I love this channel. I ran equipment for 35 years and I wish I would have had a Dad that had a business like this to show me the ropes. These boys are very lucky.

I like the part where Kevin was having a hard time wresting to get the pump out, then carried it over and set it on the track. Clint said, that was easy. 😁

1degree F = -17 Celsius, the coldest it got on the outskirts of London this year has been -4C, I do not envy you. At -17C I am not sure if our central heating would keep up. Great content again. Your boys are really growing up and even if they decide to go their own ways on finishing school they have learned some real skills and work ethics already.

I love the design of the bulldozer, two hydraulic travel motors is the right way to do things. If they break, go for another one and that's it, without torque converter or oil clutches, etc.

We always have a Couple o Foam Fire Extinguishers within arms reach when welding on our machines - with Oil and dead leaves and the like in the belly pans

Never seen someone make putting a winch on a little dozer a 4 person job. I’ve put winches and rippers on d10 and d11 by myself.😂

And every time you jump into one of those hydraulic dozers I’m always proud to still own a 650g and a450g. The last of the best!

Instead of holding on to information I’m not only sure I’m positive he could have held onto and made several thousands of dollars. But instead of doing that he not only passed that vital information on. He made a video showing how to repair it yourself. And possibly saving some thousand’s in cost. This is someone we in the industry need to fully support! His kind is far and few in between! Believe me I know from years of experience on both sides on the equation. If we fail to support individuals like himself we are surly to loss them altogether! Not only will we lose his knowledge on various types of equipment. We will also lose his honest dealership prices! Wow Clint you guys saw more cold then we did this year in NY State

While the Celsius system makes sense to set 0 degrees at freezing, the Fahrenheit scale 0 degrees is officially cold. +1 F is -17 C. Toque and gloves and put away the fall coat and get out the winter parka weather.

Looks like you're adjusting pretty well to the skidsteer to me. I imagine it's a lot different than grading with the 953 since the bucket is a lot closer to you on the skidsteer. I've only graded with a skidsteer, so I would be in your same shoes if I tried to grade with the 953. Job looks good to me.

One of my first jobs was setting chockers behind a D-7 with the Roostertail and hook before slide bells came along. Your boys may not follow in your footsteps BUT they will have a work ethic in whatever venture they choose.

You can always tell when it's cold out when you hear a sounding crunch crunch when you're walking out on the Snow.

Use a.052 tip with the.045 fluxcore wire! Fluxcore will expand while welding, Clint and could cause problems in the liner! Just a hint, fluxcore wire is totally different from solid wire! Solid wire doesn’t expand, so you run it through the same size tip!

I'm Canadian so I had to learn both metric and imperial. This is how I was taught to convert temps. Take the temp C and double it, then add 30 and that will get you close to F. 0 celsius = 32F and 0F= -32C Anything below 0F I don't know how to convert and anything above 100F doesn't work for that little trick. Hope this is helpful.
