That the amount of money for charging that is represented to us by any electric vehicle is also little bit more a marketing play than it actually is...buying a new vehicle with all same specs engine and electric the costs for everything including 1 year of driving it the costs are same or in some cases electric being 300-500 euros/dollars cheaper and that is because your country offered grants of 3-5k for electric, green vehicle...without the grant the costs of an electric vehicle will be more than the engine/gas vehicle....So stark varg brand new is 13k with a battery that will need to be changed, buy a new one that will cost like 5-7k around every 3-5 years youll need to get a new battery, plus additional issues that you wont have services for it, people who can fix them like you have mechanics, and you wont have lot of models and variations to choose from as you have today...Engine vehicles, bikes even if they cost around the same, it is lot more easier for every one because you can split large amounts for repairs into more smaller, meaning now one stuff, next month another and after that one another (hope you can understand what Im saying, wrote here, as I am not that good at english)...As from costs a love elctric vehicles all over, and missing the sound and everything else doesnt bother me, i like them more, they are more lighter lot more lighter, more powerfull, like speed of delivering that power is lot more better and faster than the other, you dont have stuff like engine blocking, oil, ect ect, which can be tricky for some type of offroad driving, perfoirmace overall is lot better, they have crazy additional modes and crazy additional modes can be added that were not possible and those modes can be managed and be done even as not experienced or a professional driver because electric vehicles are lot more stable, have lot more control with the ground and are lot more responsive than non electric, example like RIMAC exotic car in a class with bugati, lambo, and other have a drift mode, so imagine being able to control and drift a lambo or ferrari or bugatti, imagine what everything else can be added if you have option like this which wasnt available with other vehicles...

So like the tesla this one will mainly i guess produce batteries because this type of batteries and the one like tesla have are not available in that sizes from factories in china, thailand, india ect ect...thats why they built the batteries in house from which will probably be the most of their profit...I may also be wrong about it a lot...I am guessing this as this is what lot of companies been doing are doing it and will be doing it...again I would definately getting one for sure, in a couple of years or so :) ps. I am also afraid that stuff like this may raise the prices of bikes overall, like 4T did when they took over 2T...that move got the prices up pretty much good too..

Yes that's how a pre order on a new product works. Good to see you understand the concept. Dealers have ordered them. Shipments are going out. It's an amazing product for the money. Personally I know over 20 people who are preparing to buy one within the next 2 years. Go watch one eat up 450s on track racing. These bikes will save moto x at the club level. The lack of noise will stop tracks being shut down as housing closes in around them. Absolutely brilliant.

@@VenomRoadRacing you may have not realized that my comment is a full 1 year old and still deliveries are very few. Hype is down a lot already, with big concerns on range. Still, that is not how real pre-orders work, and in fact they are just now being ordered. I love the bike but reality is reality and word have precise meaning. Like "idiot.

In an interview or promo vid he mentioned they are planning other off and on road bikes. Not just moto.

They most likely won't exist by that point - they will be burning through whatever VC cash infusions they have for a market that isn't there.

They haven't sold anything - it's all small deposits on a wait list which you can back out of. Every EV company does this these days so they can spew out numbers to make it look like they actually did sell. They do this for a quick cash infusion as well. It is fake metrics and these guys are going to get blown out of the water when they run out of money.

The whole dirtbike industry currently sells 1 to 1.4 Million dirtbikes a year depending on the source. Rhis includes Enduro, Motocross, Cross Country, Trials, Trail and Farm bikes. About 60% of those are below 150cc. KTM is the largest single producers at around 300K, By Comparison Yamaha ships about 100k Units. Vaarg producing 150k a year, when they only make a bike that covers Moto, Enduro and Cross Country... at a Higher price than all competitors, with less range, that doesn't Cover small bore sized bikes is EXTREMELY OPTIMISTIC if hes thinking about the near future. Hope thats part of his 20 Year plan

Agreed, I think this is all snake oil/scam.

This is how the whole EV world is and as it has shown these companies all get blown out of the water trying to use Tesla's method. Tesla only works because of the hypetrain surrounding Elon and his company was on the verge of bankruptcy many times and only survived by selling carbon credits and taking in every possible government subsidy (ironically he wants those to stop now so competition can't use that method). These guys aren't innovating (it's all Alta tech) and are throwing out ridiculous numbers that we already know is wrong.

Assuming it would be a positive. A software upgrade instead of a brand new designed bike can be a big selling point. And if it works well, why not buy another one in the future?

@@jaredweed5060 Jared, I was posing the question as to the bike being so good & software updates + no major hard parts to wear out, motor wise, if they are worried or wondering about building this great big new factory & then having a sales drop off & slump after the initial purchase wave has flattened out & there is not a lot of OTHER REASONS to HAVE to buy a new bike every year or two, SINCE THEY ARE SO GOOD, if that might leave a large group of people & a large factory not being required anymore?

@@vmcmark7578 new technology adaption follows a bell curve. It might seem like a lot of interest in it now but that is just a drop in the bucket once the majority of riders see how much better electric is, then absolutely everyone will want one, but that probably won't be for 5 years. A majority of dirt bike riders are still against electric, but that will change and they will sell even more bikes.

Range has to be conquered first, before any MAJOR SHIFT can occur in the ""OFF-ROAD"" market & at that point I CAN SEE a very huge demand for those units in way higher numbers. Until that goal is met, I think there could be a lag in the demand for the MOTOCROSS ONLY units that he is gearing up for. I did hear another clip today that he stated street bikes are in the workings as well & with that info, his larger output factory doesn't worry me as much since he plans to build other types of units he can keep the people & machines pumping out the goods.

The reason we still use Chains on dirtbikes is as follows; They are considerably Cheaper. They are considerably lighter. they are very easy to service. They absorb shock loads very well. They transfer between acceleration and deceleration very easily. Drive Ratios can easily be changed to adapt to your riding needs. Shaft drives are already heavy and expensive a Carbon Fiber shaft drive would be comparative in weight at best ... but be exponentially more expensive. Not to mention that any possible reoair costs would be astronomical. Dirtbikes take a beating, that's a big reason why they still use simple components

@@tonyornelas9374 Not just the lithium but every other finite resource that is needed for EV's. Copper, cobalt, rare earth magnets, etc, etc, nothing is green about the extraction and processing of these.

Totally agree. At 60 kW power and a 6 kWh battery it will last 6 minutes at full throttle (and I doubt it can sustain that power). A gas bike with similar power and 6 liters of gas should last upwards of 20 minutes WOT.

Same engine and battery as the Alta - we already know what these can do for numbers and they fall short of his sales spiel.
