In this vlog, my sister and I are staying with a Sri Lankan family in their home in Habarana, Sri Lanka, and learning about how they live. We'll cook with the family, explore their incredible garden, and get to know them. Then we're off to hike to Sigiriya, an ancient fortress atop a breathtaking mountain, and finally we go on an elephant safari to see the wild elephants of Sri Lanka in their natural habitat!

Doug, these vlogs from Sri Lanka are truly amazing. We love your enthusiasm for this tear-drop island. So, would you please visit the north and give us your visions of places such as Jaffna? Most RU-vidrs do NOT go to Jaffna or any of the areas of the north. To really do justice to Sri Lanka and to understand its complexities, you and your sister must visit Jaffna. To not vlog from there is a bit like going to England and visiting just London and a few surrounding areas! And I know you wouldn't do that. We are really looking forward to your vlogs from Jaffna, Killinochi, Chavachcheri, Varany, Uduvil and many other neglected parts of this island with a heartbreaking history.

I recommend you to have ride to kandy by train. If you love to experience all the different claimates in sri lanka in one ride abuot in 10 or 11 hours. Also it will be a cheapest way of traveling in sri lanka. Love you guys. Also come again to visit sri lanka.
