We just went to Egypt and had the same experience. We were completely blown away with scale and the beauty. Can’t understand how people actually built these structures

What day of the week were you there? Ive read mixed reviews that Friday-sundays are full crowds of people. We are planning to be there the first 2 weeks in February.
The Actual Pyramids used to be white and smooth. That layer of skin broke off over thousands of years., you can see it in the middle pyramid (khafres) on top.
Definitely go to Egypt! We didn't come across scammers, but you'll have your fair share of eager individuals hoping to sell you stuff. It wasn't as bad as many other countries we've been to though.
The blocks of rock were square when the pyramids were built. However standing in the Giza Plateau and getting sandblasted by 55 mph winds for 5000 years, most of which it was completely uncared for and not maintained can do that to.a structure.
Please do not talk about Egypt in front of the West this way Egypt and one Christian and Muslims Coptic civilization and Pharaonic civilization and Islamic civilization 1 in Egypt There is no difference between the Egyptians
