We're Re-doing Our Entire Space! 

Ugh that loft 😍😍 that is my dream home. Succulents, bricks, white and grey decorations, big green plants, string lights, open windows

I love you girls, but I thought this video was a bit off. I dont know if you were stressed or yall were following a script, but I felt as though it was not your normal vibe. Love you!

I like it, but if I'm being honest, this episode felt a little weird. It didn't felt natural like the original series was. Like it was rehearsed and too scripted. I like the talking heads but the rest was weird! Can't wait for the rest of the season though, I love your videos!!!

Wow, comment section being extra harsh on here! Honestly, if someone filmed my boyfriend (whom I love very much) and I reorganizing our space in practically real-time, you'd see the claws come out! lol. It's a creative brainstorm in motion, with furniture and function and it's not always pretty. You girls keep doing you, your work is amazing & it always comes out great in the end. Looking forward to season 2 ✌🏻

it's super cute, but for now it looks a bit cramped compared to how big the loft is ! but i guess it's only because the makeover isn't complete

This episode just felt...off. The the end result was also off. Maybe in person it suits the space better but I didn’t think the rug matched everything else. Def didn’t match the blue and greys on the couch. Trying to mix warm and cool tones looks a bit awkward. Also how is she ever going to use the space?! Reflections and heat from the Windows is gonna be crazy!! I don’t think she really ‘vibed’ with it tbh, and neither did I. The plant shelf behind the couch also looks a bit sparse with those little plants, but I liked all the other plants around the space like next to the tv or couch.

Good living room makeover but it looked awkward and small for a big loft. I feel like the credenza would look better on top of the radiator and the tv and couch should be interchanged. I feel it's more secure to have the tv up against a wall and use the couch as a divider between the living room and the office. Great choice of furniture and materials though.

I absolutely love your working relationship. I love how well you alternate leadership roles and how nicely you delegate and bounce ideas off each other.

It kinda felt like the areas you were changing were still great?? Like the plant nook no!! And my heart broke when you spray painted that gorgeous lamp black haha the natural colour is so much better and it’s neutral I don’t know why you changed it? The place looked cool after but I preferred the before to be honest, kinda felt like maybe you were just doing it cause article sent you stuff?

I really love this series but this living room feels like it's missing something? Or maybe some parts don't really go together? I don't know. And I feel like they're not genuinely happy with how it turned out? BUT I'm pretty sure that they'll be able to put together an A+++ output once the whole loft is done. :)

Why didn't you put the TV under the window and float the couch?

I LOVE y’all, but I didn’t love this. The rug is too small, and the space is really boxed in and limited. Bigger rug, open up the space by putting one (or maybe two) chairs opposite the radiator wall, put the tv on an angle. And honestly, as much as I love the plant sofa table, you are gonna burn up trying to chill there and get major tv glare. Either a big bamboo shade that diffuses light but still gives the plants a natural space, or just moving the living room all together. I think it would be really cool in the space under the loft. I think there may be office storage in there now...? But if you could work around it, that cozy space could really feel like Kelsey’s dedicated living room, and then you have this big open office and DIY space with lots of amazing light for filming and room to spread out. Then kitchen, bedroom, living room are all one half, office/DIY are the other half. Positive note - y’all do seem off in this vid, but I wonder if it’s because you’re working together to create this weird hybrid work/personal space. I’ve always admired how open and go with the flow Kelsey is about living where she works. I’m sure it’s mutually beneficial and makes financial sense, but I don’t think I could ever do it. Props to y’all for maintaining work/life balance! I’m almost 34 and just now am getting it figured out. Love you girls and watching you grow! Keep doing you!

seeing the tv like that gives me flashbacks to all the times my cat has knocked my tv off my stand hahah you guys really pulled it together! I was with you when you said it felt a little small with everything in there, but the pops of color the blues and greens brought really brightened it up and make it feel more open.

I'd put some weights on the bottom part of the plant shelf to make sure it is more secure, as it's too top heavy otherwise.

I feel like their friendship changed. Ever since they stopped living together a few years ago and especially after Becky got married. Now they seem like co worker friends rather than actual friends.

Not a fan of the tv placement. It’s such an eyesore having the back to the rest of the space but personally I liked where the living room was it just needed some updating.

The new layout makes no sense. Everyone can see a ton of exposed wires from the back of the TV? And a lamp as space filler next to the TV but serves no lighting purpose? Your head will touch plants behind the couch. The greys and blue tones don’t work with the warm rug and brick walls at all. Hope more improvements will be made!

I don't like couches against the wall, it feels like I live in a small apartment...and what did you do? That exact thing! I'm not gonna lie, this is probably the worst space I've seen from you guys. It just doesn't make sense! It's cramped, not functional and just overall looks thrown together and unfinished. TV opposite the window? Well I'm sure Kelsey is really gonna enjoy the shadows on it from outside. And from the look on her face I think she's not really ecstatic about the space either. I'm sorry guys, I know you can do better than this.

What in the world 9:50 - 10:10 is the most awkward encounter I’ve ever witnessed

First off, I love you guys! You bring a dynamic to creativity that is different and unique in order. Thank you for sharing your imagination. I really like the new items you received from Article and I'm going to actually check out their website to see what other things they have to offer. While I like the accent plant shelf you created, I think you should have made a credenza to cover the radiator and positioned your new couch cater-cornered facing the windows so that anyone seated could have a view of the skyline and also feel the sun pouring or the moon peeking in at night. The TV could sit on the new stand where you have the couch currently positoned. The new lamp could be placed where you have the ladder shelf and the ladder shelf could be moved to the opposite wall. These changes would place the opening to the area where you currently have the TV and a smaller one on the left side of the couch's new position. You could use your plants to accent the space with placements on the tables and atop of the new radiator cover. (And actually, you could leave the radiator visable, just paint it a different color - one pulled from the new rug.) Just a thought.

I built the exact ledge for behind our couch. But we use ours for coffee and to keep it away from our handsy little one!

If you need more office space why not use the old office space as the living room and have the TV behind the wall and use the area where the office desk was for the glass dining table. Then you'll have the whole open area free for one really big office/filming area? That way the kitchen bathroom lounge dining and upstairs area flow nicely and is kept somewhat separate for Kelsey. Just a thought. I didn't like the change of the layout for this one but still always enjoy your videos girls :)

Love this! To everyone saying the vibe felt odd, it must be pretty exhausting be "on" for a camera at all times. Every individual is dealing with their own struggles and I imagine that having to come up original and interesting content 3x a week while also managing a business weighs on a person. I guess just keep that in mind.

They should’ve switched the couch and tv. You get glare from the windows in the tv and the back of the tv with all the wires and hookups facing the office space will be an eye sore.. besides that it turned out alright... maybe like two pillows less.

The rug makes the space so much smaller oh my gosh, and the tv in the middle is so large and dark and is such an eyesore :( the couch in the middle would have worked better but I get why the tv couldn’t be against the wall bc of the windows. If anything I would say the new office should have been put in the plant corner and to keep the living room where it was :((( maybe change out the rug to an oversized rug and get a different color/pattern so it fits the theme better?

I think the coffe table would work better if you use both tables together, in the center. The loft is coming together lovely.

Looks great ! My concern was that there would be glare on the TV screen when you are watching it. Plants could also go on the window sill behind the sofa. I think putting something there would look great. Enjoy your new space.

I honestly don’t get why people are saying this all feels awkward... I feel like this is a pretty genuine video of them interacting, discussing, and maneuver big changes in the office. They’ve been friends for over 10 years and they now run a business together, not every single interaction is gonna be full of cute, quirky back&forth. Sometimes they just need to work lol they just happen to also have to film it all as well
