Thank you so much for this video. I was wondering how I could travel abroad with my bun and it's good to have a lot of the information in one spot. I love the carrier.
How did you manage to keep the buns on board when travelling from a non-EU country? I just read this on the Finnair website "Please note that rabbits, tortoises and hedgehogs are allowed onboard our flights only when the travel starts from an EU country. If you are travelling from a non-EU country into the EU, only dogs, cats and ferrets are allowed." :(
Ugh, looks like they’ve changed their policy recently! 😣 Shame on them. That severely limits the options. ITA Airways may be worth looking into, their website’s quite vague but it’s worth calling their customer service if you’re planning a trip.
Hiii I'm new here, I just bought my first rabbit and it's my first time Why does the rabbit behave like that every night, mischievous and running around stamping? What kind of behavior is this? Do I have to lock him up every night, because he's only outside? Thank youuu just found your yt channel very helping
Not sure we're understanding your set up - is your bunny housed indoors or outside? And are they free roam or in an enclosure? Rabbits take time to adjust to their new environment and get used to your routine. Provide him with plenty of enrichment to focus this energy elsewhere and help tire them out. I give lots of ideas for enrichment in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lm5AuERta5w.html
They really did! Especially for the plane journeys. They weren’t so impressed with the time it took us in Paris to get transport to the hotel. I don’t blame them.
May I ask how much it was to bring your bunnies overseas? We're looking to bring ours back to Canada from Asia, but it costs around 2k to bring him on the plane plus all vaccinations and carriers, which is a lot. Thanks ❤
It was only a couple of hundred $ total for the airfare. Flying in a cabin is so much cheaper and safer than the cargo hold. In cargo you need a specially approved crate which adds a huge additional cost. We have a follow up video coming out soon.
