because she gets teeth she can get that diaper rash. my oldest daughter had it so extreme that her behind had such a rash to the blood. at every tooth. so frustrating
I spent many years as a pediatric nurse. You mentioned giving her her meds, if she is on antibiotics that is 100% the cause of the diaper rash! Even if she’s not it’s likely still due to her being sick. Her immune system is busy fighting the cold so she is super sensitive to everything else. What her body can normally tolerate just fine becomes more than she can handle so a change in wipes while her defenses are already down can cause a diaper rash.
Hey guys! So glad to hear you’re feeling better. My kids used to get diaper rash really bad when they were teething. My paediatrician told me to do one wet diaper, one dry diaper. So when you change the baby use zinc cream on the first change and on the next one use baby powder and alternate the two. Usually works pretty well. 😊
The look that Bexley had on her face after she woke up was priceless. Eli did such a great job on the pumpkin. You can totally tell that was his brother as they look so much alike. It's funny, you were reminding me Cody in this video too.
my son had a diaper rash and a cold when he started teething and my late gran always gave me the wise words - CHILDREN TEETH THROUGH THEIR CHESTS ( COLD) OR THEIR BOTTOMS ( RASH OR UPSET TUMMY) OR BOTH UNFORTUNATELY AND YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE IT AS IT COMES. Poor baby. The rash could be from the wipes, but having a cold (taking cold medicine) plus teething could give her a rash too. But stopping using the wipes is a good first start to resolving the issue. Hopefully soon!

Too true;.. it’s a good thing most people don’t remember that age;.. it is a miserable age for the mouth hurting, and the nappy rashes. I also think teething would give you a headache and sore throat as well (the nerves that go with some of our teeth, aren’t only in the mouth area)
Bag Balm is the BEST!!!! Its great for chafing too!! If you are big busted you get a nasty heat rash. Put that in it and it's gone within 24 hours or less!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
Bexley diaper rash is from teething. My son and now all 3 grandchildren have gotten bad diaper rash when teething. Daily baths with cornstarch in the water, I do kitchen sink and just sprinkle the bottom. Also use a thick layer of triple paste as it really helps. Don’t wash all off with pee just wipe lightly. Wash all off for daily baths!
Regarding the rash…when you mentioned she’s teething, that is a high possibility for the reason for the rash. My kids would get one often only when they were teething. My Daughter uses honest products on my grandkids and they also get or got a rash when teething. Sometimes it can be food related as well. For instance, I got a rash on my butt when I had orange juice as a infant toddler but grew out of it.
Lacey, you need to go to one of the ceramic paint stores. I’m not sure if you’ve gone to one before, but you choose a ceramic piece like a plate, but I’m sure they’ll have Christmas items to paint, and you pay for the painting time. They will put it into the kiln and you pick it up later. It’s super fun.

Quick safe cure for a cold, in a warm to hot bath put 1/2 cup of vinegar in the tub for Bexley. It will open up her pores and all the gunk will come out!! For adults put a full cup or two in your bath!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
The diaper rash could also be from cutting teeth. My daughter had a bad diaper rash and we hadn't changed anything. So took her to the doctor and he told us the diaper rash was from her cutting teeth. Prayers that you all feel all better soon 💕
Glad you are feeling better. We saw in the family vlog how your family brought you dessert when you were ill. Poor Bexley, thankfully we don't remember it growing up. As for her nose, try to get them our when they are not totally dry yet. And to sooth her pain, try to make her eat or nibble on some food/fruit? You can try to massage her gums with the convex side of a babyspoon. I love your pumpkin! Keep having fun together. Enjoy the festive season. 🥰
Bexley looks like Eli!! So cute! The Rash she has could be because she is teething or because of the medicine she is taking, especially if she is on antibiotics. I have two girls and the worst diaper rash one of them got was because of antibiotics.
Poor sweet girl! I feel so bad for her. My daughter set a teething around her age and she would get 2 to 4 teeth at a time so I know how you feel. It is very tiring. We used teething tablets and they seem to work better than Origel. But I know everybody does different things. It’s for diaper rash I would blame the wipes too. I think once you start using something and it works it seems to always happen when you use something else it doesn’t work. We had that happen with diapers but not with wipes.
when baby is teething... red bottom usually happens....best things is to wash bum with soap and water... dry gently with a hair dryer. experiences mom of over 28 years here !

teething can cause diaper rash but the best thing for diaper rash is Triple Paste it clears it up right away, plus pampers has a sensitive wipes that are very good

I made the mistake of using lavender scented wipes once..so bad..'Butt Paste' was the only thing that worked on my son's diaper rash everything else made him break out more
Idk what you have for diaper rash but if all else fails use Vaseline. I had a foster baby we couldn't figure out what was going, went to the doc, tried ointments..etc so the doc said try Vaseline. Went away!
Use resinol on that diaper Rash trust me you won't be disappointed. That rash will be gone in a day. You have to ad a pharmacist for it. Then for the 5eething use Oradell and keep a Tylenol regimen going
I'm not sure if its too late or if you've already been told, but when my son is on antibiotics he gets diaper rash pretty bad! We normally get his pediatrician to send our pharmacy some resinol!! It works really good. Should be at any local pharmacy. Hope she got better ♥️
Make sure that she doesn’t have a yeast infection with the doctor because the same thing happened with my daughter we use wipes she was allergic to, and it turned into a yeast infection.
My son ha never had a diaper rash until a couple months ago when he was sick. He actually got a rash on his face too (hives). After a trip to the ER & follow up with his pediatrician, found out that it was related to the virus he had. Literally nothing I did fixed it, it went away after he was well again. So hers too could be viral. 🤷🏽♀️
I know it's hard but try not to cough too much! I'm sick right now with bronchitis and have been coughing so much that I lost my voice all because there's so much mucus in my lungs!
