😱THANK YOU😍 We stayed up till 1am working on this video and now we’re waking up to such wonderful comments and OVERWHELMING SUPPORT for Pip and Animals Fiji! The best part is: Casey, co-founder & managing trustee of Animals Fiji, is in an NZ hospital and she just had a baby! Now 2 days old it’s a healthy girl. Needless to say, she’s been busy and doesn’t know we’re doing this fundraiser on RU-vid! It’s going to be such a fantastic surprise! The Goal: Raise $1,500 USD to save 10 animals in Fiji. 🤯 WE CRUSHED IT!!!! Thanks to all of you for opening your hearts to these animals in need. We will update everyone on the final amount raised and hopefully get to introduce you to the Animals and the Animals Fiji Team in the coming weeks. Currently we’ve all raised over $6,000 on the RU-vid fundraiser and over $5,000 through the PayPal donation link: bit.ly/HelpFijiAnimals This is HUGE and is going to make a MASSIVE IMPACT! 🙏🏼 For those asking about where to reference “Pip” or “Wynns”: You only need to type this if you use the PayPal donation link on the Animals Fiji website. If you are donating using the “Fundraiser” on RU-vid it automatically applies to this fundraiser and is automatically tracked. The YT Fundraiser isn’t available in all countries so that’s why we had to include the PayPal link as well. A little Fiji COVID-19 Update: A few people noticed people in the market weren’t wearing masks. Nikki touched on this in the description box and on the blog post www.gonewiththewynns.com/saving-life-isolation Thank you to everyone watching, sharing and supporting us and these animals here in Fiji. WE LOVE YOU ALL! 💖 - Jason & Nikki Wynn 😁🙀
$7230 right now.You guys are giving them a huge boost! If I was in Fiji, Pip would become my boat cat. [edit] If I had the money to spare, I would donate in a heartbeat. Too bad CV19 eradicated my profession as an entertainment technician.
When we lived in Fiji (Peace Corps) we inherited 2 cats (Marioni and Lisa) from the previous volunteer. 2 years and 6 litters later we passed them on to people in our village. We lived in a thatched-roof bure. Such houses are full of various insects, spiders, hawk moths, etc. all of which were great fun for the cats/kittens. We made a donation of $50.
Thanks for setting this up Wynns! I donated $222.00 Fijian. Didn't find a place to write the Wynns or Pip anywhere. The donation is under my name, Brett Newstead. Many Blessings for doing this
This is so awesome that you raised that much money to help out. Have a little story to tell you all. I work nights theres is a bridge behind the building I work. Monday night we hear a cat me own and wouldn't stop. About 5 of us looking for the cat. One of guy's said he was going across the bridge and look for it. Went across and did not se anything. Came back drove under the bridge. Did not see anything. He decided to go back stopped and found a small orange tabby kitten in the drain for the bridge. He couldn't reach it came back and got something to grab it. Kitten is doing well now. Figure i share something with you all. Take care of yourselves hope you get back to your boat soon.
Always look forward to your weekly videos. This one pulled on my heart strings. Thanks for being so kind to animals you guys! 100 Fiji$ to Animals Fiji and 100 Fiji$ to my local Humane Society!
Have set up a repeating monthly payment through the Australian bank account of this org. Put Wynns and Pip in the box as ID. Can't wait to see how much is raised for more Pips and Mumma dogs.
Karen, sorry for your loss. My husband passed away 12 years ago and I still cry regularly. My comforter still is the cat he encouraged me to get. And laughter is truly the best medicine. Definitely kittens and laughter go well together. Get yourself one.
Thank you for that heartwarming story, you guys are the definition of compassion. In a spiritual sense it is appropriate that you publish on a Sunday. We just donated $75 Fd. Good on you both!
Since Allen Jones donated $1k, that motivated me to find space in my account to donate at least $20 during these trying times. I’ll just stay at home instead of spending it at McDonalds and Starbucks for a few days. My son has a rescue cat that we brought home from the animal shelter a few years ago. That cat is living like a queen at our house. Someone please keep the karma rolling!!!
Aww We donated $50 but didn't see where I was supposed to add " Wynns" to it. Well just so you know. It's not much but every little "Pip" helps. Thanks guys.
So sorry to hear about your dog. I have two dogs and try to appreciate them everyday knowing about their shorter lives. It will be hard to bear losing them.
@@toliveischrist950 Thanks for everyone's good wishes, as a pet 'parent' it's such a hard thing to go through...gets me every time. She was a gentle and playful soul, much loved by family and a surprisingly wide group of friends! Extremely well done to Nikki and Jason on helping to raise so much money....not just helping 10 animals to enjoy a happier life....but possibly 100 animals....they'll have to rename the Animal centre soon!
I just donated $50 figi dollars. I knew your fundraiser would do well. Congratulations for surpassing your mark and helping so many more animals in need.
I just donated 100.00 US through Pay Pal they have a site all set up for donations, I mentioned your name on the donation Thank You for your kind hearts
It's one thing to visit someplace and enjoy the beauty and wonder....but quite another to be a part of creating a solution to their local issues ~ BRAVO!!! Hopefully your actions inspire others!
The story made me tear up. I just recently bought my house in Florida bringing My 2 cats bear and fuss with me. Upon buying my house it was a stray with the prior owners had been feeding which I took on the responsibility and a very short time after that handsome little beige and white cat showed up as well well fast forward seven months and now those two have been adopted living a very comfortable life in my lanai and they are named Oliver and Cleo. I’ve made a $50 donation to animals Fiji
Scott Robertson Thank you for your kindness. We need more people like you........Are you familiar with Soi dog Rescue? They help rescue stray dogs in parts of s e asia b4 dog-nappers get to them. If the dog-nappers get there first the dogs are sent thru-out Asia to be tortured b4 they r killed believing a tortured animals meat tastes better
You two...showing us once again all the goodness in your hearts & in a time of world craziness. We are all blessed to know people like you with a great attitude toward leadership, making the best of your current blessings, and of course, acts of pure kindness! That little Pip, you needed each other!
Amazing..Pip surfaced for YOUR purpose! We are ALL LIVING in groundhog day🤣. I'd rather do it in in paradise! Sans 2 teenage girls..and working in ICU..😷👩🏼⚕️WASH UR HANDS🙏
Thanks so much for the happy video. We have lived on a pacific island where there was no vet so we truly understand the value of having somewhere to go with sick and injured animals. Happy to now be in a place were we can donate USD 500.
My husband and saw this video and HAD to help with $100.00. Your funds for Fijian animals is so great. We love your channel. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to help pip!
Oh my gosh, the last part of the video with you guys playing with Pip was wonderful! I’m not a “cat person” per se, and yet I found her antics and personality to be delightful! I was smiling from ear to ear and giggling watching the action! What FUN! Thank you~! I enjoyed the entire video and was thrilled to see how many donations have already come in. The dogs on the beach were especially touching for me. I’m so happy to know someone cares for them as well!
Y`all just jumped another million points in my book....I am a kitty people, and, to see your kindness and unrelenting compassion is SUCH a wonderful thing....Not only is that little kitty so lucky to have folks like you, the whole PLANET is lucky. Thank you. From Wyoming. Where it is about 8 below zero right now.
You two... sheesh. Such wonderful humans. I am proud to donate to any cause you promote. Also, I'm a softy for kittens. Both my kids are rescues, and they're amazing additions to my life.
Loved watching Pip and think that it is amazing what you have done for Animals Fiji. As of my $20 donation, you have raised $13,631. They are going to be able to provide great help for animals in need.
If i didnt love and admire you guys enough, This just made it ten fold. I work with animals every day so seeing someone, especially people i already admire, use their platform for the voiceless and for good is heartwarming. You guys are amazing! Keep doing amazing things!!♥️
Nikki this video as many of them has again touched my heart. Your aim for dollars for sure will reach well beyond your dreams. I have donated 100.00 Fiji d.
Totally blessed that you saved the kitten, Pip. We also just rescued two 3 year old male black cats, Mouse and Ratatouille, from a local rescue organization called WAGS here in Ocala, FL. God bless you for helping Pip, and for your making it safe so far on Fiji during the quarantine. Pastor Dean, Christian Life Church, Kissimmee FL.
Just happily donated $100.00 to this wonderful cause, unfortunately I forgot to add "Wynns" or "pip" to the donation. thanks for sharing and being such great people!
Thanks for using your platform to support this cause! As a veterinarian, I know how difficult it must be for them to care for animals in such an isolated environment!
Thank you for your concern and we hope you and the animals you take care of are doing okay in these trying times. Thank you for your service!!! We are very grateful for Jason and Nikki!
Well done Nikki and Jason ! Just sent a donation to the Animal Rescue site with Pip’s and your names on...Really great what you are doing, and hope you will be reunited with Curiosity soon..Love your videos and you as people. Best wishes from two fellow catamaraners…At least we can get to our boat (for the day only) here on the south coast of the UK but cannot go anywhere yet! Simon and Jean xx
We went full time in our RV the DAY the virus was named 😫 We got to our hunker down spot on April Fool’s Day and haven’t left yet. I know how you feel. The day the trails opened in the Ocala National Forest and we hiked a 10 mile loop, I felt alive again. Nice market there. Thanks for explaining the money. Canada 🇨🇦 money is pretty too. Awww. Poor kitty 🐱. What a great organization. Animals help so much. Those cries made me cry. You guys are soooo amazing. We are proud to help. What an awesome montage. The purr vs the cries. Love ❤️. Take care guys. You continue to inspire us. Alice
You two are crazy! Last Sunday you tell us you ran out of material are up to real time videos. And now you bring the whole story of that kitten on a THURSDAY … !! Thank you for it anyway!it’s a good story and I enjoyed it a helluvalot!
Not only is Pip a real #Wynner , Animals Fiji is getting that #Wynning feeling, too!! You two bring an amazing amount of light, love, and positivity to the world. Truly, the planet is so much a better place because of you!
"When" you take Pip with you to the boat, she is young enough that she won't know anything other than the boat. Jason needs this cat. You can see it in his face, how he lights up. Singa was a Bengal and that's where the issues came from. Cleo's issues came from her age.
Thank you so much for a wonderful video. When we moved into our RV park we inherited an abandoned cat. We named her Shelby from Shelbyville. She was skinny and rough looking but now she is quite beautiful. Looks like a cat with a black tuxedo on. She follows me every time I take a walk through the park. Like a little puppy dog. All the neighbors comment on how cute her obvious devotion is to me. She is a dear friend. My husband and I watch your videos all of the time. You guys never use bad language and you are a devoted couple such a supportive match. Fine example for other young married couples. Continue to stay safe and enjoy this wonderful opportunity to learn how to remain flexible and happy in unusual circumstances.
A kitten that energetic on a boat would not be good and as they've found, it can be such an ordeal checking into a country with a cat. It's best for Pip to stay in Fiji.
@@marshasmenagerie6713 True, but it was one of the reasons Singa got rehomed, so I don't think they are wanting to add another cat to the boat, which is perfectly fine and makes sense to me.
@Canon Singa was re-homed because he was a Bengal. I believe the Wynns had New Zealand and Australia in their sights and you can’t bring a Bengal cat into those countries. Cats themselves aren’t a problem, just the breed was.
@@imscanon Agreed. They Realized the Ordeal they were Puting they're beloved cats Through, often times, Those SHips become the Pets Prison when abroad, hope some go back and see the reasons for rehomeing Cleo and Shinga
Pip is a sweetheart and I thank God I am here in Nova Scotia cause I would have to have her, in my dreams, as I have my sweet LaceyLou and she would not like someone coming in on her territory! You guys are a joy to watch, your kindness and your beautiful adventures on your catamaran. Just before I landed back home I was on a little island ( Caye Caulker, Belize ) for 5 weeks so needless to say my heart is still there. I honor you for what you are doing as how anyone could watch that video of Pip and not donate or want to adopt her has to be crazy. Pip is a riot, so much personality and I am sure she may follow you back to your yacht!! I know you just left your 2 loved ones with friends so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Love your hearts, you are both very special! God Bless You Both! ( Glad to see the boat is in good shape and I bet you can't wait until you get home! ) This I hope doesn't come across as too bold, but have you ever considered having someone sail with you. I am looking for my next adventure after we break out of this isolation and look to spend 2 1/2 to 3 months out of our cold winters. I sailed mostly when I was younger and one of my bucket list items has been to sail on a catamaran south anywhere warm and I love to visit small islands and enjoy the beautiful people that live differently elsewhere. I am a little, ok a lot older than you but still have lots of adventure left in me. Finances not an issue within reason, and more than happy to learn ! If this is something you might consider please contact ( laurawilson2007@hotmail.com ) I do realize we are all uncertain of what the future holds but if this is something you would consider we would have lots of time to get to know each other better. Thanks for even entertaining the idea!
Nikki and Jason have invited Patrons to sail with them from time to time. Keep watching and if they do another public crew call you can throw your hat in the ring! Keep dreaming those tropical dreams. Best! Curious Minion
And of course we failed to put “Pip” or “Wynns” in our donation. Dang it!! You had already exceeded your goal which is super-awesome. Hopefully either way it will go to help the animals of Fiji. Sorry - user error. :-(
So awesome that you both raised so much money for Animals Fiji, and I am sure Pip is loving iso time with you! Imagine what they will be able to do with it all, hundreds of spay and neuters, vaccines, new cages, more advanced equipment... so awesome! To blatantly self promote... for those of you that loved this video you might like the work we are doing saving animals from our sailboat ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RFW8kIVuGP0.html . Much Love and Stay Chuffed Wynns!
Promote away! Someone recommended your channel earlier and they commented that they are already fans. I'm making sure Nikki sees this as well. Keep doing what you're doing! Curious Minion
She is a cutie no doubt about it. Should adopt easily now that you have her so healthy looking. Well done ..... Hope your initiative to raise money for these little critters is an overwhelming success. I often wonder what a cat like Pip thinks? From the street barely alive to a home with all you can eat and a bunch of love. No wonder she purrs so loudly .... LOL
I just donated and hope all your subscribers will too. These islands unfortunately have limited access to veterinary care and shelters. So any donation will go a long way ..
