i have asked him before if he unintentionally says things out loud or narrates while playing in paper; i know i would have a hard time completely switching it off if i did as much commentated content as him!

i'm kinda obsessed with this deck... it looks like an absolute pile but it somehow executes more often than not, having daze in a cascade deck is kinda messed up, and the plan c of 'Draft Creature Beatdown' is absolutely hilarious to me. great piloting, Brian!

I absolutely love how Architects of Will out of all cards was such a mvp in holding the deck together, not only fiting perfect with the cycle, but also with a devastating etb trigger if the squeeze comes into play. I really enjoyed watching this league a lot!
When architects trigger resolves game1 & round3 vs breakfast, are you able to get information about what's in their hand based on the order of their ponder not shuffling? Also wondering if the top 3 cards are organized top to bottom in the mtgo display.
1:03:00 how are we feeling about attack with grief (hoenstly this is the iffy part, but wh< would they block ever), and then wail bring bounce aniamte dead, and recast on troll if we find nothing better on the top3. iddint really get wahts the point of bounce their grief anyway.
That's unfortunate for many viewers, but Brian addressed this multiple times. His views increase with this type of "spoiler" and he survives also from clicks. So, many viewers prefer it actually. Yet, yep, there is no perfect solution here.
At 14:22, you had delirium! You could have cascaded into Living End then cast Ouphe. Opponent would probably exile your graveyard in response to the Living End, but the end board state would be them with just one Emry and you with Marauder and Ouphe.
also worth noting that even though they still get the draw, I think grief-ing the strix is still right because they don't get to draw for countermagic until after the living end is already resolved.
what 2 drops are worth it for the inconsistency? animate dead/ouat/daze are all extremely fucked up magic cards you can’t play in modern. there could be something but it doesn’t feel like an easy port
