My wife and I are friends of Jeesely and her husband, they are truly inspiring, sincere and an amazing couple. We always look forward to seeing what they are up to and living vicariously through their adventures.
Thank you for having me on. The conversations on this podcast are so thoughtful and the questions are so great and insightful. I’m thankful to have been a part of these conversations. I hope I inspire others to take that leap in whatever their dreams are. Life should be lived!!! Now go all to touch some grass. 😊
I loved watching/listening to this episode. Jeesely’s story is so interesting and what an adventure it must be to travel the country and have the experiences she and her husband and son are having. The part of the conversation about being so attached to our possessions really hit home and has me giving more thought to buying “stuff” versus creating memories. Thank you both for an awesome episode!
We did vanlife for over 6 years, cross country travels many times, and then we became pregnant with our daughter, continued vanlife until third trimester, birthed her at home (free birth accidentally), moved back across the country with our three month old road trip style, and we are now itching to build a bus and continue living nomadic so that she can be exposed to lots of culture, people, and experiences ❤.
Started off by just listening to this while doing chores but then decided to watch bc I just loved the energy of your guest. With so many ppl now either doing the tiny home thing or living the van life, I've become a fan myself. Don't know if I wld ever live the lifestyle myself but it's fun to live vicariously through others. As always, this was yet one more episode I thoroughly enjoyed listening to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SO many touching stories in this episode!! The Grand-ma spiritual visit to Niagara Fall is GIANT! As to attachment to things, now I know I can deal with "non emotional zones" like kitchen - bathroom - bedroom. I find the other rooms, like living and dining rooms so hard to handle... these are the places I stock emotional objects, I know I have a lot of trouble getting rid of things when they are associated to people who passed away. It's really like losing them again. Thank you for this inspiring episode !!!!
Lucie I am loving the podcast! But as a fellow mom who got ultra sick during pregnancy I can’t help but wonder how you got through these podcasts while so sick!! Well done! 👏🏻
oh my God I just saw your incontinence commercial congratulations! Sounds like you need a pelvic floor therapist like they do in other countries after birth and is seriously lacking from womens care in US!
Loved this episode! The story truly is inspiring is so many ways! I can relate to literally every word said in the beginning - attachment to things, routine life, etc.- and it is so great to realize that it actually is possible to change your life for the best and live it to the fullest. Made me smile after a long hard day. I enjoy listening to this podcast a lot - there's always something interesting, educational and positive! Already recommended it to all my friends👍 Bravo to both guest and host!
