Somehow Chillin evolved Feebas with a prism scale, one of the hardest evolutions and Quick is just sitting there with two unevolved pokemon he could have evolved easily! Snom= soothe bell level up + change Switch's time to night. Togepi = Soothe bell level up using large amounts of exp candy you can easily find. Also, switch training.
its not too hard if u have a feebas in this gen since u can get the prism scale in the pond at magnolias house (if u have the water bike its in the far right in the top of the pond
QuickGG, for future reference, you can bring Pokémon to the campground and feed them high end curry to increase friendship drastically! You can also pair it with held items that boost friendship for very quick work!
You guys should do a generation challenge. 9 files and tell the other guy what generation that pokemon is from. 3 skips. An example is charizard is gen 1 and u tell the other guy gen 1
@@QuickGG Hey Quick, I know it's a bit away, but you should do an April fools joke on Chillin... Do a gen 3 'randomizer' challange. However you just build some pokémon for you team. Then put a sableye with wonder guard on your team (Wonder guard is shedinja's ability, so he can only be hurt by super effective moves, however in gen 3 sableye has no weaknesses. Weather effects (Hail sandstorm) and status effect (Poison, burn, hurt in confusion) can still damage him though, but it is nearly impossible to get him down, for second pokémon put a shedinja with sturdy (sturdy leaves pokémon at 1 hp if he would've been 1 hit KO's, but shedinja only has 1 hp so 1hp=full hp, again weather and status can still kill it, but normal damage can't) I think this will be hilarious as a April fools joke. (maybe remove this comment once you read it, or Chillin might see it.)
@@Piranhamatt Since it's a reandomizer he could give it recover and heal bell? That would basically make him undefeatable since weather alone would never kill quickly...
You really should have evolved Togepi. It's not that hard. Use the camp, play with it a bit, give it some curry, then just walk around with it in Isle of Armor or Crown Tundra, and you would have gotten high friendship in like 10 minutes. Then use a Shiny Stone to get Togekiss. Also for Snom, you could have changed your Switch timing to night time. You missed out on two very good Pokemon that might have turned things around for you.
Friendship evolution: Put in starting spot switch battle 10 times/battle 10 times with sooth bell Poke camp play with Pokémon. Make a silver dinner in camp Foreword time on switch 24 hours. Repeat process 1 more time. Friendship will be 4 stars
Id say roughly a quarter of pokemon names in german is the same as english. Actually, pretty much every legendary has the same as in english (except for the gen 1 birds and gen 5s justice and sky trios)
@@TehFeature because of that it took me years to notice that the gen.1 legendary birds have the first three spanish numbers at the end of their names..
Quick - friendship evos are so much easier now in swsh. Just do like five minutes in the camping with cooking and playing with them and they are good to go, buddy!
IDK. I think it was because it was a friendship evolution. But Quick is kind of dumb and thought not to use a soothe bell or to just spam level up candies like how I would have...I'm not sure he knew what to do. I was wondering the same.
An idea for a challenge... -Predict encounter- 1.) At the start, assign 6 take, and 3 skips to numbers 1-9. Example: 1. Take 2. Take 3. Skip 4. Take 5... 2.) Then do an encounter in the wild, if you write "take" in your first encounter then no matter what kind of pokemon it is you must take it. And if you write "skip", then no matter what that pokemon it would be even if it is a legendary you must skip it... *You can also spice things up by adding "Give" aside from "take" and "skip". Give - no matter what kind of pokemon it would be, you must give it to your opponent... - i'm new to your channel and i am really enjoying your videos... Have been binge watching your vids since monday...
@@kingg3122 not in sw and sh. You see Deponitox evolved from unratütox. And that is not the English name. Milotic is also the German name for that Pokémon.
You've probably already had 18,000 people in your comments say this already, but for future reference, you can actually in sword and shield get friendship evolutions to happen very quickly. If you have a boatload of any of those rare berries that in their description say that they lower a specific stat, you can actually feed the pokemon a bunch of them all at once and just level it up once to the same effect as a max friendship evolution. Might save you some hassle in future videos to know! Good as always, watching your battles is always entertaining. (You typically will find these berries on the trees that are in secluded locations you don't necessarily have access to in the early game, like something you need boat bike for.) To get maximum numbers of them, you can pay attention to the tree. It will either not shake when you shake it, shake slightly at a slow pace, or start shaking faster than before. Once it starts shaking faster, you can guarantee almost the next tree shake will be a pokemon encounter, so if you pay attention you can always get the maximum number of berries you're going to! I hope these little tips help and aren't a huge repeat of stuff you've already heard. Keep making good content!
Do it like gym leaders do, pick a type and only catch/train that type You could do the same type and see what the teams look like, or you could choose your own type If you pick your own types, you both have to pick your type before telling the other your type, so one doesn't pick a super effective
Love the challenge vs videos guys!! My idea for a challenge vs video: you each get to choose 6 Pokemon that you've used on your respective teams in previous videos. Not exactly catching Pokemon in the wild, but would be a great way to see how you'd each build a team. No legends allowed, just the most OP Pokemon you've used in previous challenges. Make it happen (please)!!
Exactly... MOST countries don't translate Pokémon names, but I don't think they understand that. And what if they get a pokemon traded from Australia or South Africa? Are they not foreign since they also speak English? These guys have a very Americanized understanding of what foreign means lmao
@@thsimpsonsguy I agree with you, but have to defend them a little by saying that it would be hard for them to know if english Pokemon came from other country, as it doesn't say that anywhere in Pokemon information. It will tell them who originally owned that Pokemon but nothing beyond that. So, for them to limit it this way, makes it more simple.
@@thsimpsonsguy haha for sure. in south afrika most people do speak english. but their prime language is afrikaans. its kinda sounds like a combi of dutch and english.
@@thsimpsonsguy yup, in Russia all pokemon names are just english pokemon names spelled with russian letters. A lot of people that don't really know english just miss out on all those beautiful little puns that most names have :/
Challenge idea: catch/starter pokemon but have the following "lifelines": . 2x evolve pokemon but no move changes . 2x no evolve but can teach moves through leveling . 2x skip pokemon, but can't use lifeline on next pokemon All lifelines must be used by the end
A few things: 1. where the hell did Chillin get a Lapras? it was not traded to him, he was supposed to use an Altaria how come that's became a Lapras? 2. If you get a baby Pokemon from a foreign country and you evolve it in your game the name will be changed to your own language which means if you get a Magikarp that is foreign and your game in English when you evolve it it will become a Gyarados with the english name and not the foreign name. 3. if you get a foreign baby Pokemon that got a name change and then you evolve it, the name would not change and it will keep its foreign name and you would not be able to change it. that means that even if it's got named the exact same name of the species in another language it will stay with that name even if you evolve it so a Magikarp in Japanese will still be called a Magikarp in Japanese even if you evolve it into a Gyarados in an English game. 4. some species stay the same name in multiple language so a German Feebas which have a different name will be evolving into Milotic and because German Milotic is still named Milotic. 5. Pikachu being the mascot of the game is named Pikachu in almost all of the languages, the same goes to Eevee, so no matter what you need to check it.
@@elizasArt- that's the point, Chilln didn't get a Lapras he got an Altaria that he didn't use the for some reason and it was switched into Lapras while QuickGG did get a Lapras but it was not foreign so what the hell I'm trying to understand what is going on.
Well Deponitox evolved from Unratütox... And it isnt the English name ^^ In Sw and Sh they keep the names from the country they came from. Milotic is also Milotic in German. :)
i think that i am speaking for many viewers if i say that a video where you either imitate the cries of pokemons, or just pick pokemons by hearing their cries would be really hilarious to watch. especially because you two are really entertaining :). btw i rarely ever comment, so i hope its worth it ;)
@QuickGG Jeroen is a Dutch name, meaning that Toxel was from the Netherlands. You could've used it considering we don't have different names for Pokemon in Dutch.
I am american and I use names in different languages for my pokemon. Just because it has a dutch name doesn't mean that's where it came from. My mom has a "french" name that became a "black" name, but she is neither french nor black. Also if you looked, it doesn't matter if the person was actually dutch, because the actual original owner of the toxel (which you can see in the video) is named Evan, what one would consider a very english name.
Everytime I come home from work. I always check RU-vid to see if chillinplay or QuickGG have uploaded any new vids and it always makes my day when they do! c:
Challenge Idea: Dupes Clause! Rules: - Only Catch 1 Pokemon per route - Only catch the first Duplicate you see Add whatever gen and skips you wanna use. I think it would be fun!
Jeroen is also my name, and that is dutch (netherlands) we dont use dutch names for pokemon. We actually use the english names. But they do come from a different country for your information ;) Movies are original here too, so no lame lip movements when translated. We got subtitles for that. But there you go, in the netherlands, we actually use the english names.
2 video ideas! 1: Determine a maximum/minimum base stat total and only choose Pokémon above/below that total. Would be a cool way to get a fairly even match and you guys could make it only beefy or baby mons. 2: Predetermine a set of pokeballs to use (example: 2 master balls, 2 great balls, 2 pokeballs, or any other combo) and then go catch pokemon. You can only throw one ball per mon, keep it if you catch and run if you don’t. Once you successfully use one of the balls (or types of balls) in your predetermined set, you can’t use it anymore. No skips either! So maybe use a pokeball on a mon you don’t want and hope it doesn’t catch. Hope you like the ideas! Keep up the great content :)
I never played Gen 8 so I assumed Inteleon was a physical attacker with the set she had. I went back back to check the facts after that ending and it hurts to put it simply. WHY DO YOU LIKE TO LOSE SO MUCH QUICK, WHY!!!😭😭😭😂
I LOVE the daily uploads lately, keep it up fellas! Exactly 1 month until I have that sexy Blastoise and Charizard badge. You guys should definitely have 18 month and 24 month membership badges or else what am I working towards?
You guys should have a random number generator pick a number that corresponds to an episode from the anime, and then you pick a member for your team that appeared in that episode (you could evolve it too, of course)
Now that you guys live together you should add stakes to these versus challenge videos. Loser vacuums the winners car, or does the dishes or something. Yall can come up with something better I'm sure. Pretty sure that alone could be a second channel lol
Love all your videos! But the latest randomized sword and shield are especially great! Would love to see you battle it out only getting the chance to get 1 pokemon from each gen, so having a set time limit to catch the different pokemon or just catching the first pokemon you see from the 1st gen, then afterwards the 1st pokemon from 2nd gen and so on. With a few skips of course! I know there are like 8 gens, but a battle with as many different gen pokemons as possible would be awesome!
Battle idea: Counter Tactics 1. Each catch any 3 pokemon, any moves, and evolved. 2. Show each other those pokemon and all the info. 3. Then go out and each catch 3 more pokemon to "counter" the other. (or just overpower it). 4. Fight!
I the next vid. you guys select 6 pokemon. THE rules are :- 1.RANDOM STARTER 2.NO SKIPS 3.OPPONENT select two types, if any of the starters have those two types ,you cant have it. 4.If there are MORE THAN ONE starter left you can chose after seeing its stats. 5.If no pokemon is available, then try again. 6.you can ban the same type of pokemon of opponent once in the vid.
can you do a type challenge all you pokemon muste heve the 1 of ther 1or 2 types of the same type. exaple: you hove only grass pokemon or only water pokemon. and have the type chosen bye the furst pokemon you com ecros
I know Quick should've evolved his Pokemon, while Chillin somehow did a trade evo... but more important question: What happened to Chillin's Altaria (19:00)?
You guys should do a spin the wheel pokemon battle. And in this battle you spin the wheel and whatever pokemon type it lands on you have to catch and use
