While leasing makes sense in the real world for the tax advantages, those advantages don't apply to the game. It is far cheaper to borrow money to cover your equipment costs. You can sustain several hundred thousand worth of debt for a fraction of what you run up in leasing costs. In the game, leasing makes sense for something you won't use on a regular basis, or something you want to try out, but not for equipment you use all the time.
Seems like a matter for the environment agency not the police. I'm sure the environment agency will be reasonable, no fines or anything. They'll just want reasonable changes made so no accidents happen again.
Great episode, FSG! I appreciate you keeping it realistic with the equipment. The only negative with a subsoiler vs a plow is you cannot create fields with a subsoiler. I did run into an issue once when I took on a plowing contract and used a subsoiler I didn't get credit for the job. It was on Elm Creek I think. Hope it works well for you. 👍😎
Guten Abend FSG, hope you liked Munich. I can just repeat myself: Your implementing what Giants is not able or not willing to do. A really nice story. I like that really very much. The timelaps track is nice as well - found it meanwhile. Roadtrip material...
Police not too bad, its whether they inform DEFRA. Thinking Charles knows who damaged his car lol. Two sticky situations FSG. Absolutely loving this series.
Cue a Two Ronnie's style 'De Da Dahhhhh' and voiceover. Can FSG convince the local constabulary the poisoned water is due to snowmelt? Will Charles reveal the vandalism to his car looks like an attack by stones fired from a snow blower? Will he be on bail or on the bales?
This is exactly what I was meaning. Amazing, nice work FSG, and you have inspired me to do my own contracting series,. But Im going to do it on American Falls
(steps out of car - Audi A8 from Kingsmods - collects briefcase from back seat) Okay, what have you done this time, and will I need to take the ACC to dinner? (for our foreign Correspondents Assistant Chief Constable is the second-in-command of a County's Police force)
Ohhh noooo 🙈 This is going to be interesting. Thanks for another great episode. Really hope the next episode comes really soon. Can't wait for what's going to happen now
We may be seeing the true nature of Charles showing through now, as he could have handled that wee problem a wee bit better than he did. While talking about Charles, I hope you are invoicing him for the use of the contractor equipment on his farm FSG? The other thing I don't understand is, if fertilizer is able to be spread on the ground, how can it be classed as poison? as when it rains it will drain to the water table anyway.
I think it's absorbed into the soil long before it hits the water table, a little different to dumping it direct into the water. But yeah Charles a little more concerned about his rep than anything else.
@@TheFarmSimGuyyou're right when it rains the fertilizer will get absorbed by the plants but if you spread too much (this counts also for slurry) it'll wash out into the watertable but if that happens (here in the Netherlands at least) you don't get the police turning up the same day or even at all as it is not thier problem 😂 it's for the environment agency
Hey fsg bud such a cracking job last few weeks nothing too comment on just enjoying the show but for the Channel sake I've got one 😂😂😂 Why are we working in dollars on the way to the settings shop pick me up some cookies chips and aloooominum 😂😂😂
OMG FSG. Looks like you start to cause more trouble than these poor guy Steve? 🙂 Smash the car of the boss. Spill fertilizer into water. What are you troubeling next ? burning down the shop ? Please keep going, loving it.
Great episode FSG it’s easily done I know a guy he got a 15K fine for a pipe split and he did even know it had split what a nightmare but great content as always and keep up with the excellent work 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Are the police getting involved due to the accident Davy had, damaged property, and potential breach of regulations. Especially as the original contractor firm didn’t have the best of reputations and is this being run by the same people but with FSG as a new front man?
Is there a way to find out what songs he uses when he does time-lapse? I know he uses the same few songs but I try and look them up but can't find them. Song in question is the one he has time-lapse at 14:00
You spend twice the fert on that field that you had to if you had adjusted the spreading width. And if you do these videos, have you thought about getting a steering wheel. driving would look a lot more natural then doing this with a controller or keyboard....
Yet again proof that the cops will turn up for any old rubbish they can fine extortionate amounts for but a citizen's private property is the least of their concerns. Anyway, that's what I'm taking away from this episode ;)
Your owner seems miffed... You might want to handle that quickly and clearly. I understand that you do have make up some story, but maybe invest in 5 minutes googling. Modern fertilizer does not contain any poisons, mostly just Nitrogen, that will at most make a body of water slightly acidic. Just ask for a water test, the police and complaints will disappear quickly.
Wow, nitrogen will cause an alagal bloom which depleats O2, which kills aquatic life. Ive been on the naughty farmer side and its no minor afair but, perhaps google knows another reality??
You saved me replying Drizz, rules in the UK are super strict on polluting waterways with big fines from DEFRA (Department for the Environment. @2Kudly you even get fines for slurry polluting waterways. so thanks for the sarcastic comment about googling. maybe you should do a bit more yourself 😉
@@TheFarmSimGuy I’m glad you included that scenario in the series. I imagine all of us has been in that situation before in our life. Interested in how your character will handle it.Moral dilemma.
Oi charles smigglewith tarquin haribo or whatever your name is if you are reading this wind your neck in old chap fsg will own it and is a credit to your farm 😂😂😂😂
