We turned our old sauna into an ‘e-sauna’ using HUUM technology

We had to renovate the sauna at our apartment in Tallinn so we chose to install the DROP electric sauna stove, which is made in Estonia by HUUM. It's stylish and well designed with a large number of exposed stones to produce a superior heat and leil (sauna steam). The newest model also has a WiFi connection so that it can be controlled from a mobile app, as well as the 'UKU' wall mounted controller.
This is the first sauna to receive the new WiFi-connected DROP and this is us testing it out for the first time!
You can try it yourself by renting our apartment and sauna on AirBnB here: www.airbnb.com/rooms/16377724
Thanks for watching! This Estonian Saunas RU-vid channel is run by Anni and Adam. We export Estonian sauna design and technology - including HUUM sauna stoves - at www.EstonianSaunas.com (and into the UK at www.EstonianSaunas.co.uk). Do you know if you don’t have the wifi model, can you set the heater to turn on at a specific time? Like I wake up at 4am I’d like to preset it to turn on at 3am to heat up.

That looks fancy! Why do you beat yourself with that bush though... Is it something Estonian? What purpose does it have?

It supposedly has some health benefits. Softly beating yourself with the branch breaks the isolating layer of air on you, makes you sweat more & opens up pores on your skin to remove any dead skin cells. Movement of the branch itself also helps move around air in the room. It's a fun experience but rather than being something crucial when having sauna, it's more of a tradition from the old days.
