We're so frustrated with the IVF decision we had to make this week. We got another embryo update and the genetic testing results back and I'm sharing everything that happened.

I love how Grant just sits there. Supportive and lovingly, just listening to you tell y'all's story. He doesn’t try to talk over you or run the show. He’s just there. It just feels good to see the support.

I think Grant is being supportive. She’s also felt sick at times. I know it’s hard for the partner but I feel like getting the shots and the mood swings etc it’s so freaking hard on the female trying to get pregnant. Give her a break. I think they both did amazing. Letting her share but I agree he was supportive.

@@kendraquigley2621 there are cookies that say 'ivf is tough but so are you'. Also cookies are mixed together, formed (sometimes refrigerated) then baked in the oven. A bit like the baker is the embryologist. Then when you eat the cookie you think of the couple and say a little prayer or send baby vibes their way. Its used a lot for trying to conceive couples.

Oh my heart when you asked if you could go talk to them to encourage them like plants. They are your babies! My first pregnancy ended as a miscarriage and when I got pregnant with my daughter I referred to her as "maybe baby" until she was literally out and in my arms. Praying that you will hold your maybe babies, too ❤️

Having had 6 losses myself, I totally understand. I have 2 rainbow daughters and am pregnant currently. I'm 31 weeks so she's definitely a baby, I just pray that everything goes well and she is happy and healthy and I get to be her momma and have her by the side for the rest of my life.

I never, EVER, knew this is how IVF is, I have to be the most naive person on the planet! I thought, you make an appointment, go to the Dr, make a few more appointments happily get your eggs retrieved and go back implant them and you'll have a baby, of course it may take more than one time and for a very small % of couples it doesn't work on. You have schooled me to no end! This is so HARD.. and what you go through is unbelievable. I am sorry for all that you've gone through and thankful you are this far down the road. You two will be the best parents oh my such great parents... I pray you will have your babies.. I just love you guys so much God Bless you ..

As an IVF baby myself I am rooting so hard for you! Almost 30 years ago when it wasn’t so common, my mom made sure I knew how extra specially loved I was because my parents had to try extra hard to have me, and that’s always stayed with me! Your babies will love you and all you’ve already done for them so much! Going to eat some cookies now 😊

I know that one day when your future precious baby is older you will be able to tell her/him the story on how so many vlog friends ate and ate cookies wishing and rooting for his/her arrival and how loved he/she is, and that all those friends support and appreciate his/her momma so much ❤. I can only imagine how disappointing having to wait must feel. I have a mantra I say to myself when things are not happening the way I want them, “Everything is happening in the right and perfect time.” I know it might sound cheesy but it really helps put me back into a positive space. You can make the hallway cabinets look more “built in” using trim/molding to cover the gaps between and even crown molding on top. There are lots of tutorials on Pinterest and probably even on RU-vid. It seems like an extremely simple DIY.

Check out Abbeyfied. She and her husband built cabinets alongside their fireplace and made them look like built-ins by using molding. And they really do look like they came with the house as built-ins ❤💚💜💙💛

Omg when you said “we got the calendar! We’re pregnant” that hit home lol I don’t know if you remember me but I commented on a previous video about how I also ended up with only one genetically normal embryo from my last retrieval. I’m now 15 weeks pregnant! Sending all the prayers and baby dust your way!

When you said “ I don’t know what it feels like to be a mom” girl your a mommy now. Your doing everything in your power to make a healthy baby and to bring that baby hear safely no matter what! What your doing is what all moms do. And with you doing all of this and having the ups and downs, your going to be an amazing mother! We had 8 embryos and only 3 were PGS normal. It’s always a let down hearing the numbers drop. We transferred 1 of the 3 and now have an amazing 18 month old and we’ll be doing transfer #2 soon.

I feel like our IVF journey is so similar! Even the timing on what we are doing! I had my egg retrieval on September 21st, we had 29 eggs retrieved, 22 matured, 12 fertilized, 6 blastocyst, 3 chromosome normal. My doctor also recommended to take a month off to better our chances. Doctor said my ovaries are still recovering. So far our embryo transfer is scheduled for December 15th, hopefully there’s no changes 🤞🏽 Sadly, I have to be on birth control until I get my calendar for the transfer, and I know when to start taking estradiol. I HATE BIRTH CONTROL!! Wishing the best for the both of us! Patience is key 🔑

Because of how much I’ve been virtually invested in your story, I feel like you getting pregnant and having a baby will be just as exciting for me as if I was having one myself lol, like that’s how much I feel for you! My heart goes out to you. My husband and I were TTC for 8 years. I got pregnant once and lost my sweet girl half way through. We couldn't afford IVF out of pocket and my insurance doesn't tend to infertility issues. I hope you see those two lines one way or another soon.

I’m an IVF baby (25 years old now) and it’s been so sweet to see your journey with what the IVF process is like these days. Growing up, once I found out what my mom went through to have me (they tried for a total of 7 years and a few different types of cycles!) I felt so connected to her, and so proud of her, especially as a woman who wants to have kids in the future. IVF mommies are so strong and brave! Your kids will appreciate your journey no matter how it ends up happening and these videos will be so cool for them to see.

That question/comment came from me and I’m so sorry if it hurt or offended you and Grant in any way. I had no intention of that and I only asked out of genuine curiosity due to never going through this before. You sharing your story helps people so much whether it’s helping people currently going through infertility or just helping people understand the painful journey that couples do go through. You are by far my favorite RU-vidr and consider you a friend. Hope you understand. ❤️ P.S.-whenever you burn yourself put a fresh cut onion on it immediately and it will help heal and prevent it from blistering. Strange but it’s something in the enzymes!

I had an ERA after 3 transfers, 1 BFN and 2 chemicals. I wish I would have done it first because I was 12 hours prececeptive so I had to start my meds 12 hours earlier than you normally would. But I know you just wanna get going, I had so many set backs pushing transfers back between polyps and ERA and bloodwork for chromosome testing for me and my husband but I just kept telling myself getting pregnant RIGHT NOW isn’t the goal, getting pregnant and staying pregnant in general is the goal. I maybe wouldn’t have done it before the first transfer but I wish they brought it up after the first failed instead of after 3. It was kind of our last resort before transferring multiple embryos if the next one didn’t work. Every set back is like “come on! I’m just ready to transfer and finally have a chance at being pregnant” But after the ERA and changing my progesterone timing I got pregnant with my 16 month old 🙌🏼

During your sit down you kept saying it might be crazy but speaking from a fellow IVF/PCOS person absolutely nothing you said was crazy. Even though I didn't struggle with infertility, any waiting was hard while trying to conceive. I can't even imagine the hope of having a date scheduled for a transfer and then finding out it's better to wait. Ugh I unfortunately feel your pain. I did a retrieval and was like yassss transfer is next and got ready, I got a calendar. Then I got a call saying due to my age and the number of embryos I had, I should do another retrieval. Oh the heartache. I'm grateful you shared your egg retrieval struggles as far as the physical and mental complications. My best friends daughter who I love as my own since she was 7, and is now 20 yrs old, just got diagnosed with Cancer. She is having to have her eggs harvested because the intensive rounds of chemo she about to go through is likely to kill all her eggs or permanently damage them. She's going through all the shots and pills now and it's taking such a huge toll on her while knowing her real fight starts after this. But sharing your story and information has helped prepare her some and honestly with all the unknowns that makes a world of difference. Thank you! Sending good vibes for next month!

After six rounds of IVF, I can’t stress enough how important and ERA is! It COMPLETELY changed the game for us! We’d gone through a ton of transfers that failed or was a loss and the ERA was the missing link.

As far as the cabinets go... I think you should put the single in the middle without the door ... that way, you still have the storage but no issues with the doors not opening right!

For the shelving - the two double door cabinets on either side of the cutout (like smooshed up against the side walls) and open shelving in the middle could be cool! It would limit the storage slightly... but decor and photos could make it nice!

And then when your focus went to “the little fighter” ugh my husband heard and said “honey what’s wrong and I said Leighann and Grants baby the little fighter she’s killing me” Jim was like “oh oh come on little fighters fight fight”!lol I literally can’t stop crying LOL “they are our people” ♥️

You were so hesitant to open up a year or two ago about everything and now you share so much, while of course leaving some things private. Sending all the love and hugs. When you want something so much it’s really hard emotionally to take a step back even when you know it’s for the best and that it’s not the worst thing that could happen. I cried every month when we were struggling with fertility issues, it was so hard emotionally and I found it unbelievably stressful. We didn’t go through half of what you guys have dealt with, you are both so strong and are already great parents to those maybe babies. Cheering you guys on from the UK! Ok, now to see how the wardrobes go... Ok the music during the build kinda gave me Blade Runner vibes, I am here for it!

Also! I just wanted to say! I think your next calendar would be December and that’s when I did my transfer for my daughter Nora! She was three days late so she ended up being a Virgo but August was a wonderful time to give birth! Just wanted to give you a little encouragement. I know its so disappointing to wait because you start imagining life based on that schedule. So hard. But the new schedule will be exciting too!! I don’t know if that helps or encourages you but I hope it does. Sending only good vibes!!

Push the cabinets together! If you leave a space, stuff will fall down in between and if the gap is not big enough, you won't be able to get it. ALSO, if you leave a gap, make the gap big enough to fit your vacuum nozzle so you can vacuum the layer of dust that will build up in the gap.
