The bones and skin are very healthy for you and in canned salmon it just turns to powder when you eat it. It’s a great source of calcium. I want it in my canned salmon.
Canned salmon is great! However, you cannot compare Pink Salmon to Red Salmon. They are two totally different fish with totally different qualities. The flesh of the Pink is pink and the flesh of the Red salmon is the most RED of all salmon and trout. The Red's flesh is also much firmer and has a bigger flake than the Pinks. The diets of the Pink salmon is totally different from the Red's. Comparing Pinks to Reds, is like comparing Skipjack tuna to Mackerel.
@@HardeepSingh-dp8lh No, go for what you prefer. What bothers me about this video is that they play with the consumers knowledge of fish and fish names. "Salmon" are no all the same. "Tuna" are not all the same. Sockeye (aka. Red Salmon) and Pink (aka Humpies) are two totally different species of fish. As far as fish are concerned, it's like comparing an Albacore Tuna to a Bluefin Tuna, both flavor and texture and price. Albacore's flesh is white, and is drier. Bluefin's flesh is a dark red and is much more fatty and MUCH MORE expensive (never sold as canned tuna anymore due to price and demand). Personally, I prefer canned Red salmon over canned Pink salmon, but as the video de mention, the Red salmon is more expensive than the Pinks. Fresh frozen Red salmon is the Japanese market's favorite Salmon.
Rubensteins, redhead red salmon, double q, crown prince, safecatch, wild planet pink salmon all had positive reviews and the rest negative, very helpful
Mashed wrote: "In fact, we tried 13 canned salmon brands and this was the best!" lol Which one was "this"? The last one "Wild Planet" would be the most likely and it has no added salt although Mashed claims it does.
I like the Walmart salmon Chicken Of The Sea 5 oz boneless skinless pink. You don't need a can opener it has a pull open lid. Perfect for traveling. Combine it with Walmart 1 minute Brown Rice single serve and a Rico Single serve cheddar cheese, of course the spices Diced onions and garlic and others. Microwave in a soup bowl and you are eating healthier than any fast food.
I Love Canned Salmon I even like the skin & bone and make salmon patties with egg 🥚 and bread crumbs and onions 🧅 and garlic 🧄 pan fried I’ll even buy salmon fillets at Aldi’s
Rubenstein's is all we buy. I tried the Bumblebee is a pouch but won't do that again. Most of these I've never heard of & they're not available in the wilderness of NW CT.

I never had a sister. Have 2 brother’s one passed away in 2004 age 57 other is 7 years younger than Me. I have a Daughter I’ve never been allowed to know she is 48 years old and so rich and famous I had a Detective tell me I’ll be arrested if I go anywhere near her and he pulled out his rosaries 📿 and prayed that my daughter would come to me before it’s too late She was raised 4,474 miles Northwest of where I live since I was born
Happy to say I already buy wild planet prior to this. Just confirms I have good taste. I have a 200$ bottle of olive oil for sakes just to season my wagyu
I just buy a couple salmon fillets, and dice it up myself and make fresh salmon patties out of that. And I personally would never buy can salmon in which somebody included skin and bones! In my kitchen, those are by products and get flushed down the drain
