I had this test done for an IBS Study in my state. The study was from September 2023 to December 2023. This test told me exactly what my body did not like and what foods I should avoid, as well as what foods I really had no reaction to that were "Green" for me. The results changed my life. After finding out about "yellow" and "red" category foods - wheat, asparagus, soybean, banana, maple, cheddar & american cheese, my whole life changed when I cut those out. I was no longer in the restroom for hours each week, no longer had horrible stomach cramps, and I've been able to live my life well.
When I did my MRT, I was suprised! Reds were wheat, sure; cow's milk, yep; rye, okay; and cherries. Cherries?? AYFKM? Chicken, cauliflower, mushrooms, and garbanzo were my high yellows. The best meat for me was beef and turkey :D It's wild!
Did she only react to foods she ate on a regular basis? If so does that necessarily mean it causes inflammation vs her system just recognizing foods she has eaten recently?
I took the mrt and man all of the foods that don’t cause me problems, well it said that it does causes me problems and the foods that I end up feeling sick after eating that do cause me problems, came out to be ok for me to eat them🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣like WTF!! It literally said I’m allergic to all normal animal protein such as turkey, chicken, beef and pork😂😂 so it wanted me to have a vegan diet, when my freaking functional medicine doctor and nutritionist both told me that I need to eat more animal protein, especially organ meat and now they’re telling me to be vegan and canola oil is ok for me to eat, even though I feel like shit when I use canola oil🤦🏻♀️
At first I thought the metronome (click track) had bled through on the music but then realized it was playing an occasional/varied clave pattern so it must just be that what they chose for that sounds exactly like the metronome on Reaper.
Zena here! Sarah recommends getting anything in your system you've been actively avoiding for good measure but it's unlikely they expect you to eat all 170 foods in the week leading up to the test. I can't think of the last time I had rainbow trout but it still registered as highly reactive so it seems to still know!
Hi John! We worked with a registered dietitian who ordered the test for us. You can find one by searching for "Certified LEAP" nutritionists in your area. Thanks!
