Myself l need a free day to come here and tell my story on being in the church led by a prophet.l wasted six years of my life worshiping that prophet,you get to a level of worshipping him because he tells you everything you do not have a decision of your own......my brothers and sisters these mega churches of prophets are a trap of the devil.God pulled me out of that church late 2016 but up to today lam still fighting the spiritual attacks from that church they declared l will die but lam still alive,God fights for his .lam from Zimbabwe l have a lot to tell the congregants about these charlatans

Thank you for this. Many people are being abused spiritually without knowledge. The worst part is, it drains you,with hope that something will change but to no avail. I was once a victim. Nowadays I trust in God alone to be author of my life and faith. GOD is no respector of persons but of your faith in him. Let's be woke guys!! Spiritual predators are on the loose to seek their next prey.

The time we shall learn to read the word of God and fully understand it is when we shall be liberated from falsehood. May God help us.

Martha - thanks for telling us your story. I find it very sad that many women focus on being a submissive wife without reading the Bible to find out what the obligations are for the husband. The burden should not be only on the wife which seems to be the case in these types of relationships. People do not read the Bible themselves but just wait for instructions from the pastor. This is how we get cheated…

One thing that i learned from charismatic churches is until one comes to a place of saying enough is enough, this cycles can really go on for a very long period of time n before you know you've wasted your time, resources and the baggage of clearing the brain wash takes the hand of God..(story of my life).

Some christians have simply refused to read and study the bible...people are always waiting to hear from the man/woman of God.....with this kind of attitude we will continue falling victims

Charity begins at home....you cannot give what you don't have ....I am very skeptical of these "men/women of God".....enriching themselves by swidling people with word of God .....true Christianity is taking care of those without orphans and widows ....not enriching lazy people

i really like the way we are adopting the culture of therapy we dont know all the answers we dont understand the complexities of mental health especially personality disorders there is a lot knowledge about behaviors of human beings that we dont understand and we cant learn any of without professional help this is why therapy is there to help us navigate this things.

A sign of a bitter person is someone who interferes with other people's lives. A toxic person is someone who puts others down and gossips negatively about others. That is the definition of a toxic bitter person.

I'm really a christian full full know the truth of the word of God which sets me free from the slavery of sin.The problem is this nowadays is that those who call themselves men/women of God tricking people that do this and you will be blessed. We have to be careful of those.

Martha you are a strong woman. Your story is so touching. People should be careful by trying to question some things which seem abnormal.

Its easy to assume people in these situations are naive but you must understand emotional and spiritual manipulation are a big factor in this. Also threats of hell and death in the family or yourself if you rebel. In the beginning its always green pastures and with time it all unfolds slowly. You feel stuck and sees the world only through heaven lens. People in these situations need someone to speak sense into them just like partner A's fiance. These so called spiritual fathers and mothers intend to have the final say in these situations. Please just pray for everyone under spiritual abuse to be set free.

This is happening in my family, we have a prophetess in the family doing her thing and a well paid professional giving out all his cash to a certain Bishop. God please come through 🙏

Dada, read the word everyday even if it's a verse. Sing praises to the Lord everyday. If u have to sell everything, pray for that money and talk to God what you need in life then go help the orphans, street children/homeless, disabled and the more needy and less fortunate (cause that is where Jesus presense is ) do not take that money to church. What u r supposed to take to church is tithe which is 10% of ur salary/income (which is used for charity work by the church as the word directs), offering(sadaka to run the church) and covenant with God (money/provisions) at the alter as Moses did. You make an agreement with God to help u/provide for you/protection for your family and this is between you and God in reference to the word from the Bible and only when you're guided by Holy Spirit to do so (can be done once in a year or as ur directed by Holy Spirit), thanks giving as David did- this one u take it to the church. Also do contributions when church requires to be done. That's for running church programmes/activities. But majorly read the word, pray with the word and agree with the word which is bless the less fortunate and do it knowing ur investing in heaven not earth. Ur prayers will be answered and generations blessed. Do not depend on pastors, some will take advantage of u and kill ur spiritual growth.

The word of God is our handbook, our constitution as Christian's. It remains the same, yesterday, today and forever. It doesn't change to conform to a person's desire. God only asks for 10% of what we earn, never does he demand for 50% unless it's what we wish whole heartedly. The word of God approves of wisdom and reproaches foolishness. Proverbs is a good book in this regard. These popular new age preachers are to be approached with caution .

My God this story is very very deep, I can't imagine what people are going through because of this devils calling themselves men/women of god. So selfish people. It is very sad to see people being tormented by evil women or men of god. You went through a lot my dear. But God is good all the time. He will restore you back where you are supposed to be

This is spiritual gullibility that many women find themselves in and don't know how to get out from. The Bible is so clear God only asks for 10% tithe and no more than that. This is many women's story. Especially the single women.

My people perish for lack of knowledge says God, if only we can study the word of God and not rely only on our pastors to preach to us ,let’s take time and go back to the word and research by our own like the church of Bereans that Paul has full praises for .

I once had a neighbor who was sucked into a ministry like that. They gave him a position in the "church" and all the salary went there to the point there was no food in his house. Useless idiots cheating people in the name of God. Name and shame them please.
