Well deserved fan-favourite. These guys are kings of the obscure drag records. Love the fact they continue to pursue push certain vehicles way past what anyone else is interested in doing and are always thinking way outside the box.
@@harley5252 than just say for the most part and leave out the “ all “ . The mr2 was tuned by fueltech and most of there cars run the same engine so tuning the cars themselves is easy for them. They don’t really need to do much besides turn up the boost and lean the car out .
bro she really loves 2nd gear. The way this thing comes to life and gets up in 2nd is so badass. You can really see her eyes light up and start to boogie after that 1-2 shift. So sick
Those 2nd gear pulls are violent! Need to get an alignment, strip the back seats out again and get the handbrake launch happening and she will indeed break into the 9's which is crazy...Rowdy Rodisey popper!!!

1st time viewer here. Definitely gonna subscribe to these guys, can you explain what a shift cut is? I did a quick Google with nothing back of relevance. I assume it's when the traction breaks between shifts as seen in the video, but is it specific to all wheel drives? I experienced a similar motion in front wheel drive vehicles before. Thanks

This would be a great 9.5 index Drag & Drive car. Could put a luggage pod on the roof for a merch tent, etc., leaving plenty of room inside for tools & tires. They did RMRW a few years ago with it, using a tailgate rack for fuel jugs. Who needs a trailer when you have a mini-van?

Get the Alignment sorted as well as the suspension. Maybe see if Jackstand can provide some suggestions for getting down the line without looking so out of control IMO.
They’re all over the place with torque management, they need to soften up the way the engine loads up the driveline/tires. Source: actual race car engineer.

Im the furthest thing away from a Honda fanyboy but i do like the build. Its out of the ordinary, hauls butt, and humiliates muscle/tuner cars in a freaking mini-van so thats pretty hilarious.
There is another 1000 HP Odyssey out there. It was on Hoonigan 6-7 years ago. Bisimoto build. I think it is front wheel drive. Don't recall hearing any 1/4 mile times, but 0-60 was 3.4 seconds IIRC.

Mini series on trying to make the van a bad ass drag week car. Strip it and use the van as the tool/parts hauler no need for a trailer if the vans gutted. Not like the vans a daily so who needs seats or interior. 😂
Hell yeah Kyle! A word of advice, your mic is super blown out when you talk. I know its a new setup so you're working on it, I'm not an expert but maybe turn up the gain so you have more dynamic range?
When your engine and trans are right. You should basically be focusing on where you clutch grabs and transfers to spin. Figure out exactly where you break loose and you got this!
He usually only uses the clutch to start the rip. The shifter has a strain gauge it retards the timing for a split second, just long enough to lower rpms to grab another gear! The second gear is ROWDY AS HELL Definitely a handful!! I don't remember if the trans is a four-speed only or if it is a 5 speed sequential. It definitely has a high 9, maybe a mid-9 in her easy! They need to lower the boost a little in second gear. He only gets
