LOVE that you prioritize picking up your trash! In our State lots of territory is being closed off to dispersed camping due to littering by campers.

We were fortunate enough to have ten days in Utah and found Goosenecks state park which is magnificent. People congregate around the Grand Canyon, but when you see the other scenery such as Bryce Canyon, Valley of the Gods etc, you realise just what majesty there is in your lands.

My 2 favorite overlanding families together in Epic Utah?!? So awesome!

It is funny, growing up and living in Utah I see these places often. Love them. I know it is beautiful, but to me, it is just...home. 🙂 Great video.

I camped there last week. Perfectly still and calm winds, it was a sound night of sleeping.

Hey...at least you caught your drone. My first (and maybe last) experience with a drone ended badly. Practiced around my house without any problems for weeks. Finally went on a journey and decided to get the drone out. Got it up several hundred feet and asked it to return....it flew off into the sunset never to be seen again! Luckily it was just a moderately expensive drone.

What incredible scenery! What's most enjoyable though is all your chatter and interactions. Would love to visit this area some day...

I almost lost my drone in Lost Canyon outside of Moab. I had it over the canyon when the display died, but the remote still worked so I could bring it back to the road and land it. And you just answered a question I had about the Turtleback. I wondered if you were going to sell it.

I definitely I would have made the same decision pulling a trailer. That refried snow would have given the trailer a hard way to go. Without the trailer and having multiple vehicles to tug against, it would have been on!

Would u recommend a turtle back? We are a family of 4 and enjoy overlanding. Right now have a truck with roof top tent but annoying to tear down every night. In this video u mentioned getting rid of your turtle back. Why is this?

I've never been there but I know where you guys camped. Not the exact location but the area. I done so much research while planning future trips into Utah that I know the whole area you were in from the dinosaur quarry to the canyon and beyond. Finally, after a few years of struggling I'm starting to have the resources to make these trips beginning with Dinosaur National Monument in mid May. I can't wait to stretch my range down into central and southern Utah. I've pored over Google Earth and watched videos late into the night until my eyes were so blurry I couldn't see clearly and had to sleep. I feel like I already know much of the state. Now it's time to see it all for real.
