It’s entertaining to watch the older videos. Kara feels so brave for walking over a glass bridge. Knowing all the other crazy physical challenges they’ve done since then.
Hmm, you have to wonder....she said that she was feeling a bit sick. Maybe they are still hinting? These videos are three months behind so she could be pregnant. There has to be a lot of baby making on these trips! 8^) lol!
I like that when Kara is stepping into the Skywalk I am behind her staying on the concrete. That thing was so freaky!!!! Thanks for coming and hanging out with us all week 💗💗 Love and miss you guys!
Hahaha I actually noticed you there the LAST time I watched before exporting 😂Shows how much I actually "watch" while editing. We love y'all!!!!! Miss you!❤
Congratulations Heath & Alyssa on becoming a mommy & daddy :-)!! I love the snowy views of the mountains. We were in Banff three years ago in summer, and unfortunately did not get to go all the way to the Icefields Parkway. I'm glad I could experience it via you guys!
@@martinc.720 You do you. Just realize that virtually everyone within 250 miles of these views is suffering, and hates him, and will break up Canada if he stays. But you do you.
Russel Lewis As I said... why bring politics into a vlog that has nothing to do with it. You really can’t help yourself, can you? Just enjoy the videos for what they are, and find another forum to discuss your views/try to force them on people.
Whenever I'm having a bad day, the first thing I do is to watch all your videos from the beginning. The next moment I am gleaming with a huge smile on my face. You never fail to disappoint me!!!
“Canadians. They know what they are doing”. Of course we do! :-p This Canadian series has been amazing! Thank you for showing this part of Canada in such a beautiful way.
@@martinc.720 Hahaha, I hear you. I about lost my cool with the guy who swerved over the double yellow line into my lane on my way home from work today. Thank god I'm an alert driver. Sigh.
Great video as usual Kara and Nate! Just a small feedback - the clickbait was really annoying and disappointing and it made me feel tricked. I don't think your regular followers need clickbait because your content speaks for itself. And for the new viewers, this clickbait won't be of any interest. I hope you can stick to simpler and non gimmicky video titles going forward. Cheers!
Umang Dhawan it's not clickbait. They were keeping a secret about a baby. And they were even nice enough to say "it's not what you think" in the thumbnail.
7:30 The reason why snow is white is because it scatters all visible wavelengths of light. You could take out all the air and it would still be white. Snow does have a lot of air in it though because it's not very dense. Glacier ice on the other hand is blue because it's been compressed down by pressure to form a different kind of a crystal structure and also because there's less air bubbles. Technically ice actually has more oxygen because water is formed from two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, and an oxygen atom is 16 times heavier than an hydrogen atom. The oxygen content of air ice only 21% in volume and air is only around 1/1000th of the density of water.
@@bobjohnson1710 what are you talking about? they explained it clearly. you see colors because of the light reflected. All colors = white. No color = black. Some color = a range of what you see in the rainbow.
Oh my gosh this Canada series has been absolutely stunning. The scenery, the editing, everything! And Nate, thank you for getting out in the freezing cold to make Kara coffee. Congrats to Heath and Alyssa!
I've lived in Canada my whole life, but, having never been to the Banff area, I honestly had no idea just how beautiful this area of the country really is! Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Alberta, my province, is packed full of things to see. If you are out here or ever out hear, by all means enjoy Banff and Jasper. I recommend Dinosaur Provincial park near Brooks and Writing on Stone near the border, both in southern Alberta.
I’m watching your video as I wait to go my 1055 interview for my current position. 11 of us were laid off 2 Fridays ago and we are all having to reapply and interview for our own jobs. Thank you so much for making such beautiful video to share with us! You are what’s keeping me sane right now!
I didn’t end up getting a position at my current hospital, but I was offered a job at one of our other hospitals! I don’t always understand why things happen the way they do, but I know that it is all part of a great plan!
Hi Kara and Nate.... I've been waiting to say this till this video.... it was fantastic to meet you both at Starbucks in Banff while you were there and for taking the time to have a chat with me, I really appreciated it. Im still surprised by that chance meeting.. But now watching these Canada Videos has reminded me so much of my time there with my family, and the memories we created. You really do a wonderful job sharing your travels and its always a pleasure to watch the videos. If you ever decided to see the West Coast of Australia... you won't regret it...... Thankyou
Absolutely beautiful, thanks for taking us along. I also want to let you know that I appreciate that you stepped back from the arbitration "100 country" goal. It's much more interesting to share great destinations when you aren't worried about fast and furious.
I am a Canadian living in the Gulf Coast and I am SOOOO missing Canadian winters : ) You guys ROCK and I am so loving your take on the great Canadian wilderness...your adorableness and enthusiasm for travel is a-friggin-mazing! Keep on keepin on you guys!!! And your travel buddies extra bundle of love??? CONGRATS to them!
It's been 9 and half years since I drove Icefields Parkway and I remember every sight and every peak that you showed, and there's so much more that you skipped, like Peyto lake, but it is indeed one of the most beautiful drives in the world! That's why this was fantastic episode, those vistas are just eye popping! It's great how there is stopping lane on both sides along the entire length between Lake Louise and Jasper, so you can stop anywhere to take pics. Wish I could go there when everything is under the snow like that, ah what a beauty!
I just discovered your channel and it was SO EXCITING realizing these were some of your most recent videos. As someone from alberta who lived much of my life travelling out to the mountains and spending time in banff or at the glaciers it made me SO emotional watching you guys experience it. It makes my heart so incredibly happy seeing people experience my backyard and share its beauty with the world, thank you guys
A few years back I lived in Canada for a year and I am so thankful that I get to revisit this beautiful part of the world through your Vlogs! I only discovered your channel a few weeks ago but I’ve just been binging on all of your videos and was so stoked when I found out you’d be going to Vancouver and the Rockies! It’s hard to capture just how incredible it is over there, but you manage to do it justice in every video! So thank you for that!
I love this couple,, they are like made for each other and enjoying each other's company.. I thought the secret was kara was pregnant then I am like okay.. Congrats to them too :)
Canada is so beautiful and van life is really comfortable in comparison to sleeping under the tent, when I was travelling as a student many years ago :P I like that you are genuine and supporting each other all the time.
Just discovered your RU-vid channel recently. I think it’s so great. You both really appreciate the joy of traveling the world. Even the simple things in life are a joy. So cool that you are taking the time to do this. Enjoy the journey!!!
As a Canadian (and resident of Alberta), I get very very excited when I see Canadian travel vlogs! Very exciting :) try out Lussier hot springs near radium they are natural hot springs that are hot all year round !
I just started watching some of your older videos and now you are travelling around my stomping grounds! Enjoy Canada, it's the most beautiful place in the world.
Oh wow! I went to the Colombian Icefields when I was 11 for the first time. In August and it was snowing! It's always that cold! And Kara if you can take that crazy flight up to Lukla, the skywalk is nothing! If you guys get here to Toronto let us know! We want to buy you guys coffee! We first started watching you guys in your first month, and we are glad to see you still going!
I’m from Calgary and I drive these roads all the times so it’s crazy for me to see how much you guys appreciate the views that I take for granted all the time
So you guys didn't make it up to Jasper town I guess? The Athabasca glacier is at the very southern tip of the park. I worked in Jasper for five years, that's how I funded my travels until the youtube thing took off. Jasper is beautiful as well, a lot to explore there and you tend to see a lot of wildlife. The town is more authentic than Banff. Maybe next time you're up there. :)
Gabriel Traveler love Jasper! It’s often missed because it’s a bit of a trek but well worth it. I saw your video on how you worked out West, saved, travelled, spent, repeat....and got robbed sleeping on a street in Paris. 🙈
Your videos were recommended to me just 2 days ago and after watching the first one I have not stopped watching love them and you guys are so informative
My husband and I drove the Icefields Parkway a few years ago and I still use the pictures as my screensaver. We also went on the Athabasca Glacier and saw an avalanche!
Thanks so much, I truly enjoyed the Canadian series! Some of the most amazing scenery in the world! And yes, us Canadians certainly know what we're doing lol Congrats to your friends!
2:52 "Canadians. They know what their doing." SO touching to me. I'm canadian and most US YT channels don't appreciate us Kara and Nate = awesomeness!!!!!🥰🤪😁
Bringing back all the memories of 2 years ago when I met up with my friend who lives in Alberta, (I am from Toronto, Ontario) we did alot of the same things, the drive from Banff to Jasper, walked up the glacier. I was there mid August & waking up to 0 degree weather, my summer clothes did not suffice!!
awww, brings back awesome memories of our time in banff/jasper at the end of Sept :) We probably just missed you guys! So glad you got to see wildlife upclose -- we barely got a glimpse of them! Wish you guys had a chance to go all the way up to Jasper and see Maligne Lake. Definitely one of the most scenic trips we've ever been on!! We're not vloggers, but Eugene is a cinematographer, so hopefully, we'll put together a nice video sooner than later.
Wow!! Banff is just gorgeous!! So glad y’all did the van tour with Heath and Alyssa! And it was so cool that y’all were together on Thanksgiving (Canadian) and shared a meal together:) Stay you 😘
This whole vlog was full of one amazing moment after another. The breathtaking scenery, the skywalk (I loved Kara’s editing touch with breaking glass 😉), “THE announcement (congratulations!), the ride to the glacier in those awesome vehicles, the glacier itself and then the elks... This vlog was just great 👍. Can’t wait for the next “chapter” of your adventures!
Your Vlogs always make me so happy! I first came across your “Japan capsule hotel” vlog, over 2 years ago. I have felt connected to both of you and have followed you ever since. Thank you for your hard work, your quality content, and for spreading your positivity 😋
OMG! I did Athabasca when I was a kid in 1969! 😁❄️❄️❄️ Besides the big ice tractors, what I remembered the most was the crystal-ice-blue color of the water running on the glacier! SO beautiful!!!
Stunning, just stunning, beautiful just does not do this video justice. Both your skills of filming and editing have grown so much. You lighten my heart and day with every vlog. Thank you so very much. ❤️ Springfield IL 🇺🇸
I'm so happy! I finally caught up with all of your amazing videos! It's going to be weird not watching more than one episode a day now! Still excited to be caught up though! Keep up the great work!
I immediately thought...baby on the way?....Lol...you guys are really adorable & would make good parents, I believe....but, when you are resdy....lots of love your way!!! 💕
Hi Kara and Nate , More amazing footage - That ice crawler bus is one serious vehicle. That's what we need for our round the world drive we're planning LOL We wouldn't get stuck in that would we ha ha. Loved the vlog can't wait to visit Canada and the USA - Thanks for sharing with us - we both LOVE your vlogs - Chris & Marianne 😍🚐😀
