I used to watch always open, but I had gone through a really bad hearbreak of unrequited love a year and a half ago. This show was the thing that made me make up my mind and ask him out, and after being rejected, I just couldn't watch the show anymore. I feel like I have finally grown strong enough to finally watch it again. Thank you guys for always being lovely and I'm glad I am back

Regarding meeting new people and people meeting you, I was lucky enough to tour your facility yesterday and met you four, though Mariel was busy so I just said a quick hi, but all of you and everyone else were so humble and genuine and approachable that it really relieved the anxiety of meeting you all who I'm such a huge fan of. I've met other celebrities and it's always such an awkward encounter because of their persona or just feeling like they don't want to be there, but you guys were all so kind and friendly and I appreciated it so much. It was truly an incredible experience that I will always remember. Thank you for everything you all do.

Guess I'm watching always open now. Better to start late than never.

I'm turning 21 this September... So what I got from this episode is that I've got a long couple years ahead of me with lots of pain and heartbreak.

Mariel's story about the stuffed animal hit me in the feels. I have a toy duck that was a present from the last Easter before my dad passed away as a child. I'm not an emotional person but I would probably cry as much as Mariel if anything ever happened to it.

Mariel is honestly just one of the most adorable human beings on the planet.

Always a little weird to hear "old" stories of relationships that ended 10 or 12 years ago from people around their 30's. Being 33 and never having had a relationship it's weird to think about that 12 year 'gap'. Being single is fine, but it's still a little strange to have missed something so normal

I can relate to Mariel’s story with the stuffed animal. I have a stuff dog that I got at the age of about three and I still have it. Other then the 11 years I was married, this dog has been on my bed every night. I have had this dog for almost 31 years.

my experience with heartbreak happened almost 4 years ago now... it doesnt affect me emotionally anymore, like i dont stay up at night wondering what shes doing or anything. but psychologically its definitely left some lasting effects as far as making new relationships. because i agree with what barb says about how you realize that they werent the one, and that the next person youre with makes you realize how much the last person lacked. but unfortunately for me now there's this nagging voice in the back of my head that tells me theres always something theyre not telling me, or that there are things about them that bother me that im just not noticing because they are now the person im with. i dont know if i articulated this very well, it was more of a stream-of-consciousness type thing but i hope it made sense

Oh my gosh the snow storm one is sooo scary, five people and five pets driving through mountains with a snow whiteout to Alaska which took 11 days was the worst drive I’ve ever been apart of 😰

so I noticed the songs different, I'm sure people complained that it was too long and sure some might think that, but they might have also just came for the guest stars. not saying everyone else isn't a star that's not my point. My point is that yea maybe you can cut the song but you cut off the outro which is the best part and left the 4 bars of verse that doesn't build up or ANYTHING. (great song nonetheless) So if you wanted to change it I've come up with a different way. The long version of the song: 1 bar intro 4 bars verse 2 bars outro Short version: 1 bars intro 4 bars verse and oddly but not distasteful 1 four count of the outro. The version im suggesting: 1 Bar intro 2 Bars Verse 2 Bars outro Please take this into consideration! for and from music lovers everywhere!
