ago and was the best night of my life. They are my ult group and so happy I see them live. My God they are more gorgeous in the flesh and they were choatic on stage, had us in stitches 💕

don't listen to the gaycatcher or ship request videos if you don't feel comfortable, they're usually super cringy and the shippers are pretty invasive. instead of people trying to sell you a ship to prove that they're lgbtq allies, i think a huge thing that you should know is that dami is friends with 9muses ryu sera. in ryu sera's discord she'd admitted to having some homophobic values and that the dreamcatcher girls educated her on why it's wrong, etc etc. i think that proves how supportive they are more than any weird compilation about an idols friendship ever would.

Lmao I feel that. I became a fan of Dreamcatcher as they were finishing up their US tour in 2019 and I was so sad I didn't know who they were at the time. But I went to 2 of their shows for this tour and I hope I can see them again. Also hope you two can see them live some day, they are truly amazing in concert.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!! I clicked so fast when I saw the notification, I am so glad that you guys reacted to these they all are SO ADORABLE! Okay I'm sorry but at 0:56 Yoohyeon can step on me she gets me every time she does that move, I also have to say at 1:24 I love Handong's look here and her reaction to Yoohyeon was hilarious, and at 1:50 that was actually VERY smooth, and at 3:49 that is such a sweet moment the way she learned Chinese to talk to Handong so cute! to answer your question: dami does like dogs but gahyeon (who is scared of dogs) was sitting next to her and dami was blocking yoohyeon’s dog from coming too close to gahyeon incase she felt uncomfortable, which is why it was in the “prince dami” section

Seeing a lot of great explanations and recommendations in the comments already, cn't wait to see you check out more of their stuff and get to know the girls even better, it's a wild ride in this fandom! I do want to leave a little disclaimer though, cause the whole "gaycatcher" thing can be a bit of a touchy subject in the fandom, since sometimes, some fans tend to overexaggerate it a lot, take it too far and even push it onto the girls themselves. It can be a bit weird, when some fans only acknowledge the "gaycatcher" side and completely disregard their actual artistry. Also important to know: while yes, gahyeon is the youngest, ad she has her cute moments, she has repeatedly stated that she dislikes being called cute and dislikes getting babied, so maybe also keep that in mind. (Not saying you can't say that she's cute or whatever, just asing to keep her wishes in mind, especially in places where she could see it, the girls do sometimes watch content about them on youtube, even reactions. Not too often, but yeah.) This is also another reason why the gaycatcher thing is taken a bit too far sometimes, people only seeing gahyeon as (for example) suayeons baby/child, reducing her to that, and also directly disrespecting her wishes. Actual "gaycatcher" stuff that is great and also the reason why it's still worth it to check out some of the gaycatcher compilations that were already linked, would be all the instances of them openly showing love and support to their LGBT+ fans! The girls are really open, loving, supportive, and don't mind voicing their support out loud, and it is very heartwarming to witness everytime. I hope this disclaimer didn't come across as rude or anything like that, I don't in any way wan't to keep you from checking out videos that you wanna check out (wouldn't be my place anyways), just wanted to give you a little disclaimer that you can hopefully keep in mind during the videos, so you can be aware of which fan edits may be a bit weird or overstepping. While all of the members are extremely close Dami and Yoohyeon /do/ call each other “best friend”. Also you were right! Dami and Yoohyeon do spend a lot of time together, practically inseparable, so much so Yooh calls Dami her soulmate (and has compared them to an old married couple) and they even sleep in the same bed sometimes (even tho DM gets annoyed at YH moving she still lets her sleep with her). Even to the point where Yoohyeon won’t leave her room until Dami does and vice versa as they like waking up at the same time. I think it’s fair to acknowledge specific bonds in the group while also enjoying their friendship as a collective :D
