After reading an article months ago that Angle turned down an on camera role (after being released) to focus on his (unnamed) business I had to look it up. No way I am gonna pay those prices, plus shipping, plus, sometimes there are hidden border/customs fees that get slapped on before they release your package... ...so I really appreciate this review.
The plant based flavors aren’t vegan friendly. I emailed the company, they said that the protein source is from plants but they use animal products for flavor. Which makes me sad because I wanted to try them.

I've tried all the flavors and I guess we have radically different taste buds because I thought BBQ was the best. My bag had lots of sweet glazed peanuts in it, and I thought the "Chxn" pieces tasted like BBQ potato chips. Second-favorite was the Cinnamon, which tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Worst for me was the Pizza flavor, but then again I've never been a fan of Combos. I am iffy on the price, but when you analyze it based on how much protein you're getting, it starts to seem reasonable. Most protein bars are about $3 and offer around 15 grams of protein per bar, giving you 45 grams of protein for every $9 spent. CHXN SNX gives you 70 grams of protein for a $10 bag.
I remember Kurt Angle advertising this on his Instagram and was curious about it at first but couldn't find a location to buy them in store. After seeing this video I ended up buying them online and for around $10 per bag that makes sense for what it is: a Protein Snack. I bought Cinnamon Sugar, Sriracha, Honey Mustard Vegan, but they were out of The Kung Pao flavor. So far while I could barely taste any "chicken" but it wasn't half bad. The Honey Mustard flavor almost tasted like those Synder of Hanover Honey Mustard Pretzel Pieces but not as overpowering or flavorful. I wouldn't mind trying more flavors in the near future and I do agree something about Buffalo wing sauce flavor on any snack gives us a red flag about it.
A lot of these _Chicks and/or Snicks_ would aggravate my peanut/legume allergies, but strangely enough, I do NOT have any adverse reaction or sensitivities to almonds
I have tried them all I hate that you weren't able to get the honey mustard to me that was the worst because I don't like horseradish and it has a strong taste as it is the second ingredient. However I do frequently buy the jalapeno and Kung Pao the most. The others I just buy every once in awhile to switch it up. I do agree the sour cream and onion have the strongest flavoring. Like Brian to Buffalo I'm not big on sriracha so I wouldn't be fair for me to comment on it. The cinnamon is good for a change as well just to go completely sweet for a dessert. Overall Kurt has me hooked and I've joined his discount Club to get 30% off lifetime since his 20% off only applies on the first order.
I know he's just talking about the sauce...But man I never thought that Brian would say he "Hates Buffalo" not once, not twice, but multiple times in one of his videos! Them's fighting words were I come from! (J/K) Also, you better be careful that The Red Death Daniel Garcia doesn't hear you hating on his beloved home city of Buffalo!! (j/k lol) Kidding aside, As actual Buffalonian, this is probably the first time I've heard anyone say they straight up don't like Buffalo wings at all. While I'll love Buffalo wings and want them served at my funeral, I personally don't care for "fake" Buffalo Sauce snacks at all. A lot of times manufactures will just throw some hot sauce power on their snack on call it a day...But that's not what Buffalo Sauce is all about. Also, just in-case people don't know...Buffalo sauce is literally Franks Red Hot Sauce mixed with a bit melted butter (to your prefecence less if you like it hotter and more if you want milder) and that's that.
I love the Buffalo Wing + Blue Cheese and Sweet BBQ flavors the best. I guess Zane and I have totally different palates lol. And yes, they are a bit pricey, but totally worth it IMO. High quality protein snacks are always way more expensive than junk food. And they have 20% off sales fairly regularly. 👍🏻
Does anyone remember Kurt angle in a backstage segment where he told another wrestler I forgot who it was. when he said so they’re booing you big deal stop crying & do you hear those chants then the crowd chanting you suck when they saw Kurt on the titantron I Earned those you suck chants 😂 . I’ve been trying to look for that segment for years
