We React To NF: Why 

I definitely know plenty of reactors that have gone through the journey however you guys are just different. You pay attention more, you listen to the songs outside of your reactions, you can recall his past songs and actually make connections. I find that reactors that may start the journey but never finish is because all the callbacks go right over their head. I’m so excited you’re finally at the search, keep doing what you’re doing.. it’s working 👏🏼👏🏼

So the "I wish that I could think like Big Sean does but I just can't decide if I should stick my knife inside of Pennywise" is in reference to Big Sean's album titled I Decided. So NF "can't decide" if he should stick his knife in Pennywise referencing his balloons. When NF says "this isn't Nate's flow" he's again referencing to a single from Big Sean's album called Bounce Back where Big Sean uses a very similar flow to this song.

Nf has been the only artist I’ve ever gone back to listen to their old stuff and get so into it! I’m a metal head and mainstream rap doesn’t do much for me but this…this is so good, just so talented

That's why he says "this isn't Nate's flow" Then he mentions him in a line "wish I could think like big Sean does but I just can't decide" Big Sean has an album called "I decided" - "Wish I could think like big Sean does but I just can't decide / if I should stick my knife inside of pennywise" Pennywise represents fear itself. He can't decide if he wants to kill fear. - "they don't invite me to the parties but I still arrive / kick down the door and then I go inside / give off that I do not belong here vibe / take the keys right off the counter let's go for a ride / why do y'all look mortified / keep to myself they think I'm sort of shy, organized" He's talking about his relationship with the rap industry - that swing in the last scene is in the search video

Intro 4 is search single intro 5 is clouds single . Per one of his interviews, he still does intros but said he does not want to call them intros anymore. He said he will probably always do an intro to each album. Always without hooks and heavy orchestral sounds.

Here for the journey! The testament to how his songs progress is a direct relation to how long it takes to produce his albums. Good things take time. He doesn't write just to write. Everything he does is meticulous and intentional.

A lot of people go on the “Journey” but imo this album really kicks that journey into overdrive. Hands down best NF record and then he followed it up with clouds mixtape which just expands more of that search vibe to me

I've listened to NF for around 6 years. I was fortunate to find him when when his Mansion CD came out. The first two songs I heard by him was Mansion and All I Have From that point I was hooked. I've seen over 100 channels react to NF. Maybe a dozen that have gone on the journey. You guys are the best when it comes to understanding the links and Easter eggs. This is my favorite NF reaction channel to watch. Super stoked for Search album and Clouds reactions.

I love this one because it is the first time I really saw Nate's sense of humor. He is using Big Sean's flow, (why he says, "this isn't Nate's flow") because he is "in disguise". Very clever. I didn't do the whole NF journey, I just had favorite songs, but even with that I discovered that Nate's music really is his therapy, and as he progresses with his therapy, he gets better, his mood gets better (that's when you start noticing more humor) and his songs get happier. What's cool about that and why he has such a huge loyal fan base of all ages because going through his therapy, helps you through your own therapy, and you feel better too. It's awesome!

"A lot of people know me, but they don't know me well." The double meaning is awesome. There's the simple surface meaning. But then there's the more subtle one where he's hinting that these people don't him being well ... mentally fulfilled. Brilliant.

But you guys really look "past" the song itself. And look at the meaning and who NF is and what everything represents. And plus, I can tell you guys throughly enjoy listening to NFs songs. Spent my day watching this whole playlist of you guys lol. You say at the end of this that you still really love Real, and I almost commented on that video earlier that Real is still one of my absolute fav songs of his. It never gets old I just love it. Also wanted to say thank you for going through the Journey in the right order and letting us see. I got super into reaction videos in 2020. You guys just do it differently and I’m here for all of it! NF is an experience and I feel like I am experiencing him with you even though I have been a fan of his for years! I hope you guys react or at least listen to his other stuff that’s not a part of the journey. He has a duet with Britt Nicole and he really shows off his singing abilities.

Just a quick idea on the next couple of videos. Starting with this video for "Why" along with "The Search" and "Leave Me Alone", you are taking a trip into NF's mind and how he views everything inside his own head. You caught a first glimpse of his mind in the videos for "Real" and "Outcast". Buckle up because things only get better and better from here on. Oh guys , I am so down for getting more recognition for NF. He deserves it!!!!

Good morning Gentlemen, I was the one who dubbed it the Nate Cinematic Universe (NCU) in your comments. "Why" was originally a single track released between the "Perception" album and "The Search" Album. It was our teaser before the next album. I believe that this video, in the NCU, is a collective of ponderings in his head, before he goes out to perform. This is the first time we see Nate paint the fake "Joker smile" on himself (we saw him paint it on masks in Therapy Session). People consistently told him to smile more and he got tired of it when he felt the way he does about himself and life. We see keys painted on the wall. Also, "Texas", "Why", "Lies", and other clues appear. Nate said, "I wish that I could think like Big Sean does, but I just can't decide if I should stick my knife inside of Pennywise." This is a shout out to Big Sean, as be had a studio album, prior to this, called "I Decided." Also, NF emulates Big Sean and Drake in many of these flow switch ups. He literally says, "This isn't Nate's flow." I think that's a double entendre, as he is paying homage to Big Sean, but also, his thoughts are taking over and running this song with his internal dialogue winning. Finally, we see the bench at the end. This is the same bench that we see in the next track, "The Search." He whispers, "Too many faces", because it's him coping with first coming onto the stage and the "dangerous thoughts" in his head. This is also the first time we were ever introduced to the black balloons, originally.

Something super dope about the IT/Pennywise reference. So as we know NF has been battling with an inner secondary personality that is manifested as Fear, we see it time and time again from Mansion to Intro III. Now we also know pennywise feeds off fear. If we were to put 2 and 2 together that same bar is in reference to killing (his) Fear.

Hope you do all of this album, they are all relevant. Not a single bad song.

You would think that Perception would be the turning point in Nat’s mental battles (intro 3), but based on what I’ve heard he bottomed out between Perception and The Search (which is reflected in the album). He started real therapy and started working through his stuff. Keep in mind the Mixed tape is not critical to the Journey but reflects a healthier Nat. Not sure if the official Journey includes the Mix Tape, but it’s a great in between project with a lot of great NF material. Please do the whole album!

You have to remember he had his breakdown and had to get help and Thearpy for the first time before The Search. He also gets married and moves himself and most of his family to Nashville. He also became independent and left his label. BIG life changes, and he is searching......

No other Artist CAN do what he does, his beats are so Fire and creative you can listen and KNOW that he puts Work in his Craft. Im 56 yrs young and I've lived in NYC in the early 80s but I'm from South Los Angeles California and to decide not to Curse and follow the Stupidity is Ballsy and to make music ( Great Music) from your Personal life and do it where everything Connects from 4 Albums is Brilliant. His Mediphores are crisp and his Cadence (S) And flow switches are Thought out. His use of the Choir sounds are uncanny and He Directs, Produce, Edits, Writes, Most of his Videos he has 90% on how it will look. Many reactors have done the NF journey, but for many of them it's very clear that they don't actually listen to NF ever again outside of the reactions. It's very cool that you guys are clearly genuine fans of NF.

The song Leave Me Alone has a call back to "No Name" - You might want to listen to that before and also Leave Me Alone song is a continuation of the Search video. It might be an even better song than The Search. As far as the NF Journey and only a few have done it. That is not true at all! Thousands of people have gone thru the journey. Almost every reactor with over 500,000 subs started their channel with the NF Journey. Most big reactors have done it, : Stevie Knight, GotErnest, Brad and Lex, Got Games, Dev Lethal, and there is this really good NF Journey called Rykerroad. So, honestly as a NF Journey addict, I can say there are 3 to 4 new ones starting every week. Some drop off, but a lot finish. But very few are as fun as you guys! We are loving every minute of it.

I love the search, but i always go back to perception. A LOT of channels go on the journey! I've found a ton of reactors because of it Warm Up was kinda the intro to the search, it was released right before the album.

I find myself to generally enjoy newer NF - the newer the better - maybe that's because of the production quality? (Which is sky-high holy...) I struggle to pin down favourites, but some I really fell in love with (which might not all be on "the Journey") are; Perception; - 10 Feet Down - My Life. The Search; - The Search - Change - My Stress - Only - Let Me Go (this one is so hard to me, 2nd verse 11/10). Clouds; - Clouds - Just Like You - Drifting. If you don't go through some of those in your journey - PLEASE REACT TO THEM! Very interesting beats, tempos and... just the way he words things.
