There are so many parts on that, wheels, rims, tires probably still good, breaks shocks a whole top end, rear shock, swing arm is probably good, so many internal motor components, tripe trees, maybe a bottom end there is so much more you can get out of that bike, a rebuild is even possible bro, please just get it towed out and take it back home

It was dangerous to go at night. It's a cliff. You should have gone early thing in the morning with a truck to load everythin on. Keep on rebuilding stuff and riding on a track!

In Europe (in the Netherlands for sure) insurance only pays the bikes value minus the wreck value. In this case you could easily loose €3000. And since you documented exactly what was left of the bike, this is not to hard to calculate. Plus you as the owner are responsable for salvaging the wreck out of nature. If a ranger (or European version of that) finds it and have the authorities salvage it you'll be presented the bill. And probably a fine for environmental damage. I've seen this practice before, mostly in deserted areas, but I don't understand how you can leave a corpse like that polluting the dessert and think it will clean up itself.

Great to see you walk away, I have riding buddies that had almost identical accidents, some minor injuries, some months/years of recovery. At the end of the day it's just a bike. I went from pit bikes to dirt bikes, to scooters then sport bikes now back to MX. Love to see young guys doing their bike thing. Nice recovery btw. Whats next Isurance claim? on to the next R1M maybe. Ive had several Yamahas like the R1, R6 and my bro has the 50th anniversary R1 to this day.

It seems like CJ is starting to become a little reckless. Driving 150mph on a highway at night isn't cool. Apparently, nothing was learned from the near fatal crash a few hours prior. I subscribed to this channel because of the rebuilds, not this squid-life junk. Not a fan of the direction this channel is moving toward.

I thought the footage looked like Arizona. Was the crash site at Salt River Canyon? There’s no way I hell I would go to the crash site at night, especially on two wheels in minimum gear. The potential for disaster is HIGH!

At 0:13 was that gravel? The way the rear end went out, looks like what would happen if you hit gravel or sand? The rear went out all of a sudden, no warning. If it was gravel or sand, there was nothing you could have done, no matter what street bike you were on. Glad you are safe.

Id make an entire series of recovery and rebuild. It can be done and youd probably save several several thousands over getting another. Buy it back from insurance and get a clean title R1 frame from someone. Boom, done

The meter is only $1200. They do have different part numbers but whats weird is you can switch it by holding diwn select and reset then turn the key on and keep holding the buttons. This is how you enter diagnostic mode. But the first selection you can change it over to the ohlins settings. I tried it on mine. When i turn the key on it flashes the ohlins splash screen.

@@moton8tion866 yes, you'd need a professional welder to cut out and weld in new pieces at the crunched sections. But it would be doable.. That exhaust system is so beautiful with its titanium blue color. Even if it cannot be used I'd just hang it on my wall, as a memory

My first time on this page, and this is random but... just looking at the first 20 videos on the top of this page, the titles either say WRECKED or CRASHED or STOLEN, or something to that effect. You should have rent a tow truck with a winch to pull up the bike… you can salvage the rims, frame, engine, forks.. pretty much the whole bike and make it a trackbike.
