After seeing live-acting order 66 again, this came out at a perfect time!

Seeing Cody's reaction to what he's done than seeing Obi Wan is so heart breaking.

The way Cody can’t even look into the eyes of the viewer, speaks for itself 🙌🏻

I really wish the movie had what Cody says in the book: "He muttered to himself, he could've at least given me the order before I gave him the damn lightsaber back".

0:30 That brief moment where Cody can't look into the camera because he feels ashamed of what he's doing just breaks my heart.

It sucks knowing Cody deep down probably felt so confused about what was going on. “Did I just do that?” Sure Cody was extremely obedient [to not struggle against the chip and show much emotion] but he didn’t hate Obi. We are talking about two soldiers who saved each other many times and grew closer. Great details.

Its an amazing fact that you showed cody instead of that god damn beast's fall it really feels like cody regretted his decision or saying goodbye to his old friend

I like the liberty you took in adding a different perspective, focusing on the clones. Just those few short seconds adds some emotion to it, exactly what the CW series did. Even though we know Cody didn't regret the shot, it makes you feel like all the other clones hesitate a moment to ask, "Did we just do that?"

Great work. I personally like how it wasn't a 100% complete shot for shot recreation. OMG I'd love to see Revenge of the Sith in the Clone Wars animation.

Dude. Props. This looks dope as hell man. Love seeing Cody’s OG armor in TCW style and that extra detail of showing all the clones reacting to it is a Cherry on top. Hope to get to see more Order 66 from ya.

This is more emotional. Imagine watching Cody watch as Obi-Wan fall instead of Boga falling with Obi-Wan and that would have raised the stakes as no one who watched the three original movies would wonder if Kenobi died. We can convey Cody and the other 212th soldiers having a "What have I done" moment? Boga's cries in the distance could add onto this moment as it shows the loyal Clones descent from grace to the emotionless soldiers of the Empire.

That looks almost like a legitimate adaptation in what we would’ve seen in a clone wars episode.

that stare cody does that isnt in the movie was a great addition, added alot of depth to the scene, with his unwavering stance towards his actions.

That last look from Cody is actually really interesting cause you can almost interpret a hint of regret in his body language

Cody's visible guilt really adds new meaning to the scene. Plus the animation, great work!

I love the way you focused on cody, even behind a helmet it made it seem like there was so much emotion behind it for shooting his friend

It’s crazy to see how one extra moment on Cody’s reaction after shooting Obi-wan changes the mood of the scene and says a lot about not only Cody but gives that extra layer to order 66. The animated shows have done this moment in Star Wars lore justice and if anything further made it a greater tragedy in the end.

Holy shit I love how when Obi Wan was falling to the water, instead of being on him, you sat on the Clones and their reactions. That little head movement from Cody spoke a million words. Awesome!

I love seeing Cody look down a little bit, as if he regrets the decision he just made. Beautiful animation.

Love how you gave the clones an emotion of instant regret. Cody was close with Obi-Wan and for him to instantly have to take him out had to in some way give him a feeling.

One idea I've had is that when all was said and done, and the effects of Order 66 started to wear off, the clones who followed through with it had that "what have I done" realization. They would mourn the loss of their Jedi General and friend, but then the pain they feel would harden them because they feel they can't confide in anyone. They'd become cold and ruthless, just as we saw them in Bad Batch. They aren't following orders because they HAVE TO anymore, but because they don't have anything else.

The change in shots towards the end, from focusing on the boga, to focusing on Cody, falls in line perfectly with the moods and tones of the clone wars, especially its work to personify them. Fantastic choice.

TBH this feels better done than the movie, just seeing the clones' reactions as they fall. Surprisingly chilling.

Seeing the reactions of clones following orders hits a lot different. If killing Jedis hurt me during my first time watching the live action. Seeing the clones perspective hurt a lot more. Edit: The ending of that scene gives a "What have you done..." sort of feel. Chills man

I think using different shots centered on the clones and not the ones from the movie was a really smart idea

It's interesting because we, as the audience, rarely ever get to see through the eyes of the clone trooper perspective. This animated version visualizes it PERFECTLY, even if it is just for a few seconds. Well done :)

Damn, exactly the same scene but with a slightly different point of view. It's more focused on the clone's view. They watch their former General and now traitor falling. And Cody, even behind his helmet, we all know how was the look on his face. Love it

i like the change of perspective in this, we saw in the movie Kenobi falling, but now we see his troops and the cold indifference they have towards him as he falls to his "death". im pretty sure if this was an episode it would have been all from Cody's POV

The extra part of the different clones of the 212th including Cody watching Obi-Wan fall after the mountain was shot was a perfect addition.

The betrayal theme with Cody looking down is just a masterpiece hearing the boga cries in the background

As a kid I remember seeing order 66 scene and didn't think much of it and saying well that suck after watching both 2003 and 2008 clone war show i came to enjoy and adored the prequel character even more But later i shed a tear when watching that scene again as an adult since it didn't matter how much we wish order 66 shouldn't happen because the future was already set

I think your adition of Cody and the clones watching is a nice touch. after all, one could argue that other than rex, Cody was the clone closest to their jedi, so even if the jedi were traitors, it would be heartbreaking to turn on a best friend. especially if they were a traitor to a cause you fight all your life alongside them to preserve

I love the focus on the Clones and the sort of guilt from Cody's body language of having to betray his friend.

Love your choice to focus on the clone’s reactions. They followed orders, but clearly were conflicted which is missing from Cody in the film (especially compared to Rex and after seeing Bad Batch)

I've been saying this for years. Someone call Dave Filoni and get him (and all the voice actors from the Clone Wars) to recreate Revenge of the Sith in the Clone Wars style.

I love this because it shows way more emotion in the clones and especially Cody

Cody: "Oh come on, when have I ever let you down?" Obi-Wan: "Very well." Emperor Palpatine: "Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66." Cody: " Yes my Lord." (Looks to Obi-Wan) Cody: "Blast him." (AT-TE cannon fires and hits Obi-Wan. Cody watches him fall) Cody: "What have I done? I've let him down."

I always had a personal headcanon that Cody actually is one of the few clones who didn't have an inhibitor chip, or it didn't have to activate because Palpatine knew he didn't had to get him to do an order, which explains his non-chalant reply. It matches with Obi-Wan's personality of being boring Rex with standard procedures and protocols.

This pleasantly surprised me, excellent work. Love to see stuff like this.

I love the decision to show the clones up close rather than Obi Wan falling. Really shows the regret within the moment and adds to the over all feeling of the clone wars and what they did with humanizing each trooper. Great job!

It’s kinda funny how even though you can’t see the clones faces most of the time they still expressed a lot and had unique character traits but when order 66 came down they somehow felt expressionless even with those same helmets, and you captured that exact feeling when Cody only watched as Kenobi fell after shooting him. Great work.
