In the tenth episode of this mini-series, we dropped the gate on the second day of racing the Tomahawk MX LL Regional and punched a ticket to go to the Ranch! Kiah put on quite the show for all of us, pushing herself like we've never seen before. Tate had an unfortunate streak of bad luck, so we will hit the next regional in hopes of him getting a ticket as well! More racing will come soon so stay tuned on the Reed's Road to Loretta's!

Ellie..Chad... I was glad you see what I see. Tate is so in his head he can't get out of his own way. I say this out of Love...all though he wants to please you both but knowing Chads success he feels hes letting you both down. Totally agree, immense pressue on Tait. I hope he knows or can appreciate that a year or two, pounding it out and learning is actually good for him and to not stress, his classes are VERY comeptitive...he can and will do it when the time is right. Have faith Tate. Best wishes from NZ.

@shanetuffnell8265 eh I think we all disagree. They took time off to see if they really wanted to do this and take it serious. Then came back and tate has gotten significantly faster and better since they last went racing a year or two ago. Go watch some old footage he's got the skills and technique. He's at the mental stage now.

@@shanetuffnell8265 Sorry but Bullcrap, he's been riding so short a time and come such a long way, and now is in the deep end in a massively competitive class. Doing the hard yards, riding the roller coaster is the process and if he sticks at it, I can see him doing it easily...in time. The process is the hardening up phase. He's got it.

Congratulation Kiah. She has went absolutely Beast Mode the last 3 videos. I was crushed for her when she had the DNF for a bike problem and no fault of her own. She was smoking through the rollers. She was making me nervous. Then that line where she was sweeping outside and then slingshotting into those rollers was unique. That is the type of stuff that Jean-Michel Bayle, Jeff Emig and Brian Swink (R.I.P) would do back in the day. Creativity.

Tate you are doing awesome!! Can’t believe how fast you have progressed - I think it’s always difficult at your age as you are trying to control your emotions which only comes with maturity. When things aren’t going well it’s difficult not to spiral as you are a fierce competitor! Which is obviously needed to succeed in the sport. @@_the484 Tate is not a spoiled crybaby the kid just had a bad day and at the regionals it’s heartbreaking when things don’t go as planned he got 5th in two motos the kid is fast enough to do this there is factory riders he is going up against and held his own bad luck just happens at that pace sometimes. Tate if you read this just focus it will come do the work and your possibilities are endless! You got this

Great job Kiah! Go kick butt at Loretta’s! Tate, you’re still young and you’ve got the speed and now you know what you’ve got to work on. Get those starts dialed and next year you’ll be up at the front! We all have bad days, you just have to learn from them. So much improvement in both kids in such a short time so can’t wait to see how fast and much better you both are (and hopefully pace gets back out there too) next year!

So proud of kiah she just goes better and faster every lap so Lets see what bring her in LL she has enough weeks to go to still become better! But don’t forget the track in LL is a lot different. Ellie and Chad, you guys are doing great. No. Really. I think the emotional part of it is him being a normal hormone driven young man. Mix that with the desire to become great while being surrounded by great talent can be overwhelming. I believe you are giving him the right amount of room to grow while still being involved. If Tate browses comments, stay motivated, these soul crushing moments are literally what builds a champion’s character.

Tate, hey bud, I think we’ve all been there. And that might not be comforting to simply know that others struggle too. That thing in the back of your mind that knows there might be a chance that this bike under you will lose traction and you meet Mother Earth 😂 can be a self fulfilling prophecy. I once ran off the road on my CBR 😮bc I was staring at the white line on the side of the road. I learned about Object Fixation. You will literally manifest in reality what your brain is focused on. In my opinion it's incredible how fast Tate and Kiah have come in a short time. Tate needs to remember that all those other kids have been going hard probably since before kindergarten and him and Kiah basically just recently started getting serious with competing. Another 2 or 3 years of hard work and the sky's the limit period.

Tate is riding great, the progress from a year ago is amazing, big meetings bring big pressure, he just had a bad day with so so starts and in the back with the crazies, that's when bad things happen out of the blue, he will get there, as Ellie said, sometimes you have to look in the mirror. this will be a good lesson, painful, but good but it's part of the journey. This is a channel for people to come and grow listen to the words of these 2 carefully, in any sport kids go through this, I tell my daughter all the time I can not want this for you and I will never want it more than you, if you want this you have to put in the work and you have to go get it I will always be on your side and teach you but I can't force you through it.

Back in the day I'm sorry to say but I always rooted against ya Chad, call it American pride, but watching this channel from it's inception has really made me a huge fan of you and your family. It's really entertaining to watch everyone grow together. The kids are killin it. Regardless of what happens I don't think anyone will put more pressure on Tate them himself. Being the son of a legend is no small feet. Trying to live up to the hype is tough.

As you know the kids are all in all really killing it and it is great to watch their skills grow. You and Chad are great coaches and parents. Great job to all the REEDS its a team effort!! ,I said in one of the very first vloggs Kiah was a sleeper she has it and wow how quick she has improved fantastic ....Tate (in my humble opinion) needs to put the fun back into it he has the talent everyone can see he has the tools, so mayby the weight of expectation is heavy for him... Kiah is shielded from this by Tate he is a great kid a bit of luck and a smile can go a long way (this is by no means me being a critic) i love the approach and the effort and the way the Reeds share this time ,i use what i learn with my son, just an out-siders perspective i have never been a Pro or even very good at mx so my opinion does not mean much ,love the Vlogg LORETTAS

Yeah Tate just puts a lot of pressure on himself. As a family you guys are crazy invested but not only that his Dad is one of the best to ever do it. Unintentionally thats a huge shadow casted and a lot to try and live up to whether he knows he doesnt have to or not.
