I watched this and loved it, but i did'nt even realize they weren't together. Tommy's in Sweden and Erik's over here. Saw an interview with Erik and he has no Swedish accent and he's a really nice guy. They're supposed to do another colaboration and I can hardly wait. And of course I am a huge Tommy fan! 😊❤
Since you said you would like to see more of Erik I heard that he and Tommy are going to do another colab. on Tommy's channel soon so watch out for it! ❤
Well, I am also a huge fan of Skid Row from the Sebastian Bach era, but since the guys won't ever let him come back, they had two choices, or stop playing or try to find a singer that could actually sing at Sebastian's level. They failed big deal for so many years...on the other side Erik Grönvall had his own band called Heat, and the first time I listened to them live, back in 2015, I said wow, this guy should really step in and sing with Skid Row. Almost 10 years after here he is, the best singer Skid Row has ever had after they fired the God of metal Sebastian. I saw them live last year and they killed it! Fantastic concert. And by the way, Erik has always been a huge fan of Sebastian Back and for him to be asked to join the band it's been an amazing honour. PS. Tommy is spectacular as always, though he's not longer in Sabaton.
I loved your reaction to these fantastic guys. I do not like the way you both rule out Erik as a singer in Skid Row. The fact that the guys in Skid Row reach out to him, should give you the insight that he's not a gold digger. He in fact is a really great down-to-earth guy (contrary to Sebastian). The entire band seams to be younger and more hungry after Erik joined. I suggest You give him a chance and drop the BS about that not being Skid Row. Love you despite that. 😍😜😊❤️
These two are awesome. Get Dan Vasc in there and you have the best trio ever. Lol I know they’ve sung with him. I have just started listening to Erik. I love him singing I Will Always Love You he recently released. Love this!! Thanks for reacting!! Hope y’all are doing ok! ❤
Great reaction!🤘 You definitely should check out Erik's covers of "Painkiller" by Judas Priest and "Headless cross" by Black Sabbath (and then check out Tommy's version version of that song while you're at it 😉). I'm a long time fan of Skid Row. I actually appreciate Erik being their lead singer. Being Swedish myself I might be biased. But I've heard a lot of their stuff with him singing and he's doing an awesome job!😃🤘
Sorry, thought this was a reaction to a Sabaton song. This was the first and last time I watched your channel as it wasn't so much about the song but more about Erik's Skid Row journey. And when you say you're going to listen to his solo performance, there's both his own album and New Horizon to listen to. Then there is his participation in NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar as Simon and with John Legend and Alice Cooper. Good luck with the channel and hope you do what you write in the title next time"React to a cover"...
@@Savage-Reactions I hope you don't write it in the next title as it will probably be more misleading if it's not Sabaton again that is🫣🤘🤘 As i wrote, next time...
Sebastian was good in the eighties, not anymore. I don't think anyone in the band wants him back. They found the perfect guy in Erik. He doesn't have to sound exactly like Sebastian, its not karaoke.
I'm not a fan of either Skid Row (past or present) or Erik Grönwall (though I really like his voice), but from what I've seen about both of them (just my impression) Erik is a nice person and Sebastian is definitely NOT. I could never be a fan of such person, great voice or not. Not bashing Sebastian's fans, just my pov. That being said, this cover is absolutely amazing. I'm usually very critical to covers of Sabaton songs, because Joakim has such a specific voice, but they slayed it
Erik is good but like you say it hard to replace..... for me this song should be bye the voice of Joakim in Sabaton. His voice is someting els. This version is to light for me.
