WIsh I could have seen the end results. I've just done my crust for a strawberry tart and it didn't come out well. The edges had sunk somewhat in to the tray and the base had lifted up.

how long did you let this defrost for? whenever i use this brand, and i unroll it, it keeps breaking into curvy sections. or it goes too soft and sticks to the parchment

This is Jus-Rol Chilled which is already soft and pre rolled when you buy it in the fridge section of the grocery store. It was used from the fridge after buying, not from the freezer after defrosting. Are you using the exact same product from the brand or is it the frozen block you are using.

@@Rita50 yes that's a fantastic idea. The pastry should hold firm and tastes great. Just blind bake it first into the shapes you want.

when u used the flat side of the knife to cut around the edges it really upset me

EAT PINOY it actually made me think wow thats easy. Just other day i used to this to mke a mixed berry chocolate pie. And i was cutting away at the edges .. so difficult. Your way was massively easy.
